" My what?" Shep looked half puzzled, then raised an eyebrow. " You mean Lyna and Daryn? They're aren't family. A good friend asked me to look out for them just before he was killed in the Newtown campaign. So i brought them out here to be safe. Then all this crazyness started after Tolkeen fell. So I owe it to them. And I don't know who has our men, but I'm going after villagers. You can do what you want, I was never supposed to stay with the squad this long anyways.

Koor turns to face Rhys as he attempts to sneak in undetected. " Another one." He snorts. " You Coalition are worse than rabbits. Where ever there is one, more are sure to turn up."

Koor sneered at Rhys before turning his head slowly to look at each member of the group. " Help. You humans have caused me enough greif as it is."
With that a slight smirk creeps on his face as he begins to chant in some forgotten language, raising his arms over his head as he did so.

At the sound of chanting, Dyson sidesteps the tree behind him, turns, and runs into the brush, diving to the ground if any sort of climax that would be obvious to the magically ignorant comes in the chanting.
OOC: If the Co. doesn't run then Dyson will just quickly pull back to the edge of the clearing.
Is there room around Koor for Dyson to throw a plasma grenade at him without hitting any team members?

Shep followed Mariana quietly towards the others as they came within hearing range of Koor's chanting, who's voice has been elevated as he continues.

Mendez says aloud;" Koor you have 2 choices here. You can act on your misguided belief this is our fault attempt to do us harm. Or you can help us get your people, and my man mikey back. now whats it going to be, are you going to be your towns avenger and settle for cheap vengence, or are you going to live up to your title as protector and keeper of your towns folk and let us help you." mendez lowers his weapon but switches it to full auto.

"Sorry." *Mary cringed, as she pulled out her pistol, and aimed for Koor's foot... shooting a single blast* "I asked nicely." *And, as the blast leaves the pistol, she figures the sky'll look really pretty as she's flung headlong to god-knows-where.*

Dyson grasps for an appropriate curse as Koor's chanting grows louder and Smith draws her pistol and fires. No entirely fitting curse enters his mind as he grabs his only plasma grenade, pulls the pin, and hurls it at Koor. Dyson turns and throws himself as far as he can.
Just as he hits the ground Dyson thinks *that's it, this whole thing is dragon-*, but his thought is broken by the thud, and imagined inferno, of the plasma grenade.
OOC: Dakota, do plasma grenades make a thud in your game?
Roll to hit=16. grenade has 12' area. damage roll=15 MDC.
