The rest of the creatures start expelling more of the green mist that is their breath

Even as the green mist started to surround him, Balus wasn't overly worried and focuesed on stopping the creatures

Fegh closes in to the nearest creature and dives to go under it, slashing at its back legs as he passes. Tucking into a roll he tries to roll out of the dive and spring to his feet to advance on the next creature in line.

Fegh cuts open the soft underbelly, rolling clear just in time to find that the creatures blood is a powerful acid!
Krystal's blast finds its mark and scores the leathery skin of a monster.
Fegh and Balus both start to feel dizzy and disoriented (-4 to all actions, half that for Balus)

Krystal banking on that the radiation will weaken them enough for the others does not fire at the same individual but just keeps shooting at the enemies.

Realizing the beasts blood is corrosive he turns his two short swords into long dai katana's with 48 inch blades. He then leaps at the nearest creatures and tries to decapitate it with a swipe with one of the blades.

Feeling off, Balus knew they had to end this quickly. Locking his fingers together, he swung both arms with tremendous force(power punch) in a viscious manner at the nearest beast.

Fegh's swipe fails to completely decapitate the creature, but severs the spinal column, causing it to drop.
Balus' strike hits home and causes the creature to explode - it's acidic remains eating away at what's left of his uniform.
Krystal's strike, backed by attacks from private Genda, brings another creature down. Wayl, on the other hand, is having a hard time with his foe, as his hands are burning with the acidic blood and another creature is biting onto his back.
