Kiadan shakes her head as the captain mentions slave labor. "I've no desire to have slaves," Kiadan responds. "But given the nature of morality you have to accept the unpleasant that given an opportunity those you want to fight might oppress and use them against us," she responds. "I'm here for your scientific needs; so I am only advising based on what I would do if I were less them moral," she says. Completely ignoring the fact that she wishes to perform experiments upon the populace below.

Slycer pats you on the shoulder. "Ah, don't worry so much kid, you're just fine."
(Kiadan and Solaxis)
An officer hands a datapad to the Captain. "The probe just turned out some new and interesting readings. You'll want to take a look at this, both of you" as he hands it to you. On the printout you see readings showing that in the northern wastelands that show barely any lifesigns, there are strange energy readings far more powerful and complex than anything the planet's inhabitants are likely to have created.

Flitting to land on Solaxis's shoulder Kiadan looks the data over arching a small draconic eyebrow. "This bares further investigation," she says. "Why was this missed in the initial readings, perhaps our foes are hear already," she muses.

" And if something happens, I can count on you to have my back." Balus nodded, doubling up a cinderblock sized hand and holding it out for a fist tap. " Odds are we'll be getting to work sooner than later if we getting briefed already, partner. Guess we better get our gear prepped."

Captain Roben looks at her. "This area of the planet appears virtually uninhabited, so that works to our advantage. Dr. Kiadan, I'm assigning you an engineering team to accompany you to survey this area of the planet and find out what is going on. I'll also be assigning you a security escort to keep you safe."
(Balus)
Slycer gets a sour look. "Look out kid, here comes the Fuse" He gestures to a grim-looking man in a clean pressed Lieutenant's uniform.
(Fuse)
You've been assigned to lead the security detail on the expidition to the northern tip of the first planet you've discovered. You know Slycer as a wiseass Corporal but who is good in a fight, and you've heard of Balus, the poster-boy Biofreak who's been used on a lot of government propoganda but not a lot of field experience.
(Krystal)
You've been assigned to Dr. Kiadan's survey team.

Having not a chance to report to Kiadan, Krystal turns on her feet and follows her out talking aimlessly to the closest male she knows.
"Well I guessing having never worked with her before we are to follow her? Is she always this abrupt?"

“Corporal Slycer and Mr. Walkir, we have security detail for Doctor Kiadan’s engineering team” he salute and gestures for the two stand at ease “the area is uninhabited I don’t expect much trouble but be on your guard and ready for anything.” He turns to wait for the doctor’s arrival “Get ready we leave when the good Doctor arrives”

Kiadan leads her engineering team into the launch bay where the security team is prepping up.

he says walking towards the Doctor to cheak in "Doctor Kiadan, I'm Lieutenant T’kell Reenok I will be heading up your security detail" he salutes the Doctor Kiadan settles her small body onto something close to eye level to check out the security forces. Her eyes critical as she examines each one. "Yes..." she mutters. "I suppose this batch will do fine." She blinks her eyes and stares at the Lieutenant for a second apparently lost in her own thoughts. "Please, just Doctor. I do not believe there is a need for this security, but. If you happen to see one of the sentients be sure to down it and bring it to me for study. Understood? Preferably alive but I understand that we might have to kill one to adhere to your captain's policy of non interference." Her gaze slides over each of the members coolly checking each one of them as if they might be future experiments in her lab. |
