The cruise only lasted about 12 hours. Tawfeek didn't want the engines over stressed, and was in no hurry.
About an hour out from Freedom, Tawfeek let the others get settled while he made sure the ship stayed on course. A nice sleep and protein breakfast after that, they all get the announcement: "This is the Captain. W are approaching Laika, and have received advanced clearance. We will be arriving in the docking range in an hour. Until then, anyone who wants a view, please report to the bridge."

Mengsk came to the bridge and looked for the engineering station. he observed the station trying to identify the type and lay out. as he responded.
"Looks like a nice place to visit. I take we have business here, Picking up or droping off?" he took a seat at the engineering station if there was one. (Picture Christopher Eccleston in the New Doctor who series.)

Tawfeek looks at Mensk in that "if you haven't figured it out, yet, keep working at it" look, coupled with a "I'm the captain, if you need details, they will be provided" look.
Mensk finds the engineering station in the lower area, nearer to the front. By the looks of things, it rarely gets used.

"Ahh business." he tapped a few keys and let the computer do the work. he could satify curiosity later.
taking the engineering station and settling in. He could respect the captains reply he gave it himself to many lesseer personel atthe company.

McKenna coudn't pass up the captain's offer, and she made her way to the bridge. once there, she stood out of the way and watched out the viewport, quiet so she didn't disturb anyone actually working.

Flip continues to maneuver the ship towards the assign docking area. He keeps an eye on all the traffic that may be around them prepared to make adjustments should anything cross their path.

(Remember: skill rolls please!!!)
Those looking over the Galaxy's twin bow saw... a bit metal log. Ver big... kinf od loggish, but not really floating space wood. There were dozens of speckles around the huge station, some, as the move in the oposite direction turn out to be fairly large freighters. Laika, like the book says, is a major manufacturer of ships, hence why it never stopped spinning: lower cost with centrifugal gravity, and it kept the core at a natural zero-G.

" It's way different from Freedom." MacKenzie said, looking out. she had never been to Laika before.

Flip makes any course adjustments needed as they approach the station.
Sensory Equipment = 45% roll = 57% Pilot: Spacecraft: Heavy = 60% roll = 9%

Jessica stands next to McKenna with a polite smile as she nods. "It is. I've been here before. It takes some getting used to, but it is a nice city."

McKenna hadn't heard Jessica's approach. " It is? I always heard alot of negative stuff about the Laikans."

Tawfeek barely turned to McKenna. "And they've heard a lot of negative stuff about Freedom Station. You want to get your job done here, you're better off not even bringing either up."
Eventually, Foreman gets notification from Laika to release control so that the station can manage the final approach vector.

Jessica nods at McKenna with a polite smile. "The Captain does have a point." she replies. "You'll hear bad things about any place you could go if you talk to the right people. You really won't know until you get to see the place for yourself."

" I didn't say I beleived any of it." McKenna tried to not sound miffed as she folded her arms. " I've heard lots of negatives about Freedom too,," she smirked," and I beleive most of those."

"Either way." Tawfeek says. "And this goes for the rest of you. Nationality doesn't matter. It's all potential clients, or potential dealers. Whatever rumours you hear, ignore them. Be cautious with what's in front of you, not what you hear second hand. Stephens, when we dock, take the doctor in for the basic supplies. Mensk, I'll need you to go over the space-worthiness of the engines, the next trip is a dousy. And Foreman, I'll need the fastest trip to the moon."
