As Koor lands Dyson backs up, Surprising himself when he backs into a tree. After Koor speaks, Dyson flicks on the 80 decibel loud speaker built into his armor and says, slowly, in what would be have been a quiet voice, indeterminately between rage and terror "That wasn't my fault." Dyson gets a tighter grip on his C-27, "Most of us didn't even know there was a village out here until we found it. I had no idea anything we could do would get them killed. And we tried to help when we saw the smoke." Speaking slower now, "I would have died to stop the killing. Worm, killing us won't do a damn thing more than maybe make you feel better about what non of us could stop."
Dyson presses his back flat to the tree and raises his faceplate to look at Koor's now human face, but his own face, of course, is entirely obscured by the black death's head of the Coalition.
