*Sierra enters the house and follows the largest 'reading' of meta's and pokes her head into the kitchen 'hey, we're back. sorry, only thing i can report is Wraith started working for the city to deal with .. 'problems' like us.
'where's Dylin? need to talk to him about stuff now' *she's made her report, what there really is of it and heads off to get the paperwork started for payment for Arc's time and other paperwork outlining 'protective custody' for a small family.
*before heading off upstairs 'so did any of you figure out what that 'fuzzy' feeling i had was? it was like a Meta in my range, but it vanished when i tried to focus on it. guess you could say it kinda wasn't there' *she shrugs and then heads of to where Dylin is, wanting to get started on that project

Deci spins around after hearing him. "Ryne. Um...Ryne went upstairs because he was a little too intoxicated I think he said. And unfortunately no I do not know where your keys are but would be happy to help you look for them though. Or he probably has not passed out yet. He may have them on his person?"

" Sorry Tom, of course." Dylin said. " Janie, can you drive Tom and Beth?"
" Sure, just let me grab my purse." she said with a smile, clearly happy to be doing something."
As Sierra and Kristian arrived, dylin listened to her report. " It is a start, Sierra. nice work. unless Isamu or Alice object, I'll give you a green light to continue your dealings with this Arc character and moving his family into protection."
Beth looked at Sierra," I've heard that there is some drug out there that can block metahuman's powers and make them normal humans for a while, and that some of them get a fuzzy feeling from it." she blushed. " Sorry, we haven't met. I'm Beth, Tom brought some of your friends to rescue me earlier." she looked at Tom and grinned
Janie returned with her keys and purse in hand," All set."
Avi chuckled," Ryne's drunk? There's two, maybe three beer wasted. All right, let's go ask him. I don't even know where he parked my ride. He borrowed it this afternoon, but it's not in the yard. You don't know where he parked it, do you?"

Isamu thinks over the information. He says, "if they are not the spirit, it could still be that the spirit is operating through them, or behind them. If it is in fact one of their ancestors it could simply be behind the scenes manipulating matters. There is no way to know. I need to contact my uncle. Perhaps he knows how long this spirit has been free, and if so that may help us determine if he is involved or not."

"Oh....that ride!" Deci says as she finally put two and two together. "That wouldn't be the vehicle we borrowed this morning to go visit my father would it? Because if it is, well, it is kinda in the impound lot most likely." She pauses before her blabbery nature takes hold yet again. "See there was this thing with the police coming to my Daddy's house because of a vehicle and fugitive thing. And well, yah, it was left behind. I mean I suppose it could still be in front of my Daddy's house!" She offers a weak smile.

" You lost my truck?" Avi said in a flat tone, a bit of a scowl on his face. " Tell me your kidding? " He groaned and closed his eyes. " Tell me the whole story please. I know he's not capable if he's had anything to drink." He wasn't upset, more like disappointed.
Beth held up a hand for Janie to wait a moment. " Well, here's a peculiar fact that gets downplayed whenever it comes up. no one has ever gotten a picture of them together. In fact I was told to never mind that I've never even seen them together."

'glad to meet you Beth. Sierra. stuff's called Cure, but i felt the 'fuzzy' a couple of times. almost like it was suddenly aware of me or something and withdrew.
'well i got paperwork to do now. have fun. really need to get it done today while i remember what happened. and glad we could help get you out' *that said Sierra heads off to settle down in the living room to do the required paperwork. her mind deep in thought about the 'legal' words and stuff needed to ensure that Arc would be 'left alone' but kept on a 'retainer in case of information'.
*she shakes her head as she hears Avi getting bummed out now ...

Alice nods at Jason "Yeah, that's right." She didn't agree that it would have been better for Jason to go on believing a lie, but she realizes it had been a shock for him to hear the truth so she doesn't argue with him. Forcing a smile, she says "Let's go find Dylin and ask him."

"Well, Ryne volunteered to come with me to my father and Grandmothers house in an effort to help just in case they had any questions or along those lines. Unfortunately the police showed up at his door asking about a fugitive which from what was explained to me turned out to be Ryne. Well in an effort to keep my family safe we left out the back door and flew to the nearest rental place for the day. I am assuming from what he told me is that the vehicle itself was towed most likely and at the impound lot. That in the nutshell is the story."

Beth looked at Tom and smiled," What, suprised I know anything about any of this? I'm a reporter, remember, and we don't always report everything we see and hear. but I do know there is something screwy about the mayor and his nephew."
A plate slid in front of Sierra, alongside her papers. " Hope you like Chicken Ceasar wraps. " Kristian said as he took a seat," No problems with MacColter?"
Avi shook his head slightly," Okay Deci, guess there's nothing you could have done. I'll have to try the impound lot in the morning. I guess thanks for keeping him out of trouble then. Ryne's had a rough go of it last little while."
Jason nodded, taking Alice's hand in his and led the way clumsily as he adjusted to the changes caused by his surgery. " Do we ask, or just tell him?" He smirked, halting as he saw Dylin with several others from the house.

Isamu rubs his chin as he thinks about this. He remembers from childhood stories about spirits that could be multiple people, but only one at a time. They could even possess one person at a time. He says, "it could be this spirit is controlling them. He may only be able to do so one person at a time."

Alice looked at Jason and says "I think we should tell him in private, given the circumstances." Alice will wait for an opportunity to get Dylin's attention so she can ask "Can we talk to you again for a sec in private?"
