Everyone made it back to the beach house eventually. Jason had kept his word and was still there. Kristian had managed to stabilize Ashley until Avi arrived and began to treat her under Isamu's watching eyes. He had done all he could before taking her to her room to rest and convincing Isamu she needed some rest.
Janie was waiting on Tom. " I didn't get chance to answer the phone earlier when it rang. There's a message on it for you." when he listened, he heard...
" Hi Tom, it's Beth Gromley. I don't know what your into, but someone doesn't like me snooping around. Someone is following me ever since I got back from the cruise. Anyways, I might have something for you. Call me please."
Janie looked at Sara," Hey, you got a message too, I think. An Email came in addressed to Ballistic." She handed off a printout. All that was on it was " Hiya Sara. Glenn's in town. Come out and play." It was signed Homicide, a name Sara knew well from her past.
MacColter smiled as he approached Sierra and Deci. " Nice work ladies. From what I saw on the monitors, you two did well tonight. Smart thinking with the ban-adio." Beyond him, Ryne and Kristian were grinning, nodding in agreement.

Deci is happy with the two compliments she recieved tonight which seemed to add to her jubilation of how her first day went. Also this starts to point out how late it is as she lets a yawn escape from her mouth. "Well then unless I am needed for something else I will take my leave so I can go take a shower. If I have time tomorrow I should probably go explain to my father some things that have happened. If anyone wants to jump on the grenade and join me I would be most grateful. But if I do not have the time, that will be too bad..." The last part was as sarcastic as can be.

Alice smiles quietly glad to see that Jason is still there, though she is still worried about what will happen when MacCoulter tells him the information he told her. Looking over at Sierra, she says with a smile, "Thank you for your help back there."

Sara frowns reading the printed out email message. She crumples the message up with one hand, looking out of it as she stares off in the distance. Homicide; someone she had hope never to see again, yet apparently, he had other ideas. Sara suspects that her former employers in Miami are not happy she left them, or Homicide was bored and was looking or attention.
Didn't matter really. Homicide was in town and people were going to start dying if she didn't go look him up first.
She faintly hear Alice address her, snapping out of her grim revelry she smiles faintly, saying, " Oh... your welcome. I don't think I made much a difference in that fight seeing I couldn't hurt the guy. Maybe next time I'll bring something in the heavy bore, armor-piercing category.
"Promise I'll do better next time. I have a reputation of reliability to uphold after all..."

Isamu nods, "I will let her rest. Thank you for doing all you can."
He tries not to look in Jason's direction. He can't help but feel that this is partly Jason's fault for leaving and not turning to them for help, causing Ashley to go out looking for him and running into Rags.
He walks up to Deci. He says, "December. I want to thank you very much for everything you have done. You stayed with Ashley and tried to help her," it is obvious he is trying to hold his emotions in check, "if you had not stayed with her, ...she may not have survived. Thank you. I owe you more than I can ever state. If Ashley were conscious we would go with you. I would go alone, but I think I need to be here when she wakes up." The look on his face shows his hope that Ashley comes to soon.
After a brief pause he says, "December, thank you again. You did a great job today," he says completely sincere, eyes almost teary.

Deci seeing Isamu almost in tears gives him a hug and realizes how much a drain on his emotions this has been. "You know you need sleep. Why do you not go get some and I will go watch Ashley and wake you up immediately if she does. Or you can go clean up as it would probably be better if you are in your top form when she wakes up. So go take a shower relax and I will watch her. How does that sound. Unless I am needed for anything else?"

Isamu stiffened when she first hugged him, then he relaxed. His relief that Ashley was home and this person who wasn't happy with him before now seemed to have totally changed around. After releasing the hug he says, "Thank you December I think you are correct. I just need to wait a few moments and see what Alice and MacCoulter think our next course of action would be."
He pauses for a moment and looks at her, he says, "tell me, how do you think your father will react to you working with us, and what happened today?"

"I don't know how he will react. I am his only child and I have not even revealed what happened to me in the Antarctic. I am not even sure how I am going to break the news to him at all. But I figured something would come up when we talked to him. Hmmm maybe a letter, he can appreciate that as a lawyer." She pauses knowing that actually it would probably piss him off. "No that is probably not it, maybe I will just play it by ear. Sure with my grandmother saw me in the getup I was in earlier. Actually come to think of it, it would have probably floored them both. Either way I will have to think on it!"

As Tom call, the operator cut in," We're sorry, but the customer has their phone turned off"
" I'll go with you Deci, if you like?" Ryne said. " I'm not really doing much here, and as a senior team member, I should be able to answer any questions he has."
Kristian slid up behind Sierra, and wrapped his arms around her," I hear you had some fun out there without me tonight?" He asked over her shoulder, trying to get a read on her.
Sara,are you okay?" You look like you saw a ghost." Janie asked.
" Is, go get some rest. I'll wait on Ashley. If anything goes wrong, she needs me anyways." Avi said as he turned to walk away towards medical. He smirked at Alice," I guess you dragged me back after all."
" What's that supposed to mean?" Jason snapped, taking offense.
" Between me and Alice, Jas." Avi replied." I'll be downstairs if anyone needs me."
Jason was a blur, and suddenly blocking Avi," No, you'll be apologizing to my girl, Avery."
Avi's fist was suddenly energized as the tension elevated during the staredown. MacColter raised his voice," Stand down, boys."
Neither of them seemed to be listening as they stared one another down, waiting for the other to do something.

Alice sighs in frustration as she thinks 'This is the last thing we blood need!' She then yells telepathically at Jason and Avi 'HEY!'. Stepping between both of them, she holds her hands up and says "We have enough going on without you two getting into a fight!" Looking at Jason, she says, her voice softening a little "I appreciate that you are trying to stick up for me. Avi and I had an argument earlier that we still need to discuss." Moving her head to look at Avi and then at Jason again, she says firmly "NOW STAND DOWN!"

"By the way before we leave," she looks around checking the time on the clock to make sure the time to see if it is early enough for her father being up, "Did someone contact a person about that building for new trussy things to be put up. I mean Ice is only good for a couple of hours as it will be warming up in the sun soon." She then trails off saying her piece into her head. I am glad a boy will be coming with me. Heck it might get my father off my back about finding a BF, or at least look like I am trying to him. I just wish I knew what I wanted in that form. At least I will be able to get some things so I can make my room more mine.

Isamu watches what transpires. He doesn't want to get involved but he has had enough. He says as he rises to his feet, "have you two not had enough of this already? You are supposed to be adults, and team mates, I suspect at some point you may want to start acting like such. We almost lost someone tonight. Not to mention the danger everyone was in. Wraith is running this city as if he is in charge, Super powered criminals are attacking at will, we have no federal standing at this moment, and you two still choose to bicker like little children. Please, stop," his voice normally calm now is laced with frustration and his normally stoic demeanor is gone as anger is displayed across his face. Taking a deep breath, his face back to its usual passivity and his voice back to normal, "Avery, thank you for all you have done for Ashley, I do appreciate it. Jason thank you for bringing her home."
He turns to Alice, he says, "I am sorry I have not been more help to you. I am also sorry I fell apart today and had to leave things solely on you while you were out there." He gives her an obviously fake smile and motioning towards Jason he says, "I did say we would find him though."
Isamu being trained to fight could handle battle and the feelings that came with it before and after, just as he has in the past, but the emotional drain of watching and not being able to help as Ashley almost died seems to almost be to much for him as the adrenaline from the day starts to drain he visibly sways on his feet. "I think I need to meditate for a short while, if that is ok, Alice," he says and looks at her as if asking for permission. He hopes that saying something to these two will have some effect and that by asking Alice for permission, he shows that in the end he does defer to her as the leader of their group.

It took them a minute, but Avi turned to Alice. " Sorry, I was out of line. It's been a crazy day, and I need a crash. Anyone needs me, I'll be down in the medcenter. Is, maybe Ashley would be better with you nearby. a familiar face when you come to is always a good thing." He says nothing to Jason as he brushed passed.
Jason watched Avi leave as his arm slipped around Alice. " Sorry, he just gets under my skin." He looked at Isamu, "Ash would do the same for me, but what was everyone doing up there anyways? Just lucky I was headed that way."
Ryne looked at Deci," Isn't it a little late to land on your father's doorstep?" ( OOC: Ryne is no boy, he's in his early 30s ) Janie looked at Deci and nodded," The fire Department got an anominous tip about a building ready to collapse, it'll be handled."
MacColter looked at Tom, then his watch," Ryne is right Tom, it's after Midnight. You might be better off going after your friend after a couple hours rest." His reply wasn't meant to be discouragement. He was about to say something else when his cellphone rang. He looked at the caller ID and grinned, walking away as he answered it," Hello Director. No, of course it's not to late..." he trailed off as he walked onto the patio. He did however give a thumbs up after a moment. Then, in a rare show of enthusiasm, he gave a fist pump as he hung up. He was grinning, " Well Isamu, that's one of your concerns taken care of. That was Director Robert Fitzgibbons of SATAR. We have just been officially sanctioned by SCRET. Only one problem, he says the team needs a name."
