Sam takes cover and starts to yell into her radio "Hold your fire! We're CS Troops on a mission to rescue captured soldiers! We're on the same side!"

"Hold your fire! I'm CS!" Mary yells, running away from the debris. "I was ambushed and separated from my group." She says, staying in clear view.

Ellie stumbles back from the confusion going on hin her head. Grasping her head she kneels down. Looking around Ellie notices the Lt and Sgt. Smith aren't around. "Shep, where's the Lt and Sgt. Smith?"

" They went topside to try to talk our way out of this mess. Probably get themselves shot in the process. We're heading out shortly, whether they get back or not." Shepherd replied, giving the last of his rations and water to some of the children. Rhys and Dyson follow his lead.
" Hold your position!" A voice boomed over a loudspeaker at Marianna. " Drop your weapons. If you're CS, what is your unit's designation and your designation?" No more shots came.
" The last traitors we caught claimed the same thing. Funny how they were freed from a holding facility with a bunch of no good d-bee scum." The officer transmitted back. " Now, nice and slow, drop your weapons and lie on the ground, face down."

Upon hearing the demand, Mary shoulders her rifle, and chuckles. "What is your rank soldier?" She asks, calmly. "I am forbidden to release information unless certain rank requirements are met. As for my unit, I am on special loan from Psi-Bat. How about you?"

" Wrong answer, lady. Now drop the hardware." The leader of the half dozen or so CS troopers taking cover stated. " We won't be giving you a third chance."

"Wrong. It's you who's not getting the next chance." She says. "Identify yourselves, and explain to me why General Sykes has sent troops to directly engage Colonel Wallace's CS troops? I have been sent to identify those betraying the CS. I would hate to say that it is a General taking advantage of innocent CS troops."

The soldiers kind of look at each other as Marianna starts dropping names. " Who's Col. Wallace?" The Lt in charge asked. " Look, the only traitors here are those who broke a couple of turncoats out of our detention facility and came this way. And you fit the bill, lady."

Sam slowly puts down her rifle as she continues in a calm voice "My name is Lt Fraser. I am here on a rescue mission to recovered captured CS Troops. If you check with Colonel Wallace over at the base in CS Colorado (OOC: I think that's where they were at the beginning) he will confirm my story and rank." Sam slowly raises her hands after putting her rifle on the ground but does not lay down face first as she continues to talk calmly "This is all a mis-understanding, one that can be cleared up very quickly."

Shepherd looked over at Lobo. " Just keep flapping your yap, juicer. I dealt with plenty of your kind in Newtown. One more wouldn't phase me." He turned his attention to Lesa. " I want you to start taking everyone towards the south tunnel exit."
" what about Daryn?" She replied.
" I'll find him." shepherd replied. " now go, we need all the head start we can get."
" You know what, I've had enough of your lip, [*insert derogatory comment*]." The luietenant snapped at Marianna. " Take her down." He ordered and two of his soldiers shouldered their rifles and began to advanced on her, the others keeping their weapons trained.
" Colorado? There's no operations out of that area. That project was scrapped." The officer leading the patrol told Sam. " but you can tell us all about it back at our base. Men, take her into custody, so we can clear up her misunderstanding for her."

Sam nods "Very well. We will get this misunderstanding cleared up and we can work together to get our wounded CS soldiers home. Who is your commanding officer?" Sam continues to talk in the same calm voice and makes no attempt to move as she waits for the men to come over to where she is.

"I am Lieutennant Marianna Smith, Psi-Bat, Lone Star Detatchment. I have been ordered to this region to identify, specifically a spy ring of CS traitors. Now, unless you can convince me that Sung is no traitor, here and now, then I'm sorry to say, you'll all be dead before you can call for help. I'm sure Gantry's mentioned me. Well, before he turned chicken on you, too."
Mariana says, in a cool, clear voice.
She applies just enough pressure to one of the advancer's rifles to let him know the safety's on. "I can do worse to you and your men, and all in the name of CS National Security. So, you will want to excercise caution in your next decision."

" We'll be asking the questions, ma'am." One of the soldiers said lowly as he began to take her weapons. He pulled her arms behind her back and tie strapped them together. " For now all you have to concern yourself with is that you are a CS prisoner of war under suspicion of treason."
" Look, I don't care if you're General Underhill's granddaughter."The platton offcer barked at Marianna. " You're coming with us. When your interrogation is finished, maybe we can clear things up for you. And by the way, Lt. Gantry is on detached duty, with orders to infiltrate the traitors last I heard. Funny that you'd know him." One of the approaching soldiers reached for her rifle, the other grabbibng for her pack.
