As Long looks, there is a pull cord hanging from the ceiling that looks to be attached to a hatch of some sort in the ceiling.
Trevor didn't look up. "Uh huh, and next you're gonna tell me you don't like doughnuts. Hey, a little gas and I think this thing will run. Body ain't in good shape, but the engine is mint beneath a little dust."

"Actually, no I do not really like them. But once in a while I will indulge in a gai mei bau." Long pulls on the cord and steps back expecting a ladder to come down.
[Merry Christmas!]

Along with alot of dust, a ladder does drop down to reveal a sort of hideout upstairs.
Trevor looked up," What a gaymey ball? donut sushi?" He was grinning as he asked

"It is a sweet bread stuff with coconut. They are really good actually. I will be back in a little bit." Long climbs the ladder enough to stick his head up and look around.

As he climbed up, Long could hear Trevor coughing on the dust he had knocked loose. Upstairs, he could see why the garage stood alone. someone lived up here when they came to the glades, but hadn't been there for a while. Then out the back window he saw the reason for the fast car and the hideaway living space. Nestled beneath the trees beyond the shack were several stills, with a pair of SWAT officers checking them out.

Tiptoeing back to the ladder, Long calls down to Trevor in the loudest whisper he can manage. "Trevor! Cover up the car and get up here now! The SWAT team is outside! They do not know we are here yet, but we need to hide! They will be coming in to check the place out!"

Long heard whispered profanities as Trevor hurried. As Long watched, Trevor threw the cover back in place before transforming into his fiery form to fly around the car quickly once before up the hatch, dropping his flames just before he landed. " should stir the dust enough to hide our tracks." He said softly as he crawled up passed Long.

Long quickly pulls up the ladder and closes the trap door. "Ssshhh! Do not move!"

Trevor looked at Long with a scowl, but soon understood as noises of someone moving around could be heard downstairs, then followed by muffled voices

Long holds tight to the latch on the trap door so that it appears locked in case they try to come up.

After a few tense moments, Long felt the hatch try to open, but he had a firm enough grip on it and the SWAT didn't persist. Trevor moved quietly towards the window, and said in a hushed tone," They're moving away from us."

After the SWAT is gone Long goes back down and uncovers the car. "What else do we need to get this thing running?"

"But I thought you didn't want to steal it?" Trevor smirked as he followed Long downstairs. " From the looks of things, I just need to re-attach the battery and put some fresh gas in it and we should be ready to go."

"I said I would really prefer not to, but since there are not any blankets around here and the SWAT could come back to check more thoroughly I do not see any other choice." While Trevor connects the battery Long will look for a gas can, or if there's nothing else he'll get a jug of ethanol from the still outside.

"There were sleeping bags in the loft." Trevor said with a smirk as he glanced up, "but they won't come back. I took down the free coffee sign."
There were two jerry cans tucked under the bench, both half full. One seemed okay, but the other was rank, indicating old gas.
