The rest of the night passes quietly, except for Tabitha's stirrings. By 5AM slivers of light are starting to peek through the drawn curtains over the couch. One of them reflected off a picture on the wall back into Tab's face. Without moving, she asked nervously," Captain?Captain, are you awake? Why is there a guy wearing a halloween getup looking out the window?"

Steve's eyes open effortlessly. "His name is Daredevil. He was standing watch. You need a rest?" He looks to the red-clad vigilante.

THe Sentinel of Liberty rises to his feet and stretches. "The Helicarrier was commandeered by the Brood - alien parasites. We also had some kind of extra-dimensional incursion to top it off. We Had to scuttle the Helicarrier some distance back." as he gives the location "where Fury is with the remaining SHIELD agents. We also tried to track down any loose Brood or AIM or other extra-dimensionals here. Instead we encountered the Wendigo."

" You make us sound so ominous referring to our team like that." Tabitha said as she got up and grabbed her coat. " And technically, the Exiles are an interdimensional team. I'm Tabitha," she turned her attention to DD," but I go by Ghostsabre." she still looked a little run down, and to Daredevil, she reminded him alot of one of the X-men, Kitty Pryde.

He turns to the girl, "I'm Daredevil. Have we met before? You seem familiar."

DD retreived what he needed and returned without incident. In fact there were no signs of life stirring in town as of yet as he returned to the shack Tab and Cap had spent the night in. Tab looked to Cap as she pulled on a pair of gloves," I'm guessing you two are going to start checking for our survivor while I so some backtracking and catch up with you later?" It was clear Tab was having issues with relinquishing her leadership role.

Cap hesitates for a moment. "Alright, go ahead. We'll let you know what we turn up."

Tabitha got a bit of a suprised look, and she couldn't hide from her voice. " Really? no I better come with, or wait and we'll go together?" Her tone turned cocky." Cool. I'll look for the two of you when I get back to town. If I can't find you, where do you want me to meet you?" she was already heading for the door. " you know that wouldn't be a problem if you Defenders wore communicators like X-men do."

Cap nods. "Just don't take very long, and we'll meet at the edge of town. And I'm an Avenger, not a Defender. And..." He squints as he looks at Daredevil. "I don't think Daredevil is normally a team person. In fact, there were several times when you turned down membership, as I recall."

" Defender, Avenger, whatever, you knew what I meant." Tabitha's smirk grew. " You boys play nice without me, I'll see you in a few hours." She didn't bother to open the door, and simply slipped out through it.
