As his conversations appear to be concluded Caleb will go throught with the previous stated plan to switch trucks, question some people to see if he can figure out where the car disappeared to within a block or so, and then astrally scout that area. (previous post basically)

Dark Rider - you aren't sure but you may have been spotted by one of the two men facing off against each other (Rex and Avery)
Lex and Vivian are able to enter their backroom without incident.
Caleb, you'll be waiting a while for your replacement truck to arrive.
Avery, you are trying to hail a cab.
Rex and Yonette are returning to their hotel for tea.

" I thought you might say that." Lex chuckled. " Now, we've got work to do or I'll be looking for a new place for the workshop. But first I have to check on things downstairs, I was half asleep when I put things away and haven't had chance to give everything a quick once-over. Give me a shout if sis gets back before I come upstairs. " He started towards the basement stairs in the back.

Vivian grins and nods. "I'll watch things and let you know if she is coming back." Vivian does some light organizing as she watches out for Lex's sister or any other customers that might come into the store.

As he attempts to flag down a cabbie he makes a mental note to check up on Rex Cranston and his servant later. Something seemed odd about the pair. Especially Cranston's persistence into the matter.

*it take Yonette a few seconds to understand 'bakery'. she looks forward to some almond cookies or some other deserts from home. she tags along quietly and waits to the side of the door while Rex goes to the counter to pick some things out.
*her eyes look at the various things, then the excitement seems to fade as she realizes that this place doesn't carry anything she 'recognizes'. her eyes return to the floor and she bides her time, then moves over to look at the display behind the counter of buns and breads

While the woman at the counter is busy with the customers, he slips in through the backdoor. Palming a throwing knife with his left hand and loosening the Colt .45 in the right-hand holster, he looks around

Dark Rider, a floorboard squeaks under your step. Quite loudly. You can see down the corridor, the back loading door leads to the main baking area, where the large ovens and mixing pans lay clean and ready for use. Hugging the northmost wall is a small depression - a set of stairs leading down a basement storeroom, perhaps?. You turn your eyes off that, and can see through the door to the front counter area as well.
Vivian, you hear it coming from the back entrance. At the same time, the bell rings as the handsome, well dressed man and the Asian woman from earlier enter the bakery.
Lex, the gear is exactly where you left it.
Rex and Yonette enter the bakery, and see the other woman who was present when the cops were taken off the road.
Caleb, you get your new truck.
Avery gets in the cab, "Where to, pal?"

Flinching, he stops for a second, suppressing a "Darn" and holding his breath. He looks in the direction of the counter area, to see if the people there heard the floorboard. But he can't imagine that they didn't.

He considers walking even more carefully towards those stairs to the basement storeroom, but what the heck, everyone most likely knows he's here, so he might as well be bold about it. However, the intrinsic caution that Grandpa Caleb drilled into him wins out, and he still finds himself on the
