Seeing no reason why to stop what she is doing continues to blast away, this time aiming at the one heading towards Balus.

Fegh does a double move, faking one way to dodge the strike of the creature, then moving the other way bringing one of his blades up to strike at the creature that just attacked him.

Balus and Krystal bring down another beast as Fegh swings his blade into the neck of his prey, the acid burning the sleeves of his uniform.

The Captain calls out. "Fall back! Evac en route!"

If she sees it or hears the call for evac, she will stay where she is for the time being to give the others a chance to pull out. She will back up slowly though not turning her back on the enemy at all. She will Blast again.

Balus lashed out [dice=20] at another of the creatures even as the evac order came. " Get going, I can buy you some time."

The Captain bellows at Balus. "That's an order Corporal!" as the others start moving back.

Balus's punch causes a creature to explode, while Krystal's blast causes a beast to leap back.

Krystal still backing up will continue to fire and actually sit on the shuttle that has come to pick them up covering everyone she can until the enter.

Fegh motions to the other fire team members, "fall back," as he begins to back up and keeping his blades raised in front of him in case another beast charges up.

"Yessir" Balus replied obediently and began to backpedal for the rest of the group, pacing Fegh in case more of the creatures showed up.

THe group retreats as you hear the hum of the lander vehicle descend into the clearing.

The Captain barks. "Get the refugees on board and keep those things at bay!"

Seeing no orders from the Captain for her to get in, Krystal continues to stay on the ship prepared to launch her shield to protect the ship or the innocents that are getting on. She knows it is not at full strength but is prepared never- the-less.

" Krystal, can you put up your shield between us and the refugees in case any slip by?" Balus asked as he waited for the next creature to get close enough.

Krystal listening to Balus does as he instructs and throws up a field with about 500 SDC between themselves. "It is up. I am saving whatever is left for the ships protection. I can stay outside so just tell the Captain to lift off."
