Kendall says, "well you don't have to worry about me. As for Daveris, well, she seems like a good person. If you want to keep her as a friend you may have to take a chance and trust her. Thats what friendship is, trust. I wouldn't worry about the show. Unless there rules specifically stated no abilities, they can't do anything to you about yours."

Most of these shows are based off of how popular you are with the rest of the people and if it gets out that I am a" She drops her voice to a whisper and leans in to talk "mutant. Then what are my chances, I mean at that point I would probably have to announce that I am joining the Cavaliers or something!" She leans back to see in his eye if he knows what she means!

"I really am not sure what I want to do. I only know what I want to do right now which is perform. After the event I might be inclined to go one way or the other. But right now I am not so sure." She sighs heavily as this is something that just adds to the pressure of her life and not what she needs right now.

"I am not sure, I don't generally need to use the bathroom unless I actually consume something. But it is possible something is up. I will give it one more minute and then go check where she is. It is either that or she hopes we hook up knowing her mind."
Mei also starts glancing at the bathroom now almost curious but sure that is why she is taking her time.

After tuning out the din of the restaurant, Kendall hears Daveris chatting with someone, possibly about the show. It seemed cordial. She was held up at the bar.
Mei doesn't see Daveris coming back from the bathroom, yet.

"Oh ok, well that is cool then." Mei stops to start scanning for her. Not because there is trouble or anything but to see what is up and there is a possibility of her needing a wing person or the likes. Once she is spotted (if she is) she will turn to Kendall "So what else can you tell me about yourself?"

Mei sits there happy that Daveris is off apparently meeting a male. But then turns her attention back to Kendall in hopes that he will answer her question. Especially now that her olive branch has been extended fully to him. But if he is staring off at Daveris then she will scan his eyes to try to ascertain if it is lust or just curiosity!

Hearing that Devaris was ok, Kendall never even looked towards the bar. He shrugs at Mei. He says, "not sure what you want to know. I was in the military, I liked serving my country. Wanted a change of pace though, so when my time was up, came to CS and put some of the things the military taught me to use. The telecom stuff, not the killing and subduing."

I figured especially after my powers appeared that they would only want to experiment with me anyhow. But telecom stuff sounds um....interesting. Actually I am kidding as I did double specialize in communications as well so I had something to fall back on just in case. It also still allows me to stay in the industry!" Trying to point out that they may have more in common then can be first thought of!
