Chapter 5 - Westvale (Everyone Else)

When Ellie get to the building she'll thank Daryn for the escort and lock the door behind her, if there are no other occupants. Then she take a seat weather it be on the sink ledge or if there is a couch, because every ladies room deserves a couch , and begin her check up on the missing soldiers statuses. Make sure nothing new has arisen.

[Dyson]

Keith chuckles as he walks past Dyson, his legs whiring with each step. " Sounds like y'all got your hands full then. But yer wastin' yer time lookin' for them here. We try not to take in too many strays. Specially any that'll stir up trouble with the neighbors."

[Rhys]

The ladder leads down to a well lit an clean bunker-style concrete chamber that leads in both directions. Several crates line one side wall. Gantry looks at Rhys and points down the corridor. " you check that way, I'll go this way. Stay in radio contact." Gantry turns and starts down the corridor with his weapon at the ready. As Rhys turns, the unmistakable face of a Tirrvol Swordfist peered around the corner of a doorway at the far end of the corridor and then ducked back.

[Mendez]

The woman just glared Mendez for a moment. " Carson has done nothing wrong. Go figure another good for nothing dead head officer can't leave things well enough alone." She shouted at him. " Get the hell out of my home!" She runs off into the kitchen, half sobbing.

Mikey looks at ther colonel, shaking his head." Nice job, sir."

[Ellie]

Ellie's check reveals nothing new, except that the lone soldier in the forest had made shelter in a cave for the night. After a few moments, a knock on the door is soon followed by Darn's voice." Hey, hurry up in there, my supper's probably getting cold!"

Rhys starts moving towards down when the swordfist is spotted. I keep my Rifle at the ready as I move stealthily, and silenty.

The sounds of several beings scurrying around fill the next chamber and Rhys snuck down the corridor. Just before he reached the doorway, a cloaked figure blocked his path and spoke in a deep woman's voice." You are not welcome here, Coalition."

[Marcethus]

Looking the cloaked figure up and down, "And whom are you?" His weapon still at the ready as he quietly radios Gantry. "Head my way I may have encountered trouble"

[Jon / Bo]

Ellie flushes a toilet and acts as though shes washing her hands at the sink. "Sorry about that." She says to Daryn as she exits the shack. "I guess we better look for the others." Ellie follows Daryn back to his home think thats where Mendez would be.

"mikey can you please tell her, i'm not trying to get shep in trouble, i just want to know what to put on my report, i'm just concerned what the others might think. lt. gantry for instance might report this in a way that might get shep court martialed. and i'd hate for that to happen. so i have to make sure there is some damage control. i'll be outside." mendez walks outside.

[ Rhys]

The cloaked woman replies with a commanding tone." That is none of your concern, Coalition. Leave this place while you can." Rhys radio call for assistance is only answered by static.

[Ellie ]

" You can look for them if you want. I'm going home for supper." Daryn stated as he led Ellie back to his home until he see Col. Mendez outside his home. He gives the officer a dirty look before racing in past.

[Mendez]

" Yessir, I'll see what I can do." Mikey replied, heading towards the kitchen as Mendez left the home. As he stepped out into the evening, he could see Ellie returning with Daryn. The boy gave Mendez a dirty look as he passed and entered the home.

Mendez walks over to ellie;" find out anything private?see if you can locate dyson, rhys, and gantry. dyson hasn't reported in, so i dont know if radioing him might compramise what-ever he is doing. Rhys and Gantry are investigating a trap door they found. i'll check to see what coordinates their trackers give. you check and see if you can get a read on them." Mendez uses the tracking devise.

Rhys watches the cloaked woman warily knowing that he doesn't have any back up and she likely does. He glances around to see if he sees anyone else that might be allies of the woman.

(OOC: Rhys dun have a tracker. He declined it. Tag GM)

Dyson turns to look at Keith after he walks by and says "Any particular neighbors that they'd be liable to upset, well, besides the simvan around here?" Dyson pauses less than a second and then continues " Oh yeah, one other thing, did I mention that my squad ran across some of those mercs I mentioned before, Well we were tromping around in the forest a ways off from here and then we heard them coming. So we hide real quick and watched em, dog boys and brodkil and all walk right by, and this is the strange part, they were walking on a trail that my squad had just noticed before we heard them coming. Now we figured that the mercs were going back to their camp and we were still looking for some people in the forest, so we head the other way on the trail hoping to find are people and we end up here. Now, Keith, do you have any idea why those mercs would have been coming from here?"

OOC: To imagine Dyson's tone throughout this monologue think of some one badly imitating( voice too plain and not inflected enough or properly) Richard Dean Anderson talking to some one who might not be telling him the truth.

" Take your pick kiddo, we've got most of the regulars to put up with. Simvan, Brodkil, Natives, Tolkeenite leftovers, General Sprite's boys, not to mention all you deadboys." Keith grinned as he popped a wad of chewing tobacco in his mouth. " Mercs you say? Could be workin' for anyone, but I haven't heard of any groups working out here in the middle of nowhere."

He continues walking away, stopping to turn look at Dyson, holding his smirk." I don't mind ya lookin', but keep yer paws off my rig. It's too hard to get spare parts around here."

" I know putting on that armor makes you stupid, but I didn't realize it made you deaf as well." Scoffed the cloaked figure beneath her hood. She brushed back the side of her cloak, revealing a Wilk's 330 sniper pistol. " I'm going to only tell you this once more. Leave, while you still can."

[Marcethus]

Rhys backs up cautiously whilst considering putting a fusion block or two on the tunnel walls and burying these fools alive but doesn't do such a thing yet. Once far enough away he turns and moves cautiously and quietly back towards the ladder.

As Rhys backtracks, the woman's laughter echoes the tunnel. Upon reaching the ladder, he can see Lt. Gantry making his way back up the long coridor, tapping his temple as he approached. " I tried to reach you, but my comm must be malfuctioning. There's nothing down that way except alot of supplies. See anything that way?"

After watching Keith go Dyson takes a lingering look at the mountaineer, looking for anything odd or interesting.

Deciding he's spent enough time pocking around he makes his way back to where he left the company of the Col., keeping his eyes open for any of his squad members as he goes.
