Sara was in without any real effort. Inside, she could hear the sobbing down the stairwell. The top floor loft bedroom was empty, except for an unslept in bed.
In the front door, Tom found a similar setting, empty and judging by the dust on the floor, no one had come in this way in some time.
* * * **
" I don't know, December. " Her father replied, starting for the door. " Take your friend back out to the garden with your grandmother. I'll handle this."
He opened the door while Ryne and Deci were still in earshot. " Yes?"
" Sir, sorry to bother you. Do you know the location of the owner of the vehicle parked in front of your home?"
" I'm not sure. Why, is something wrong?" Her father answered in his typical evasive manner.
" Yessir." The police officer said. " The owner is listed in a warrant concerning events that took place in Georgia.They are considered dangerous and not to be approached. Are you sure you don't know their whereabouts?"
" Quite sure I haven't seen him."
The officer paused," I didn't say it was a he, sir. May I come in and have a look around?"
Ryne looked at Deci, but said nothing. He was grinding his teeth.
* * * * *
" Don't tease, girl." Carmine waved Alice off. " You'll have me all hot and bothered."
" Uh.. yeah, thanks again. " Jason said. " I'll be in touch if I need anything else." He quickly left the warehouse.
Without stopping, he kept walking , taking a deep breath," don't you dare laugh." Jason warned, looking down at Alice. He looked at the package. " Need somewheres quiet to check this out."

Deci turns to Ryne as they exit the house. "Well about the only thing we can do is get out of here. I can carry us out but you will lose the vehicle. It is probably better that way as if anything bad happens then there will be damage to the area and my family. Grandmother I know you may not be happy with the situation but I swear this has nothing to do with us. Well it does but not what they are saying. Tell Daddy I will call him!"
With that she grabs Ryne's arms and flies up and over trying to use the house as cover until they get to the beach area. Then using houses as cover flies along the way till they are a fair distance away.

Alice is a picture of wide eyed innocence as she asks Jason, "Why would I laugh?" When Jason says they should head somewhere quiet, she says "We could head back to the base. It's quiet there with most of the team gone."

Isamu doesn't transform. He stays in his normal form as they walk through the house. He looks around trying to see if they can locate where Ragnarok may be.

*the comment is low as she watches then wonders if they have 'authority' to overstep the police and take the man into custody?
*as she wonders she listens carefully, in case the police say something else, but comments quietly to Kristian 'should we call in some bomb threats to draw these officers away?'

" More like EMS to haul them away. He dropped them for the fun of it. We have to play this one carefully." Kristian warned.
" Sorry guys, I'm still looking, but no hits yet. Can't be anything recent." Janie's voice popped in their ears.
The other two officers ran for their vehicle, which took a bolt of lightning just as they shut the doors.

" Stop teasing, it's not funny." Jason said , then scowled. " Not the beachhouse. Dylin will hound me to have the surgery before I'm done."

Isamu and Tom find the front doesn't get used much, and as they got closer, soon saw Rags was using the back entrance.
Everyone inside her another muffled sobbing from one of the middle floors.
* * * * *
" December you are too much like you rlike your father was at your age, before the law degree. Be careful child, and try to find someone your own age." Grandmother scowled as she looked at Ryne.
As they flew, Ryne tensed drastically. " Deci, put me down before I puke." He warned.

Deci comes in for a landing as quick as she can. "I am sorry I did not know you did not like flying but that was the only way I could get us out of there without causing a stir or getting anyone in trouble save me. At least I hope that is how it works." Deci looks around for where they are and then looks to Ryne.

*radio* 'it's older stuff. the picture is a lot younger. he uses elcetricity and just shocked 2 cops and has the other 2 trapped in their vehicle right now ... lord i hope that helps'
*she nods at Kristian and ponders what to do. she checks the ground for rocks or small heavy items that could be thrown. if she throws fast enough he might not see it coming. 'you see any rocks or anything? ... ' *even as her hand touches the ground here and there seeking by touch

Over the radio Sara spoke quietly, "In the house, moving down the stairs."
She kills the power to her sword because of the distinct and constant hum it made. She opens the door to the room and creeps outside into the hall. She carefully prowls towards the stairs, homing in on the sobbing of the young woman inside. Everything was going good so far that Sara pray quietly their luck would continue to hold.

Jason looked at Alice. " This is important too. And you agreed to come help me, remember?"

'Okay, I'm looking Si." Janie replied.
" Here." Kristian offered a couple pieces of broken sidewalk.
From the police unit boomed the loudspeaker. " Stand down, Arc. You are to return with us to headquarters."
Identified as Arc, the older man shook his head." I don't think so. I told Wraith I quit, threats or no threats." To emphasize his point, an arc of lightning pounded the van before the man turned and was walking away.

" It's okay, and I understand." Ryne said. " not hard to tell we were set up. I hope I didn't get your family in too much trouble. But now we have a problem. Without the truck, how do we pick up Sierra and Kristian?"

Tom can sense plenty of metal throughout the house. A couple floors up, he could feel some moving around.
As Angel crept down the steps, the muffled sobs were getting louder. Whoever it was , they were close.

Alice nods quietly as she takes Jason's hand and squeezes it gently. "I know I promised and I am going to help you in any way I can. It is important for you to get this surgery too, though, and I just worry about something happening to you."
