Dyson moves toward the helicopter, hoists himself in and takes a seat next to Mikey if its open. If it isn't then Dyson will just take the nearest open seat.

Dyson tries to listen to the conversation between Mendez and Ellie over the noise of the heli.

" Oh! you have the ability of..... I think they call it object read? I've been working on it with minimal success. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon enough. I will try my best to find them and help them *acquires the hypo and tracer chips* "So I inject the chip in them? Don't you think some of them would object? Personally sir I will keep one on me, but implanting it in me... I'm sorry but I shall have to refuse the offer. I can tell you if these men are dead or not though *shuffling through the pics*

to ellie "the implant is easily removed, you just have to lance it and pop it like a zit, it comes right out. i only suggested you inject it just under the skin, because a lot of our enemies are notorious for stripping prisoners and the dead as 2 the objections of the troops. its only needed for those who are incapacitated or dead. this way they are easier to retrieve. everyone else is voluntary.

"Alright sir, I will offer it to any of our men we come across. As for me Sir, I don't plan on getting captured" Ellie winks with a smirks at the Colonel; then turns her attention back to the pictures.

Smiles at Ellie; "i read you, private. I read you loud and clear," he says with a grin. * he checks his instruments to make sure the tracers are working. then he puts every thing up and readies his C-10 for the drop. Nervous energy fills him as they near the drop zone. adrenaline starting to flow through his system. He puts up mind block and says to Ellie; " can you mind block yourself or a group of people? It might help to hide our numbers from any psionic spying."

Rhys checks his rifle and pistol as he pays attention to what is being said by Mendez and Ellie but seeming not to be paying attention. If he hears what Mendez says to the Lt about putting tracers on the squad he will look up sharply.

Mikey leans over to Dyson and mutters under his breath" I'd like to see him try to put one of those tracers in me. Colonel or not, he's gonna get a flying lesson."

Shepherd elbows him from the otherside sharply in the ribs. " That's enough of that. You know you're big ass was tagged months ago when we pulled what was left of you out of that hellhole in the Pecos." He leans forward and looks at the colonel. " Try 76.40, see if Mikey's transmitter is still working."

Lt. Archer gulps nervously at the sight of the needle. " The implanting of tracers is optional." There is a slight quiver to his voice.

Shepherd laughs , shaking his head at the Lt. He finishes the ration bar he'd been snacking on and balls up the wrapper. He tosses it at Rhys, bouncing it off his helmet. " Lighten up, will you? You're starting to make me nervous."

( OOC- Finally, you've started interacting with each other. I was starting to think I had a bunch of anti social characters ;D )

Mendez checks 76.40 and says to Lt. Archer; " Yes it is voluntary, but if you get captured, incapacitated, or dead, you'll wish you had one so we could get you back, instead of letting those dimensional freaks keep ya. statistics show a 95% retrieval rate. There was a 5% loss due to obliteration, digestion or some other unknown factor." Mendez Smiles under his helmet at the effect the last sentence had.

Dyson relaxes his face into an emotionless expression from the half smile that Mikey's comment aroused, trying to hide his nervousness and how he really feels. Dyson says in a monotone " OK Doc, tag me" and move ( if possible) into a position in which Col. Mendez can inject the chip under his scalp.

OOC: Dyson still doesn't have his helmet on and I don't now if our chars are buckled in and can't move so Dyson couldn't get to Mendez.

Rhys looks over to the Col. "Sorry Colnel I don't like the idea of the enemy being able to find me if they get ahold of that transmitter frequency so I will pass on the chip." He resumes checking his rifle making sure the sight on it works properly and whatnot.

(Mendez) "Yes Sir, I can block my mind. It was one of the first abilities I developed. As for an entire group... I don't think so... I've never tried. It would probably take a while to develope." Ellie looks at the rest of the group and notices that they're all listening. She shifts uncomfortably knowing all eyes are on them. Ellie turns her attention back to the photos.

OOC I use remote viewing on the 3 photos to find out if they're dead. 30 Isp, first takes 10seconds, second 15seconds, and third 14seconds. So what do I find out Boss???

Mendez injects anyone else who volunteers* to Rhys; " Our techs are working on models that will rotate frequency, hope to get those soon." to Ellie; " once you have all the info you can get, you might want to block yourself " to Lt. Archer. " I would also like a personal item from each of the squad members as a back up. With your permission LT."

(Mendez) Ellie gives you one of her beads from her hair "just for good measure" she says as she hands it to you.

Mendez takes his helmet off exposing a reassuring smile; " may I never have to use this.'' he says along with a short prayer, as he adds the bead to a silver necklace already bearing a silver cross.
