Joshua was unable to protect himself in the Sentinel's grasp. " I.. you wont understand."
"SILENCE." ordered the Sentinel holding him. It turned it's back to Cap , intent on departing. As it did, Elixir was mouthing something. [roll perc]
Again the other two fired at Cap, attempting to block him fro the retreating robot.

Cap caught the Sentinel just at it was preparing to take off, and as he did , it teetered forward to the ground. "DAMAGE. EXECUTE PLAN BETA."
Joshua was pitched forward. He rolled with his landing and came up on his feet. He scowled. " Wait. I still surrender." He held up his arms.
"RESISTANCE SUFFICIENT TO INITIATE PROTOCOLS" The robot announced. All the robots, save the downed one that was just getting up, turned their attention to the hidden base and opened fire with their palm lasers, slowly devastating it.
Joshua looked at Cap, tears actually starting to flow. " All they wanted was me, so I agreed to surrender to buy the others time to escape. Mr. Barnes was too injured to move, and by the time I would have healed him, they would have been inside and caught us both. He told me to do it, he said he wouldn't be turned into someones mindslave again. So I had his body taken by the others through the escape tunnel in case I slipped away because I can revive him. I tried to contact Mr. Stark and tell him why they had come, but he wasn't answering. You've got to ... Oomph!"
The damaged Sentinel caught Joshua with a blindsided laser blast that flattened him "PRIMARY TARGET INCAPACITATED."

Cap catches his shield in one hand and the downed mutant in the other. "Just need to buy a little more time."
The Sentinel of Liberty makes a full run at the nearest Sentinel attacking the compound

Cap slammed into the robot, causing it to stagger it's step, but the machine's orders were clear as it only stopped it's assault long enough to regain it's footing, then began to fire on the building once again.
Unexpectantly, the Sentinel to Cap's right had a malfunction. It's head fell to the ground, followed by the body collapsing. Standing atop the downed robot was a welcome sight as a man in a bright yelow costume turned to face Cap, claws retracting into his hands. He sniffed the air " You're a long ways from home, boy scout. Mind if the locals crash your party?" Logan smirked as missiles streaked in from behind them to hammer two more of the Sentinels.
The Sentinels changed their focus as two more familiar figures flew in overhead, and Wolverine contacted them with a communicator," Rhodey, Carol, Johnny, watch where you drop these things , we've got friendlies on the ground, apparently with wounded."
The Human Torch replied, Logan's communicator loud enough for Cap to here " Don't mess around too long, we got more coming to play too."

Once back inside, Cap could tell the building wasn't going to take much more. The first thing he spotted was Tony, just coming to despite all the racket. Ahead, towards where Cap had left his friend, a small pocket door he hadn't noticed earlier had been left ajar.

Part of the roof collapsed in behind them, leaving Cap only the small door as a route to escape. Once inside, it descended downwards until it reached a subway line that hadn't been used in some time. At the far end of the section, several people were loading into what looked like modified version of a Quinjet, but longer and without wings.
Tony was suddenly beside them," Get on the escape craft,Logan and his team have things under control, not to mention if Carol sees you, there are going to being more questions than I bet you care to answer. You're lucky I don't have time to return the favor for slugging me." He was already moving for the craft.
