"Oh, you are a laugh riot." Long picks up the one that smells like gas instead of swamp water and pours it in the car's gas tank.

" It's a gift." Trevor replied, lowering the hood. " Ready when you are. found these upstairs." He dangled a pair of keys before tossing them to Long. " Ready when you are."

Long gets behind the wheel and turns the key. Hopefully it will start on the first try.

Trevor slid the door open, then got in the passenger seat as the engine sputtered to life on the second try. Trevor reached in his pocket and offered a five dollar bill. " 2 chocolate glazed and a large decaff." He grinned as Long looked towards him," You will be headed for the nearest drive thru, right?"

"Enough with the donut jokes already. Let us get out of here." Long pulls out of the garage and heads for the nearest highway to Miami. It's important to obey the speed limit. We must not draw any attention to ourselves.
[sorry about that. I guess I didn't read it very well.]

"We're driving a '55 Chevy," Trevor looked at Long in suprise," you don't think that will draw attention?"
Despite his sarcasm, which Long had seen used before by someone trying to bury their greif in a tragedy, Trevor did however give directions towards the highway once he got his bearings.
Traffic was light and shortly after pulling onto the highway, they saw a sign ahead that stated the city limits were a little over an hour away. Problem was that parked next to the sign was a highway patrol car that was just getting ready to pull onto the highway behind them

"And the hits just keep on coming."
[Just for clarification, were we somewhere on the north side of the Corbett Wilderness east of Lake Okeechobee? And now we're on Hwy 710?]

(ooc~ man, Portsmouth NH is the furthest south I've ever been on the mainland, so haven't got a clue, hence why I try to avoid specifics)
"Maybe we'll get lucky and he's just a car enthusiast." Trevor said, sounding optimistic.
After a few minutes, the cruiser put on it's blinker and went by them, but the highway patrolman gave them a long stare as he passed.

"We cannot stay on the highway." As soon as we are outside what is most likely the SWAT search area Long finds a back road to turn on to and starts heading for Miami that way. If the two of them are able to make it to a city (not necessarily Miami) they will ditch the car in a back alley somewhere and go the rest of the way on the city bus.

That was when he realized Trevor had either nodded off or passed out, his head slumped against the window as Long drove on, nearing the northern most suburbs.

When Long gets closer to a downtown like area or maybe an industrial area he will find a bus stop and then someplace close by to park that is out of the way. "Trevor. Come on. We need to ditch the car."

" Huh?" Trevor sort of came to," Where? Sorry, did I nod off?" He looked out the window. " Where the heck are we?"

"We are in an alley. We need to ditch this car. There is a bus stop around the corner. We will take that back to Miami." Long gets out of the car and helps Trevor if he seems to be having trouble.

Trevor is groggy, but gets out on his own. " Okay. How long was I out?" He asked as they started down the alley. " And then what? Look, I'm not turning myself in. I gotta find those goons, they're gonna pay for what they've done."

"Probably a little more than half an hour." "I know. I am not suggesting you turn yourself in just yet. I tried that already and it turned fairly bad. I also want to find those liu mang. Justice will be served." When the bus gets there Long finds out what connecting buses will get him to where they need to go in Miami.
