Trevor nodded. " As long as we're on the same page." As they walked, they passed an electronics shop that had the news on and a story that involved then as it showed the burned down camp from a helicopter cam. In the corner was an old picture of Trevor. He quickly looked away, " Geez, thats from my high school year book."

"Let us get this done quickly before the whole city is looking for us. And try to keep your face hidden. People might be watching that news report on their wireless and the bus probably has a camera watching the passengers. We should probably not sit together in case they might be looking for two people." Long steps up to wait for the next bus.

Trevor scowled, but didn't say anything as a bus pulled up in a few minutes. The driver didn't pay much attention to them as they boarded and Trevor took a seat two rows up from Long on the opposite side. That was when Long noticed the pair of late teens in front of him paying too much attention to Trevor, who was sitting by himself looking out the window. At the next stop, one of them slid up to sit with Trevor and there was a hushed discussion.

Long just sits there for now and watches very intently and tries to pick up any words that he can.

Long caught the words wallet[/] and quiet as the teen spoke to Trevor. There was something else about the way the teen sat once Trevor had backed away against the windows. He was holding something.

If Trevor is looking in Long's direction he gives Trevor a little nod and mouths the words, "Give it to him."

But Trevor didn't look at Long, and as the bus stopped, Trevor and the teen got off together, followed by the other teen a moment later

Long grits his teeth at the frustration. Things were going ok for almost a whole hour. Long also gets off the bus using the other door and watches where the three of them go.

The three ahead of Long turned down a side street, and almost immediately the teen came scrambling out, tripping over each other and running for their lives. One of them even said to Long, " Lookout man, it's one of them freaks!" as he passed.

Long waits for Trevor to come back out of the side street. "Did you have fun playing with your little friends? Maybe we should just get a cab instead of the bus."

Trevor floated around the corner, his body licking with a barely visible flame. As he landed and the flames vanished, Trevor had a satisfied smile, a look that Long hadn't seen on the other man's face. " They might have learned their lesson. would you sooner I gave them my wallet instead of a fright? Here, let me try something instead." He pulled out a cell phone and called up a saved number. " A friend of mine will be able to help us out."

Long puts his hand over the phone. "I would prefer to have as few people as possible to know about this situation. The less people that know the less people that could possibly get hurt if the shit really hits the fan. Please, let us just get a cab."

" Look," Trevor replied, " Ashley is like family, okay? If anyone can help, it's her. " When it went to her voicemail, he hung up. "Fine, she didn't answer anyways. Let's go."

Long steps up to the curb and looks for a cab. And hails the first one that comes by. [Not sure how busy the street is that we're on.]

After a few moments, a cab did pull up so they could get in. The driver, a large african-american woman, asked, " Where to, sugah?"
