Mendez looks at the tree line where the smoke is coming from and responds to Shep”s” oh no”;" what is it?”<br>
Then he hands the pc back to ellie and says;" the files have been erased either by Mikey or gantry. I figure one or both of them have been playing us from the start. Thing is, these files are encrypted. You either have to be an experienced hacker to get in, or have high security clearance in order to be able to erase them. Now what was your read on Mikey?"
Mendez then crouches low and says;" Fan out everyone, at least 10 meter intervals."

Shepherd looked at the Colonel and answered lowly. " Westvale." as a roar of fury escaped Koor.
Koor's roar continued as his true form seemed to bust from his human metamorphisis. Pausing a moment to glare at Shepherd, the Great Horned Dragon lept to the sky and disappeared over the treeline as Shepherd called after him. " It's not my fault!"
With the dragon gone, Shepherd looked at the others. " Well folks, we've got two choices. Go back and help or get out of doge. Either way, he's gonna blame us." He begins to gather his gear, readying himself for a hasty departure.

*Mariana finally clues into something* "Well, at least your plans there won't matter much. Now, if we're not helping Westvale, as our good Sgt, here, seems to advocate, might I recommend reviving the trail to Sprite's (being clearly a enunciated word) men to find those troops?" *As she walks back to a different 10m interval, shrinks it to 9.5...* "Why 10?" *shrugs, and walks over to Shep and whispers in his ear, almost sultrily, but still so low only Shep, being close, or Mikey, could hear.*"And yes, we do need to have a little chat, like which mission means the most to you."
*She separates from Shep and moves to a safer position, as a small rock lands on his shoulder and bounces off with an audible clunk.*

" What does Koor being mad at us mean. Is it going to kill us if we stick around, even if we try to defend Westvale?" Dyson says to Shep, trying to be relatively quiet.
Dyson turns to the Col. and says in a similarly hushed voice " At the moment we don't even have an idea of where the other squad members we're looking for are. Right now we could at least try to get some of the people out of Westvale even if we don't have the fire power to defend the place." his voice almost has a pleading tone at the end.

Moving into positon at the aproximately 30ft interval as he checks his weapon. "I think we should head back to town and see what we can do to aid the people of Westvale." As he arches a brow at Mariana's comment to Shep but since he is wearing his helmet it goes unseen.
(Yes Rhys does have amped hearing)

"30 ft is enough to keep us from getting caught in most weapons fire and explosive's blast radius if one of us is to get fired upon." Mendez answers mariana.
" Shep, I know you have a vested interest in westvale, i'm not oppossed to lending a hand. unless you think koor can handle it."

Ellie looks up suddenly as if not listening to anything that has just happened. "Sir, Mikey isn't....ok. Hes being carried by some sort of vehicle. Hes in a gurney and strapped down. Some of his Borg parts are missing also....I dont know if he's being contained there or not, but the starps look strong." She looks around to shep and the others. "Sir, I dont know where they are taking him or where they are. But they are in a vehicle."

"Actually Ma'am I need to focus on a picture of the person I am trying to look at. I have a near photographic memory and its never helped with this ability. It doesn't have to be in a computer it just have to be an image of the person." Ellie says slightly defensive.

" It's not if he can handle it I"m worried about. He tends to have a bit of a temper when someone messes with his village." Shep replied as he gave Mariana a ' nevermind' look and mouthed ' I'll explain later'.
He turned to face the the colonel. " Thank you, sir. Rhys you've got point, I've got the back door. Let's go, people."

*Mariana pulls out an old FMP, and a pencil, and after a moment's drawing, rips the paper from the pad, and hand a crudely-drawn face of Gantry, with little blemishes, etc.* "Here." *She says, calmly, encouragingly* "And if you've got the memory, you should learn to draw. Computers aren't always your friend." *She waves the FMP* "The old empires had something with these."
*As the group gets moving, Mariana walks near to Ellie and Mendez.*

Mendez looks back at Dyson and says;" Fall in soldier, and if you can during the fight, asses koors strengths and weaknesses. Just incase he turns on us."
then he turns to Mariana;" Sergeant Smith, scout ahead, Rhys is about as quiet as a monster rhino in a china shop." OOC. If i remember correctly, marc said Rhys had no prowl skill. “Before you go sergeant, do you have that memory chip i gave you with all of the team's dossiers. Gantry's info. and picture is on it. If you do have it I’ll need it back so Ellie can get a read on him."

Cause, if we're going to Westvale, I think Rhys is better suited up front. If it's to find the trail I found, I recommend both myself and Shep being in front. And, if it's anything else, I'm as useul to you as Gantry's file on Ellie's machine... hey, what does it say about me, by the way? Am I still dead?"
