" Jeez Allie, I was starting to wonder if you still there. Oh,,,. [giggle] I didn't catch you in the middle of anything, did I? Sorry, but Isamu wanted me to call. MacColter's here and we've got another problem. The Atlanta team got wiped out by it's own leader.
Jason didn't move and Tyler finally took a seat while Null merely stood, eyeing Alice as if daring her to try something foolish.

Alice doesn't have to pretend when her face falls upon hearing what had happened. "Oh no, that's awful." she says quietly "I'm so sorry your aunt is sick." Alice uses the code that she and Jane have used in the past to try to avoid bad dates, and lets her know someone is there that she can't really talk in front of. She knows it will confuse Jane, but hopes it would confuse her enough to mention it to the others and would remember why they used the code in the first place. "We'll try to get down as soon as we can, ok?"

Null was starting towards Alice, but Tyler moved to draw his attention and stop the advance.

Alice rushes to get off the phone, "We'll be back as soon as we can. Give Aunt Bea a hug for me." She then quickly hands up the phone and moves back to where Jason is. She doesn't have to pretend to be nervous as she really is as she takes Jason's hand and looks at Nul. "So, now what?"

" Well that's easy my dear." Null replied. " You can walk away, I have no quarrel with you. And once you do," his gaze shifted to Jason," I repay an old debt you need not witness. Be on your way, and don't come back."
As he said that, Jason's grip on Alice's hand got tighter.

Alice shakes her head as she holds Jason's hand. "Jason didn't do anything to hurt you. I'm not leaving." She is a little nervous, knowing if she gets hurt she really could die since Null could stop her from using her healing ability but wouldn't feel right just leaving him to be killed.

" Another stubborn one." Null scowled. As he did, alice thought she picked up on something about him ( make perc check)
As Null turned his attention to Tyler for a moment, Jason whispered in Alice's ear. " Can you read my mind still?"

Alice briefly glances back at Jason and half-shrugs, trying to not draw Nullifier's attention as she tries to read Jason's mind.

As she touched Jason's mind, she heard he was thinking the same thing she had picked up on herself, When he's distracted, he can't hold his field. We need to distract him.
Tyler continued to antagonize Null, who then buttstroked the older brother. Tyler slumped to the floor. The field preventing thier powers seemed to flicker as Jason shot to his feet with his incredible speed in dismay, but Null recovered before Jason could act. " Sit down, boy. Or I will make you watch me finish him off first."

Alice winces as Tyler gets hits with Null's shotgun and looks around for anything she can use to psychically throw at Null's head, though she holds off because she doesn't want to be responsible for Tyler's getting shot.

Alice still had enough contact with Jason's mind to know he was planning something. " Why? he argued. " If you weren't such a coward, you'd..."
Null swung to face Jason, seething as he cut him off," Go ahead, finish that."
Jason's eyes narrowed, " If you weren't such a cowardly little man, you'd stop hiding behind that bomb. If you were truly that fanatic, you'd have done it already."
Null was truly getting upset, the barrel waivering in his grip away from Tyler on the floor.

Alice uses the opportunity to use her psionics to knock the shotgun out of Nul's grasp (strike: 11) as she adds her jeers to Jason's. "He's right you know. You're nothing but a bully and a coward."

The gun was knocked away, but not free. Again, the hold slacked for a split second. " You know what, you can't hurt me anyways." He dropped the field, and Jason started to step towards null. " Oh, I forgot to tell you that the bomb strapped to me is deadman switched. You can't remove it. And I doubt you'll run away without your brother or girlfriend." Null cackled, as Jason ground his teeth.
