Issue 4: Hunting an old friend ( Cap & DD)

"Take the couch, you need the rest more than I do. And I'm not a sidekick person. You're a partner. " Cap flashes that one smile he has, that reminds you that he's not really of this time.

As he changes, Matt could hear the woman shutting things off and then goes up the stairs and into one of the rooms. Clearly she had only stayed up because he was on his way. As he stepped outside, he was met by the cold briskness of the night again, but what little wind there was had died out. Each footstep crunched in the snow and sent tiny shockwaves of sound that DD could 'watch' roll acrossed the ground. the crawlers tracks were easy enough to followback out of town to where a pair of footprint intersected with them and led back towards the houses.

Tabitha nodded, and didn't take much encouragement to crawl under the sleeping bag. As she rolled away, she said," You know you really do have a gift for telling people what they need to hear." Before long, there was a light snoring coming from Tabitha.

Cap lays back in the chair and tries to rest as best he can, but his senses still keenly alert to any possible trouble.

[Dome]

DD follows the tracks all the way to the place Cap and the woman took up residence for the night. In this weather he knows that the place will be closed up, so he could attempt to break in, or simply knock. Choosing the latter, he makes his way to the door and simply knocks.

Tabitha was sound asleep, and didn't hear the knock. Neither did the old man who lived there, but his two husky barked at the sudden noise.

Cap gets up, and approaches the door, looking rather perplexed.

[Dome]

DD tries to pinpoint where the girl and Captain America are in the room. He knows they had a long day fighting the creature, and the crash, but he also knows he needs to make contact now. He reaches out with his senses, and when he can find there location he will find a way to make his way inside.

But hearing Cap approach the door, he says in raised whisper, "Captain America, Black Widow sent me."

Captain America opens the door, and is even more perplexed by the sight of Daredevil. "It's cold out there, come in." as he gestures for the man to come in. "I know you and Natasha have a ...history." Cap tries to put it as lightly as possible. "That said, it's good to see another friendly face. Any word on the recovery efforts?"

[Dome]

"Thank you," says DD as he walks into the room. "I don't know exactly. I know she is using all her resources, thats why you get me. She asked me to come out and see if could make contact with anyone. I heard you were in the area, so knew to come find you."

[dakota]

Tabitha stirred, but didn't wake. She was again talking in her sleep, and Cap recognized it from before. Tab was having the same nightmares, but it wasn't as bad without effects of the hypothermia.

[Dome]

"Whats with her," DD says thumbing over his shoulder at the girl in the bed.

Captain America nods. "Well, we're not going anywhere for tonight. You might as well make yourself comfortable."

Cap answers. "That's a long story, and not mine to tell, sir."

[Dome]

"Well you look like you need the rest. Why don't you get some rest and I'll keep lookout."

Cap nods as he tries to lie back and rest.

[Dome]

Daredevil walks towards the window as if he is looking outside. He scans the area with his radar while the others rest.
