*she takes the cement and closes her eyes and betgs forgiveness from someone. then she throws the debris, aiming for the tires and tries to 'blow' one side out. 'go around the corner as if you're chasing someone .. and come about and try to cut Arc off. maybe he can't fly ... '
*gives Kristian a quick peck on the cheek and uses the car for cover to move further ahead of the police van on HER side of the street

Deci looks up at him. "Well I imagine if worst comes down to it they can always take a cab or something. I imagine we are probably in more of a pickle then they are. Unless we just walk it from here, mind you now I am kinda worried about my father. I guess that will have to check on him later if I can." She returns to her chatter box self as they walk the direction towards the base.
"You know if you have a means back I can head to town hall or whatever, unless you think we should stick together?"

Jason smiled, then spoke softly. " I know, Alice. I'm just scared. If something goes wrong, or it's rigged..., Alice I can't go back to living in that chair again. I got lucky and survived the nightmare that put me there in the first place." He said.
He took a moment, then held out the envelope. " You're the team leader. So you have to decide what we do next. Whatever you say, I'll go along with."

" What I think is you need to relax a little, kiddo." Ryne replied. " There's no way to prove I was there, I made sure I didn't touch anything to leave prints. Besides, he's a lawyer right? Your dad will be fine. Our ride will get towed to impound, and Mac will pull some strings to get it released, but that doesn't do us any good. Wait, where are we...," he looked around, then swallowed hard," Think you can fly up closer to that pier?" he pointed a long ways down the beach," I'm pretty sure there's a rental place a block or two from there. Just don't go too high, okay?"

" Okay. Keep the channel open." Kristian returned the kiss and was gone.
Sierra's first attempt was way off the mark, shattering the side window. As the occupants shouted in suprise, the second found the mark but wasn't enough to knock the tire free.
Janie's voice came back, Arc? are you sure? Sierra be careful, this guy is bad news if he's on Wraith's payroll. I've got nothing in the records except a note on him first being Ided out in Nevada about six months ago, but he seems to stay off the radar "
Kristians voice came next, " Excuse me mon. Can I have a moment. I'd like to speak with you."
The reply could be overheard, " Poor timing kid. " There was a Bzzzt sound, followed by Kristian crying out in pain.

' ... ohshi .. gotta go .. ' *Sierra cuts the conversation and scrambles up the block to see what happened. she'll kill herself if she's gotten Kristian seriously hurt.
*she doesn't care if hte police chase her now, she's sure she can outrun them long enough to get where she needs too. racing up the block she slows enough to dart between 2 cars and across the street and to where she last saw Arc, before coming to a stop and looking about.
*she'll decide what to do when she sees what's happened

Deci follows the request and hops into the air flying low to check and see if there is indeed a car rental place. After scanning to see she returns to Ryne to inform him of her discovery.

Sure enough, Deci does find a car rental place right where Ryne said it would be. Luckily, there weren't many people on the beach and no one noticed her flight.
Ryne nodded as she told him. " Okay, but let's walk, okay?

The police don't give chase, instead taking the opportunity to collect their fellow officers. sierra came around the corner to find Kristian just getting back to his feet. Beyond him was Arc, , his fingers alive with electricity. " Now just walk away and I won't fry you, boy."

"I'm right on top of her, hold on." Sara calls back over the radio as she hurries her pace to the door. She listens signs on the inside of the room/area to see if anyone else was there. Too bad she opted out of augmenting her hearing to the point where she could hear heartbeats; after all, it only took one gun going off to give her a massive migraine.

"Sure we can walk." Deci says as she heads towards the pier and the rental place. "Did you want me to go in and rent us a vehicle or both of us?"
If it is her alone she will head in and get the most environmental car she can that can seat 4 and go pick up Ryne, if it is both then they both go get the vehicle but Ryne will pick.

Alice hugs Jason quietly, partly because she wanted to and partly to hide the look on her face knowing that he hadn't actually survived the accident, realizing that Jason would be able to tell that something was wrong from how pale her face was.
Once she composes herself, she looks up at Jason and asks him quietly, "If we're not going back to the beach house, do you know of a place that is quiet and safe enough for us to go over the information we just received?"

Sara opens the door to see an almost empty room. There was a woman on the far side confined to a chair making sobbing sounds. she didn't acknowledge anyone entering the room, merely sat towards the curtained window, her head down slightly.

" Yeah, maybe I better wait outside." ryne said," Just be sure to get something I'll fit in. Not a lunchbox on wheels like a Prius or something, okay?" He grinned, then walked towards an ice cream vendor to wait.

Deci walks into the rental place and up to the front desk barring no one in line. If there is she will wait her turn.
When she gets to the front, "Hello. I would like to rent a vehicle big enough to carry at least 4 people and one or two of them being fairly large males. Something good on the environment would be nice but if need be I will go for a Mini-Van. A hybrid would be nice and preferably something in blue but that is not all that important!"
Either way she offers her drivers liscence and credit card to secure the vehicle.
If she gets it no problems she will go pick up Ryne in it.

Isamu see's Tom tense, and motions for him to wait. He whispers, "wait till Sara secures your friend, then we will hit him, together," Isamu says looking towards Rags again. "We have to work together," he says still looking at Rags. He pauses, "wait did you say movement upstairs? Is it Sara or someone else?"
