Alice's eyes widen a little as she backs up involuntarily. She sends a message to Jason telepathically 'Ok... what do we do now?'

I was hoping my team leader had an idea. Alice could read from Jason as Null began to gloat. " You kids don't get it, do you? I win, that's all there is to it."

A smirk appears on Alice's face as she telepathically replies 'Oh yeah. We're so screwed. Just go with me on what I'm about to do, o.k.?' Sighing, she shrugs and says to Null "Fine. You win. Happy now?" She then moves back over to the chair and sits down. "If there's nothing more I can do, no sense in freaking out then is there?" She really hopes the others are on their way to the cabin and that she's not about to kill them all.

Jason is caught offguard, but his dazed look faded quickly and he sat next to Alice.
Null laughed. " Now you're trying to take the fun out of this. I never expected a quitter."
[Outside]
As the portal open and the five stepped through, the yard ssemed peacefully quiet. Too quiet in fact.

Solomon tells the others in his invisible state "don't worry about hitting me. I'll hang back, so don't hold back. I'm heading over to the window to get a better look" as he moves toward the cabin

As they walk through the portal, Isamu stops the others and looks around to try and assess the situation. "We must be careful," he whispers, "if Alice replied as if under duress he must have some way of threatening them."

Alice shrugs at Null. "From the way it looks, you're going to kill us no matter what we do. I'm not going to make it fun for you by begging and crying. It seems like you'd get off on that."

Alice smiles innocently at Null. "Who, me? Up to something. Nah!" As she is saying this, she feels out with her psionic powers, hoping the others are nearby.

As she reached out, Alice could sense the others. Curiously, she couldn't sense Nullifier.
" We shall see." Null replied, and his meta blocking field went back up.

Solomon tried to weave a spell as quielty as possible, hoping his whispers couldn't be heard inside from outside as he attempted to suppress Null's psyche (Trance)

Alice looks at Null curiously. "I'm curious," she says to him, not really expecting him to answer, but figures it never hurts to ask. "Why can't I sense you?" She explains "I can sense Jason here and Tyson with my psychic powers, but I was wondering why I couldn't sense you? Is it because of your mutant cancelling ability?"
As she babbles, she telepathically sends to the others that she can sense outside. 'Be careful. Null has a bomb that has a deadman switch on it attached to his body.'

Isamu approaches the house quietly signaling the others to do the same. He stops when he hears Alice's voice in his head. He looks at the others and whispers to Ashley, "we need him to come outside."
