" No thank you." The woman answered for the pair.
" I am Croatian, but please continue in english so Janie can understand." He said, glancing at his companion. He continued, obviously not used to playing dumb, " I'm not sure what you are talking about. Why would I be on television?"

Sasha nods to Janie at the mention of her name. "Then let us hope it wasn't you seen on the evening news with all the other mutants," Sasha says bluntly. "Put simply Sir," she indicates the man. "Ma'am," she indicates her.
"Not more then an hour ago I received a threat about allowing mutants into my bar," she crosses her arms and leans back. "While I don't care what color your skin is, I care about the money in your wallet. If it's stolen or it's drug money I won't be a part of it, if you've done nothing wrong and you're blessed with unique genetics you have no fear to hide..." she holds up a finger as if to ask for a moment. "UNLESS you plan to cause trouble," she smiles politely.
"I hope this is understandable and I'm simply giving a warning that is nothing but empty words, i would hate to alienate any of my customers simply because people are to narrow minded to engage in polite conversations to resolve differences."

Janie looked her companion, and held his elbow as he started to get up. " Hear her out, Dmitri. This is a problem that affects both of us."
Dmitri nodded to Janie, and made himself comfortable. " What about money from a goverment payroll? some people consider them the biggest criminals of them all." He smirked. " Yes, I was one of the ones at the park and later the marina this afternoon. My name is Dmitri Radinsj, and we have no intention of bringing any trouble to your establishment. We were just looking for a place to have some time together and your pub was much closer than the one we usually frequent, so we thought we'd try it. And don't worry, you can't alienate me or my friends any more than the rest of the world does."

Sasha nods and smiles politely. "I used to be a cop, I'm convinced the goverment is generally fair... it's never hurt me."
"I'm glad we could come to an agreement. I will also give you a heads up, not long ago I asked for some police detectives to come by so I could file a report about the harrasment and threatening."
She crosses her arms and leans back. "I have no reason to alienate any mutants," Sasha responds. "My gifts have been good to me... though I have only one obvious mutation." She points at her skin. "Would you beileve me to be almost 50?" she asks. "I've found that after I died from a drug overdose my genetics allowed me to live again... and again and again. I've not found the extent to which I can heal nor do I wish to find out. My other gifts are a mastery of languages and unaided flight."
Sasha levitates slowly out of her chair to a standing position and allows her feet to touch the ground. "I don't appreciate people telling me I can't serve my own kind... but my gifts aren't useful for saving the world... unless we are invaded by aliens or something," she shrugs. "Bring your friends in some time, Dmitri, I am Sasha Jones or Ariel to friends."

Dmitri smirked as he suddenly understood, and a quick glance to Janie made her keep from blurting out the obvious. " The police won't bother us I don't think, and if need be we can make a quick exit. It's nice to meet you Sasha, and good to know there are others of our kind around we won't have to fight."
Janie smirked, " You may not look your age, but my Dim doesn't look like he has copper skin either."
A knock came on the door, " Hey boss, there's a cop out here to see you."

Sasha nods to Nick and flashes as smile to Dmitri and Janie "Please, enjoy your meals and as I said, bring your friends at some point." Turning to Nick she motions for him to show in the police officer.
"Officer," Sasha says politely. "I'm glad you could come so quickly, please have a seat. May I get you anything?"

" I was in the neighborhood." the officer admitted, taking a seat. " No thank you, I'm just off lunch break. now the message that was passed on is that some of the locals are causing you some problems?"

"I was approached by two individuals," Sasha says. "Not long ago telling me this was a clean family environment and that no mutants should be served here in this bar." Sasha crosses her arms and frowns. "I'm a retired police officer from Cali, this doesn't set well with me. Figured I'd pass on their descriptions and their vague threat to my establishment." Sasha gives the cop a describtion of her two would be assilants.

the officer jots down his notes, nods ocassionally as he listened. " I'll start a file, ma'am, but there's not alot we can do at this point unless they take some sort of action against you or your bar. even if I could track them down, there's nothing here that'll stand in court. I'll check the other files too, see if you're not the first one to be approached."
The bar was starting to fill up with the after work crowd. At one point, Nick got a smirk that Sasha was learning meant one thing, he had a scheme.

"Understandable," Sasha says standing up. "Simply bringing this to your attention and filing the necessary paper work to get it started, should this esclate. I will be hiring bouncers to help discourage unnecessary civil actions." She helps escort the officer out. "Thank you for your time, Officer."
Seeing Nick smirk Sasha can only grimace mentally. The last time he had a scheme it resulted in her having a migraine for almost a day, an almost unheard of feat considering her healing abilities. Silently she watches from a remote part of the bar she reserves for herself and friends, a single cozy looking table with the only RSVP marker on it.

The officer left, and from her vantage point, Sasha could tell Nick was giving preferential treatment to a rowdy group that had come in and taken the largest booth. His actions were odd for the bartender, and luckily, the evening shift was just coming on to help pick up the slack it was causing.

Inwardly Sasha sighed and decided to step in and help Nick. Walking from table to table refilling drinks taking orders and doing what she could to help alleviate Nick's worries.
When Nick is away from the group after a bit she asks casually "Friends of yours?"

nick looked at Sasha with a bit of surprise," You don't recognize the big guy? That's Traci "Desolation" Jones, former EFC heavyweight champion. Still would be, but they said he was hurting too many opponents. You know, the guy they were trying to set up the celebrity pay per view to fight Tyson." He glanced over at the table, his smirk returning.

Sasha arches her eyebrow at Nick as if asking "Should I?" but at his explanation she nods to Nick. "No, I've never had much of a desire to see people hurt... even if they are willing to do it to themselves." She turns back to a customer refilling his drink. "However, feel free to extend my welcome to him and encourage him to come back whenever, business is business you know."

Nick nods enthusiastically. " Apparently he's in town for a tournament of some sort, but I never heard of any big fights in town. But hey, just think of it boss, maybe he'll do a plug for you on a pay per view or something. Might fill the place up more than your kariokescheme." he grinned as he took another round back to the rowdy table.
