Atom steps closer to the Martian Manhunter, so that he doesn't have to raise his voice.
"J'Onn," he says, "I've detected a temporal anomaly that originates in Star City. This is potentially as dangerous as whatever there is in Mumbai that can take out Superman and Green Lantern. I think I'm better suited to investigating that, rather than being assigned to what looks like it will be a super-strength brawl."
He rubs his chin.
"You're the Ops Chief, so I'll defer to your judgment. If you feel I should rather be in Mumbai, though, my advice would be that you contact Professor Alpheus Hyatt at my university. He has done a lot of time travel research, and he's almost as well versed in that matter as I am."

Oliver set his jaw despite the sinking feeling in his stomach. He knew that is GL and Supes were injured by something, Black Canary may not have returned with them because she couldn't. He tried to put those thoughts out of his head as he asked simply, " When do we leave?"

Kyles ring hand opens and clenches in anticipation. The thought of something being able to tangle with both Superman and a Green Lantern like Jon and leave them both in the infirmary weighs heavily on his mind.
The ring on his right hand glows lightly in response to his thoughts, and he feels comforted by remembering his past experiences as a Lantern.
He glances over at Green Arrow, "I'd say now. Let's hit them hard and fast. After a dance with Supes and Jon, whoever it is probably isn't in the best of shapes. Take them while they're still licking their wounds."

Squaring her jaw, Firehawk looks to the others. "I agree with Kyle. We potentially have the surprise here.. if we can get the drop on whoever did this, we have a much better chance of putting them down quickly, before anyone else can be hurt." she adds in, tone calm. Inward, shes more than a little nervous. Superman is supposed to be nearly invincible afterall, right?

JL WATCHTOWER "Very well, Atom. I'll beam you to Star City, but you'll take Question with you for backup. We cannot afford for team members to go on solo missions needlessly. The rest of you will go to Mumbai. Hawkgirl, you and Flash will share command." J'Onn activates the transporter sequences. MILESBURG Question's JL communicator activates as he hears the Martian Manhunter's baritone. "Watchtower to Question. We have need of your assistance. Standby for beamout to Star City." MUMBAI Hawkgirl, Flash, Barda, Green Lantern, Firehawk, and Green Arrow materialize in the middle of a warzone. Buildings lay crumpled and vehicles smashed. There's the feint odor of gas in the air mixed with dust. Your attention is drawn by the sound of a wall collapsing as you see Metamorpho sail through a wall, as he rolls to your feet.  He coughs once, and smiles, giving a thumbs up. "'bout...time the Calvary arrived." The element man then dissolves into a liquid. "More Leaguers? Good. I was thinking maybe I wasn't going to get a real workout tonight." A bellicose voice calls out. As you turn see a 15 foot tall heavily muscled monster. Green Arrow immediately recognizes the man who was once General Wade Eiling' a former member of Cadmus who ingested some kind of secret serum that turned him into a nearly invincible monster. He and several other Leaguers nearly died fighting him in Metropolis the last time he fought the League.  |

Atom facepalms. The Question. The one man Batman considers too tightly wound.
Then again, even Batman respects the Question's skill as a detective. With Atom's own skills in that area, plus his expertise in time travel, they should be able to figure out fairly quickly what's behind this.
At least J'Onn seemed to agree that a time traveler is potentially as dangerous as whatever can beat up Superman and Green Lantern.
Atom hurries over to the transport platform and stands on one of the glowing blue transport modules.
"Star City," he tells the technician who operates the equipment. "For rendezvous with Question."

Firehawk takes a pace backwards as she turns to take in the monstrous form, eyes widening. As Green Arrow speaks, she glances to him, offering a nod. "Who.. or what.. in hells damnation is that?" she then asks, tone low. The scent of gasoline in the air causes a bit of hesitation, for fear of starting a conflagration with her heat-based attacks..

Energy being who was believed to be a teleporter of some kind. One hand on his belt buckle, so that he can shrink down quickly if necessary, Atom kneels before the golden man. He extends a hand as if to touch him, but doesn't touch him.
"We're with the Justice League," he says softly, reassuringly. "We're here to help. You're in the year 2011. Who are you, and when do you come from?"
