Seeing his men open fire on the Dragon, Mendez Decides to back his team. He Raises his rifle and fires a full melee burst at the dragons mouth;
( rolled a 19 + 5 = 24)( Damage= 2d6=11*?, is a full melee burst times 10 or 20 ? if its times 10 then 110 md if its times 20 then 220 md.

The shot from Mariana's pistol spurred Koor back to reality in time to see Dyson lob the grenade. Lunging forward a bit, the dragon caught the grenade( parry = 19) and tossed it over his shoulder in a single motion, causing it to explode harmlessly behind him. He glared at his assailants. " You impetuous fools. I sho..." His threat was cut short by a roar of agony as Mendez's burst struck home, causing his head to snap away.
The dragon turned back, cracking his jaw as he glared at Mendez and began to metamorph back to his natural form. " That was stupid, human."

"Wait! Just... friggen wait!" *Yells Mariana, waving Mendez to lower his rifle* "Nobody else tries to kill the being of unimaginable power. Got it?"
*She tries to get Koor's attention. "So, you didn't kill me. Why?" *She asks sweetly, but not with derision*

Mendez Loads another clip and says to Koor;" I didn’t even put a dent in you, did I? “Mendez is visibly unnerved by the realization he is actually a mosquito to this thing.”Hmm..." he thinks to himself (i wonder if we could come up with a bio weapon that can harm them like west nile, or malaria. Maybe even some sort of supernatural auto immune deficiency? nah) he thinks (playing god is what got us to this present state of the world) snapping out of his train of thought he calls over the radio;" Ellie, Shep, what’s your 20...over."

Dyson rolls off of his stomach, stands up, and looks over the intervening shrubbery at Koor, back in dragon form. He then slowly side steps up to a tree, listening to the others and waiting for things to play out more.

Koor raises his head, his huge lips curling to a fanged smirk at Mariana's comment. " There are only two types of humans. Living and dead. Which way they are better off," He turned and looked at Mendez," ... you don't want my opinion. Trust me, I felt it for a moment." He rubbed his jaw his his claw.
When Ellie turns Shep is nowheres to be seen and there is no answer to the Colonel's radio call.
Koor's eyes narrowed as his head swung back to Mariana. " who are you calling an idiot?"

The only reply from Koor was a deep throated "Hmmph" as he he turned his head slowly to look at each of the other, as if awaiting their next move.

It doesn't take her long to pick up Shepherd's trail that also backtracked, back towards the village's ruins.
