Rhys looks to Mendez. "Well Colonel, when they get that chip I may consider letting someone tag me with one. But till then I will pass." Rhys then slings his rifle over his shoulder and goes to cleaning his CP-30.

Dyson, while returning to his seat and rubbing his head where the chip went in, says to Mikey " Mikey, have you been deployed in this area before. Or do you know anything we need to know about the area that wouldn't get into reports we downloaded at the base?

The first two pictures give you a similar image of being contained in a small dingy room. They appear to be in fairly good condition. The third image gives you a glimpse of wandering amongst the forest. He appears to be wounded by the way he moves.

The files reveal that the three missing soldiers are Private Allison Dramask ( EOD Specialist) , Private Winston Koch ( CS Commando ), and Sergeant Trent Salinger ( CS Special Forces).

(OOC Sorry I've been slow on my posts, work has been(and will be for a while) hellish and I haven't had much comp time. I'll get another post up later today to keep things rolling, but things will be hit and miss for a while )

Mikey gives Shepherd a quick glance before responding to Dyson in a sullen voice. " Yeah, we've been up here before. Got the snot kicked out of us too. But all of that was in Shep's report. I think it was , anyways. Don't remember much , everything happened too fast."

Shepherd gives Mikey a sideways glare before lighting up a cigar. Taking a puff he looks around the helicopter. " They've nicknamed it Suicide Valley. Someone up the chain of command has got it in their head that there is something in that valley worth throwing away soldiers like us to try to find. Not sure what it is, but scuttlebuttt is that's the reason the base was set up in the first place. " He stops to take another puff on his cigar. " Last time up here we walked into an ambush by a merc team four days into our patrol. They kept us pinned down while their spellchuckers cut us to ribbons. The only reason any of us got out of that one was pure luck." He gets a 'don't ask' look on his face and goes back to looking out the window, sucking on his cigar.

A voice from the cockpit comes over the loudspeaker. " Heads up, folks. Touchdown in five."

{side bar to gm} did anyone else give me somthin, or get a tracer? Also, does Mikey's tracer still work?

After Breaking her trance like state Ellie says "Yes Sir, two of he appear to be captured, they're in a small room. They also appear to be in decent condition.. Small cuts here and there not badly wounded. The other appears to be wandering in the forest... he seems to be hurt by the way he's limping.. Hopefully we'll find him first and get him the care he needs." Ellie readys her weapon getting ready to depart. "Ready Sir?" She looks to Mendez.

Dyson says " Can we test our com systems or are we staying off them to avoid detection?

Lt. Archer looks up from his pocket comp at Dyson. " Good idea , Wong. But keep it brief, our communications could easily be intercepted by anyone in the area"

Shepherd adds his two cents. " I wouldn't. Last thing we need is a welcoming party at the LZ."

OOC Yes it worked on Mikey, but none of them give you anything or take a tracer

Lt. Archer glares at Colonel Mendez before he dons his helmet. " I suppose you are correct, Colonel, but why take chances..."

Shep cuts the Luietenant off. " The mercs that hit us last trip had CS gear and they knew our tactics. They'd know that trick, colonel. And there isn't any ley line activity close that I'm aware of."

Rhys looks between the Colonel and the Lt and shakes his head a bit as he finishes checking his weapons. "Since it seems these mercs know and use CS tactics then we should maintain radio silence as much as possible." Thinking to himself ~Great just great we got us an Lt. that's insecure when the squad has someone of higher rank than him.~ Putting his CP-50 on burst he readies for arrival at the LZ. Looking to Mikey and Shep "Anything in particular besides these Mercs that we need to know?"

"Sir, its this man right here" Ellie points to the picture of Sergeant Trent Salinger. Ellie puts on her helmet and focuses her mind. She begins to feel more aware of her surroundings as is if she part of it. She readies herself for trouble rechecking Eclips and preparing for departure.
