[Sparks]
As she broke the surface, a deep booming voice rumbled through the chamber. " Who dares trespass in my domain?" A large hand grabs 'sparks by the shoulder and hoists her from the water. The sounds of splashes told her Mikey was experiencing the same thing.

"Threanten?," he calls back as he is escorted off. "You would have made a god agent if you thought all this was about you." Hee hee. And he says Agents are paranoid.
William slows for a second and turns to face Nilo. He is not, however, upset, knowing that the news is often mistaken about him, and that they sometimes lie. What Domicelli thinks of William's true activities are hardly any concern. However. "Washburn? I don't believe I've met him. ." With an indifferent shrug, William turns and debarks the ship, nodding to the guards as he goes. He's still looking for shimmery people, or spies and such.

Eric looks to Al alarmingly "Well this just takes the cake... Just don't let them in. They can't come in if they don't have a warrant. Even if they did. If they're just cops we could out run them no problem." Eric tries to put on a smile, but Al can tell he's worried.

Alice nods at Eric, and replies "Well, no one messed up my flat, but someone was here. Jason found scratch marks on my lock." She shrugs, and says to Jason "Well, Eric has the disc, but I don't have anything anyone would want, at least I don't think I do." Alice forces a grin and turning to Eric says "No wonder I can't find a date." She starts to turn to Jason and starts to say "No, thank you. I can car-.."
As the police pound on Alice's front door, she jumps in surprise and backs away from the door, trying not to panic. Standing slightly behind Eric, she replies, her voice filled with worry "I hope you're right, Eric, I really do."

*does the smart thing .. and hangs still for the moment and once above solid ground, we hope, screams at the top of the voice, before hanging limp, and hoping to make the thing think that she's fainted*

*then the sensation of being swung about and then dunked into the water, shocks her into choking on the vile liquid as her head is raised above the water again, and the eyes turn to look at the thing's arm holding her. then quietly comments 'sorry .. you scared me .. i can walk .. please .. thanks .. ' *then the toes wiggle about trying to reach the ground* 'wow .. either you're really tall .. or you're really strong .. i can't feel the ground. uhh .. mister? .. could you lowerme to the ground and my friend? .. he don't talk .. and he's scared .. and i wanna make sure he's okay .. k?'
*cowed by the total alieness of this whole bit in the dark, her first concern is her friend and his health*

Jason started towards the door, with a mischevious glint in his eyes. " Take the fire escape. I'll see to your guests. " Alice had seen the look on his face before, right after he'd blasted the cops in the alley the previous day. " I'll be down shortly."
[Will]
Still escorting Will, Lenny didn't speak until he was well away from the yacht. " Thanks for not blowing things. Nilo thinks something is up, but I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm messing around with Terri. Tell Ty we're gonna be out of the picture for a while. nilo has some business off the coast. He called her Madam if that means anything. anyways, I gotta get back before he gets suspicious." He turned to walk back to the yacht.
[Sparks]
Whoever was holding the pair of them laughed, and dropped them to the floor below. " You two are of no concern to Ragnarok. Just a pair of lost children. go back to the surface where you belong." A pair of red eyes flashed in the darkness before the sounds of their temporary captor moving away. Michael did not reply, leaving Sparks alone in the dark.

Alice studies Jason for a minute. "What are you doing?" she asks "We can all just sneak down the fire escape. There's no need for you to risk getting yourself hurt." Grabbing her messenger bag, she puts the strap over her shoulder and grabs her duffell bag. "Come on" she says quietly to Eric and Jason. "Let's just go."

"Any business done here will have an ill will, on land or sea." William answers softly though he seems to be watching the ships. "Especially if the person on the other side of the desk does not use her name. Mutants do that. Humans don't, as I'm sure you know. Be wary, and trust no-one but the Domcellis. And without further adieu, William carries on back to the home base place thing on his own.

When Jason sugests the fire escape Eric grabs his bad and open the window to check outside. He peaks out to see if there are any cops outside waiting for them to try and escape. "Al he'll be ok. I'm sure he can take care of a couple of cops."
If there is nobody Eric will hop onto the fire escape and help Al outside.

*crawls over to check on michael. the hands moving over his silent body trying to find out if he's alive* 'mike? .. come on .. talk to me mikey' *fear adding to the panic of the dark*
*then calls out 'hey mister spooky voice? .. he's not moving, and i lost the flashlight. i hate rats and i'm scared of the dark .. mister? ... oh god ... ' *shifts to cradle michael's limp body as the eyes go wider in the darkness as she hears rats moving about* 'leave him alone .. ' *arm moving to throw small debris towards the sounds of the rats and shivers in the dark*
*shifts again to hold michael closer, knowing instinctively that her body heat will help, but other than that? .. no idea of how to get out of the area* 'its okay mikey .. i'm here .. you ain't alone .. i'm here ..' *voice now carrying the sound of tears with the fear* 'i'm here .. you're not alone .. oh god, don't die on me mikey .. please, don't die ....'
*shakes from time to time as the chill starts to get to her* 'don't die ... '

[Eric/ Alice] Jason stopped and reconsidered before nodding and following them out the window to the fire escape. They were halfway down when they heard the door busted in. A shout from the window drew they're attention. " There they are!"
" Hurry." Jason said as the wails of an approaching cruiser entered the far end of the alley.
[ Will]
Will's return to the office building was again uneventful, save for the tail that had been following him since he left the marina. As he started towards the front dor of the building, he knew that the Intrepid that had parked accrossed the street was the same one that had followed him to the bus stop.
[Sparks]
Michael fidgeted slightly, showing signs of life and a weak groaning noise escaped him. As he regains consciousness, he struggles against her embrace Sparks? What happened? I remember falling again, and then ......... why are you hugging me?
The other calling himself Ragnarok is gone as quickly as he appeared

William shakes his head in disbelief. Walking over to the car, he knocks on the window, and when it rolls down says. "I realise that, in our day and age of budget cuts that you have limitations, but what in your right mind made you think you could stalk me using the same car all day?"

Alice smiles and whispers "Thanks" to Eric as he helps her onto the fire escape. Then she silent hurries behind him as quickly as she can manage with the bags she's carrying.
Hearing the anger in the cop's voice, she pauses in mid-step, but continues moving along the fire escape as fast as she can, hoping it is sturdier than it looks.

As the move though the alley Eric grabs a large dumpster and pushes it inbetween the on coming Sirens and themselves. "We need to hurry up!" Eric starts to run then realises he's running way to fast for the others and doubles back. "Sorry, how fast can you run Jay?" Eric says as he jogs lightly next to Jay and Al with ease.

'you're alive? .. ' *voice cracking with relief* '.. uhh .. of course you're alive .. why wouldn't you be?' *shaking with a combination of fear and cold and terror*
'uhh .. i thought you were dead? .. i got scared? .. and you're freezing? .. some big scary guy pulled us out .. and told us to go away .. but you were quiet .. and .. its dark .. and .. ' *tries to stop from babbling and fails at first .. then controls herself and sshuts up*
*moving back from Michael* 'sorry .. won't do it again .. now to get out of here ... ' *turning again to the task at hand and is lost for awhile at first* 'well ... can't get up that way .. cause i don't remember where it was ..'
'i wonder? .... ' *then tries to see if a charged marble would shed enough light to see by, since the flashlight's gone, lost in the mucky water of the catch basin*
*fills the mind with thoughts of old childhood songs and hums along as she struggles to get a grasp of her power .. and notices that while it gives off a tiny glow from the power thats in it, it really doesn't provide enough to actually see by* 'well .. that was a lost cause .. guess it's time to find the way by touch and feel then .. stay put, i gotta find a wall first. no sense both of us going for another swim'
*starts moving away towards what she thinks is the wall, and reaches it after about 5 feet* 'k .. got the wall, now move to my voice. we'll get out of here soon'
