Feeling Sarah's reaction Coop said lowly, " You don't have to go with. I'll talk Eleutheroi into giving me a lift out there. He'll probably do it just so he can rub in that I owe him a favor. But for now, it's not late. Why don't you give Tobrias a call and get his take on the movie?" He suggested, clearly admitting it was still bugging him.

Sarah smiles weakly "I'll be ok. I'd want to be there to give you support if you needed it" She nods quietly and replies "Yeah, once we get home, I'll give him a call and see what he thinks about what happened at the movie."

After they get home, they call into the Guild. Turns out, Tobrias has taken the night off and the guild's on a skeleton crew at the moment. You know who else would have gone through this? Good ol' Daddy Lockheart (Man, I wish I could get into those blasted archives).

Sarah sighs as she leaves a message for Tobrias and hangs up the phone. Smiling weakly, she says "I guess we can ask him tomorrow."

" Nothing we can do until morning then." Coop shrugged. " Even the boss needs a night off every once in a while. Hey, what about professor whatshisname from the occult club? He might be able to give us some insight on this kind of thing. Of course he's liable to ask why we don't show up as much any more."

Sarah nods quietly at Coop. "I think you're right. There isn't much more we can do tonight." Smiling quietly, she nods "That's a good idea. I'll see if I can track him down at school tomorrow after class." She adds "I'm sure I'll think of a good excuse, if he asks about that."

Sarah nods and does a quick little stretch. "Yeah, I'm right behind you." She replies as she grabs a book to read in order to relax before going to sleep. Smiling softly, she adds as she heads towards the bedroom, behind Coop. "You know, you don't have to hide those anymore."

Sarah answers the door, and when she sees that it's her father, she smiles and gives him a hug. "Hi Dad!" she says happily, "What brings you here for a visit?" Sarah moves to the side so her dad can come inside and offers him a cup of coffee. Sitting with him at the kitchen table, she says "Actually, I'm glad you're here. The weirdest thing happened at the movies last night." Sarah describes what had happened at the movies, and the weird feeling that both she and Coop had while they were watching it and what Eleutheroi had said. Looking a bit worried, she asks "Did anything like that ever happen to you? What do you think it means?"

Stepping out of the bathroom after a morning shower, Coop heard voices in the kitchen and went to investigate as he tucked in his shirt. He was about to give Sarah a good morning kiss, but hesitated when he saw who their company was. " Morning Mr. Lockhart. You're around bright and early this morning." He said politely as he got himself a glass of orange juice and sat down at the table.

"Oh, thank-you." Moltavius says, taking the glass. "You're too kind."
Sipping the juice, he answers. "I got a call from Eleutheroi last night. Well, Mierin. They thought it was important to get in contact with you about some vision you both had. Eleutheroi was cooing, Mierin said." Looking each of them in the eye, he says, "Is there something about you two that your mother and I need to know?" He asks, sounding as if he's keeping down potential excitement.

Sarah looks over at Coop, wondering exactly what it was her dad was hoping she would tell him. Shrugging, she says "Well, we've been talking about moving to a new apartment, but that's all the news we have right now." Sipping her coffee, Sarah asks "What did Eleutheroi mean when he said the city had picked a defender?"

Without a second thought, Coop got a second glass of juice from the fridge and retook his seat. " It wasn't really a vision, more like a ....," he paused, trying to remember the right term from Sarah's books," subliminal message during the movie. It was like there was something beneath the movie, kinda like when you take an old tape and record over it and then when you play it, some of the stuff underneath bleeds through." He described, hoping he didn't sound like an idiot. " It was really wierd."

Moltavius puts the glass down somberly. "This is sad, sad news. Very sad." He says.
"You know, your mother was already picking out what dress she was going to wear, Sarah. Who she was going to invite. This is going to crush her. And I have to tell her."
With a sigh, he drinks some more juice. "The vision, and it was a vision, cleafrly means a lot of things. First of all, Coop. It means you're officially part of the gang. Second of all, if it's a big enclosed place, maybe it means caves, or a stadium, or something."
