"You girls be back in an hour." Tawfeek said as the ship shuddered into a lock. Pressing a button on the bridge, Tawfeek headed to suit up and deal with the cargo.

Foreman nods at the captain and turns to the nav console to begin plotting a trip away from the station and towards the moon, pausing before he even starts he says, "Um, which moon Captain, there alot out here in space."

"Don't get smart." Tawfeek calls back as he disappears into the ship, leaving Foreman alone with Mensk.
(On Laika)
McKenna and Stephens, having identified with port control that they were there to purchase emergency medical supplies for the ship (and McKenna hurling credentials at them), were directed to a specific list of suppliers and found one of them to be able to do business with them.

Jessica nods at McKenna and says "I've worked with him many times over the last 3-4 years." Jessica smiles "Ok, MJ. People call me Jesse or Jess." She watches quietly as they purchase the medical supplies they need for the ship.

(Laika) "Da, OK." says the Laikan operator, in Russian English... Russlish? Anyways... "I can get most items on list, but not all. For remainder, I can order, with 50% deposit, da? Several weeks to obtain, shipping from Euro Station. May be cheaper you look there?" As it was, the items on the list were coming close to the budget Tawfeek had implied. Jessica would remember such deposits being common place, especially for rare items... but was it worth the investment, I wonder? (Bridge) Mensk's idle veiwing on the engines views the engines idling. Foreman, realizing that the vid table behind him was of better use, set it to help him plot his trip to the moon. Being the Earth's moon... most people refer to other moons by their name.  |

Looking at the engines read outs he was contemplating a method or two of collecting the wasted energy. he drew up the idea on the Engineering consoles small Holo-emitter
His mind happy to be focusing on engines again he looked at that potentals one came to mind. it was a simple foil system that could redirect energy to be absorbed back into the engine or other systems.
Skills:
Drive System Mechanincs 45% (45% pass)

The 2-D holo-emitter Mensk worked with was nothing as impressive or depth-weilding as the 2-D one Foreman had for the mapping (though, that was more from really good graphics). Bringing such an idea to fruition would certainly involve convincing the captain that the current system didn't work. And, also, that it is wise to put a sail on the engine exhaust... But, a proposal's a proposal.

An engine 'sail' to catch and recycle exhaust. Might also help reduce trail we leave...he thought. with a smirk as he played with the design he wondered how to propose it. as he put a visual together and tested in simulations.

Jessica looks thoughtful for a moment and then shakes her head. "No, I think we're good with what we have." Turning to MJ, she adds "I don't think we'll be returning here for quite awhile, so it wouldn't be worth putting down a deposit."
