Replies over radio secured frequency to mendez, "No luck with salvaging the guns but both bunkers have been destroyed." As Rhys continues to move in the direction of the enemy soldiers still moving stealthily and silently.

OOC: Did Mendez stop after Smith stopped? Are they in the same area? If so, then Rhys would be there, right?
I've reviewed previous posts trying to figure this out, but I want to be clear on where everyone thinks their characters are.
Dyson stuck with the Col. wherever he went. I don't know if we stopped in sight of Smith though.

OOC: Mendez and Dyson have stopped, Rhys insists on continueing tracking... Mariana probably did lose visual contact through the trees, but a blind man from Chi-town could find their tracks  . Shep and Ellie are bootin' it from the village. I think that's it... (red-tags it) |

*As Shep and Ellie enter the forest, Mariana joins them from behind a tree* "I can take Shep from here, Ellie. Go let Mendez know we need to regroup." *She says, moving to take over support of Shep, and pointing the direction they had taken.*

Ellie looks at Mariana as she moves out from behind the tree. As Mariana says "she'll take Shep from here" she gives Shep a questioning look and sees if he agrees and if so she will join the others. If not she will say "I have to make sure hes alright first and I think he should stay in my custody till he is doing better."

" What the hell are you talking about? " Shep replies half annoyed, plenty loud that Ellie can hear as she departs. He stops and stares at her, leaning against a tree. " There has only been one mission since day one, and it's no wild goose chase. Whats gotten into you? And where's my pack?"
[Mendez, Rhys, Dyson]
The rattling engine continues to move away at a steady pace before anyone got more than a glimpse of an APC of some sort. The roar of the circling SAMAS began to grow louder as they began another pass, but broke off at the last moment and veered south and throttled out of range at the last moment. The sky overhead is suddenly filled with the flapping of wings as Koor's massive visage hovered above for a moment before landing in front of them with a crash. " This is your fault, Coalition." He roared, transforming back to his humanoid facade.

As Ellie is walking away from Shep and Mariana she hears the flapping of Koor's wings and the earth shattering crash as he lands. She turns back to Shep "Shep, we're gonna need you up here if Sgt. Smith doesn't mind..." With that she heads to Mendez and the others at a quickened pace (ie Running:))

" Be there in a minute, Ellie." He shouted before turning to Mariana. " By the kid... You did what?" Shep's voice took a hateful tone. " You're telling me my pack just got vaped by those Sams because you were too lazy to hold on to it for me? And don't tell me I'm getting old, psi brat," he snapped, jabbing a finger in her chestplate," just because I've let you have the upper hand doesn't mean you want to push your luck."
