Steve processes this as best he can. "On our way." He increases his speed, pushing beyond his limits. "Gone?"

" I mean off on one of their crazy missions." Bucky replied. Steve could feel something starting to wet through his uniform. Overhead, a pair of Sentinels streaked in the direction they had come. "STAY WITH ME SOLDIER!" Cap pours on the speed, taking a moment to adjust his position and put pressure on the wound.

Bucky groans at the pressure being applied. " Oww... dammit.. your bedside manner sucks.. Look for a battered old SHIELD billboard. The D is a hologram over a hidden entry." He groaned again. " Hopefully he asks questions before shoots at me."

Cap looks for the billboard and races through the D once he finds it. "I'm a soldier, not a doctor."

As they pass through the hologram, the pair of them were inside a small chamber, with a large door at the other end. A video camera tracked their movements. bucky stirred, and Cap could feel his friend's hand moving towards the sidearm on his utility belt, his shield angled to block the cameras angle.
" What kind of trick is this?" Boomed a voice from a hidden loudspeaker.
" Shut up and open the door, Tony." James demanded. He added with a defeated tone," I need your help."

The door slowly hissed open, and Iron Man, minus his helmet, met them at the door. Tony Stark hadn't changed much, except the salt and pepper treatment of his hair gave his playboy charm a distinguished look. " As I live and breath... it really is you, isn't it?"
"If his kisses you, I'm going to puke." Bucky groaned.
" Don't start, Barnes, or I'll throw you out." Stark replied.
Cap could feel the weapon be reholstered until Bucky slid down from his shoulder. He could barely stand, but forced himself to do so. " Then you'll be blamed for the deaths of both of us, wouldn't you?" He slung his shield, causing him to stutter a step." We both know I wouldn't be here if I wasn't desperate."
Tony looked at Bucky, " Fine, you know where medical is, I'll be right there." He turned to Cap," and there's place just past that to clean up, old friend."
As Cap looked, he could see the side of his uniform was soaked through with bloodstains, giving the blue a blackened look.

Tony nodded and went to a control panel while Bucky directed Cap towards the medical suite. It was fairly empty, except a man with blonde hair facing away from him. He turned as they entered and Cap could see the young man was clearly a mutant, with golden skin. " Can I help..., Mr. Barnes? Quick, get him on the bed."
"Calm down, Joshua. I'll live." Bucky said." Want to get really excited, meet a real hero. Exilir, meet Captain America." Bucky smirked at the expression of awe on Joshua's face.

"Pleasure to meet you, son." He smiles. "Sorry if I'm not parade presentable, but despite what some like to think." He raises an eyebrow at Bucky. "My uniform is made for combat, not show."

The young mutant's awe slipped to a grin. " Yes sir. I'll do my best with Mr. Barnes." He was already looking at Bucky's leg.
" Your uniform is is..., "Bucky rolled his eyes before lying back, shaking his head with a chuckle. " Yeah, yeah, I hear you. Go clean up and see Tony before he wets his pants in excitement."
" I heard that." cut in Tony Stark, standing in the doorway. " Joshua, try to be gentle, Soldier is a little soft after all."
"Bucky didn't bother to sit up and look at Iron Man. " I'm not the one who hides inside a tin can. by the way, is Rhodey speaking to you yet?"
There was no answer, Tony had walked out.

Rogers shakes his head. "I thought you guys were in a war for the freedom of the planet. Strikes me as a bad way to win if you fight each other more than your real enemies. You of all people should remember that." as he walks out after Tony.
"Tony? Sitrep?"

Tony was just around the corner. He shook his head sightly," Things have been bad, don't blame Bucky for being sharp with me. Besides, he still blames me for you being... what are you doing here? This isn't possible, unless you're not the Steve I knew. Though I guess it wouldn't be the first time you came back from the dead."
He patted Cap on the shoulder. " It's good to see you."
