Robert puts the controller down and stands up. "Sounds good. Lead the way, Deci." Robert will walk next to Deci on the way to the pool. "So, what's your deal?"

As Deci walks ahead she does not head to any pool but makes a turn and heads straight for the beach. "How do you mean what is my deal. Do you mean who am I, ow what can I do?" She responds to him obviously confused by the question.

Robert looks at Deci, slightly put off by her confusion. "Ummm...Both I guess. I was more interested in who you were though."

Deci continues on her walk, "Oh, I am December Winter, and yes no jokes on that. I was born in Canada but in a custody battle was raised by my father mostly down here in Miami. My father is a lawyer and I have a BSC in Marine Biology. On my first scientific exploration which was in Antarctica I wound up being caught in the radiation of a fallen meteor as it hit the ice and now I have powers over cold as well as other things." She pauses before continuing as she remembers the warning of being a chatter box. "What else would you like to know?"

Noting their reaction, Alice nods at Sierra hoping to get them thinking things that may help expose them in their panic as she says "Yes, that is a very good idea." Standing up, she adds "Let's do that. If they won't tell us anything, I'm sure we will learn a lot from the tests we run."

"Magic? Ancient spirits?" Beth scoffed. " You're kidding, right? Having powers granted in wierd and wonderful ways is one thing, but wizards and dragons and all sorts of things quite another. I think you are grabbing at straws, Isamu."
The word tests got Alice and Sierra an even stronger reaction as the four actually moved backwards in their cells. " We will not go for the tests." Tau said. Delta added, "We are not failures, there is no need for the tests." The other two nodded in agreement.
"Ladies, stand down." Mac said, a cold edge to his voice. " There will be no tests, for now. We will give you some time to consider co-operating or it's alternatives." He motioned for Alice and Sierra to follow him from the room.
As Robert and Deci left, they could hear the stereo turned back up as the door closed. Outside, a light breeze had come up, but it was still a very warm evening. There was no signs of anyone else around and for the most part, the beach house was quiet.

Isamu raises an eyebrow and looks at Beth he extends his hand palm out, and focuses for a moment and the hand begins to turn to stone. A faint sound reminicint of someone cracking hundreds of joints at once can be heard as the process continues. Gone is the smooth texture of his skin, and instead replaced with the rough texture of rock. His finger and entire hand appears to swell as the rock replaces skin.
He looks at her, and the hand begins to change back to skin he says, "I have no other explanation, and as you can see I can turn my flesh to stone. We have witnessed things far different from ourselves, or have you forgotten when we rescued Ashley from that abandoned hospital Tom?"

Tom shrugs. "Isamu's been at this longer than I have it - if he says magic's a possibility, then I'm going to defer to his judgement until I can find evidence of a more reasonable theory."

Alice looks frustrated but hides it as best as she can as she follows Mac out of the room. Once Sierra has joined them, she asks Mac bluntly, "What are you hiding? Why won't you let us perform tests?"

'jeez ... your bloodthirsty. i only suggested it to get a rise or even a reaction. i sure didn't expect hte fear they showed.
'but i'm sure that if they tried hard enough, they woulda seen thru my attempts at being cold and hard. the only thing I found out while waiting with Deci .. they're all psions like you alice .. but not really powerful. and they have slight differences in the other psion talents they can do. but i'm not sure what they are.
'just know that they wanna die instead of get caught. but if they're dead .. who's gonna stop them from getting samples unless they turn to go or vanish or something'
*gets to the main floor and heads into the kitchen to grab some juice and pours it into a cup and sips while waiting.

Deci not hearing from Robert starts to walk towards the water at a slow pace just in case he speaks up to her. Uncharacteristically she takes a breath not being able to even enjoy the smell of the ocean really.

'eww .. ' *she gives a shudder and then wipes down the arms in a show of how creepy that makes her feel
