"And I'm the one that's been called suicidal?" The Punisher replied, not hesitating to trust Captain America's plan. He smirked as he replied with the Army slogan, "Hooah!"
The elevator was roughly ten floors down, though it was difficult to judge.

Practice. Dedication. Experience. Confidence. All of these made the Sentinel of Liberty as he began to use the shield to surf down the shaft towards the elevator. "Let's move."

The Punisher was less than confident in the approach, but when they stepped from the shield, he responded, " That is a good trick. Have to remember it."
On their ride down, they had only passed two other floors. One immediately below the surface and one half way down the shaft. The elevator was resting at the bottom and Frank strained a bit but managed to pry the shaft open. Beyond was a dimly lit corridor with no signs of guards. "Too easy." Castle muttered, and pulled a roll of electrical tape from his pouches. He rolled it out the down the corridor. "Maybe it's too sma...,"
He never got the words out as bolts of energy arced from somewhere over the elevator door to strike and disintegrate the tape, causing the Punisher to flinch as it caught him offguard.

"Well, that's unwelcome - shall we try a grenade?" Cap asked.

The Punisher smiled, "That I can do." He pulled out a grenade and pulled the pin and waited. Timing it perfect from far too much practice, Frank lobbed the explosive up above the elevator doorway and stepped back to the shaft out of the blast radius just as it exploded. "Shall we continue?"
Frank had no idea that Cap's Avengers identicard had began to vibrate, a sign the rest of the team were assembling for something.

"Yes. Let's hurry then." As he raced forward, shield at the ready. He was surprised the communicard was even operating; he imagined that meant that the force he faced did not have any kind of signal jamming. He tapped the card to relay his location, but let the others know he was indisposed at the moment.

The Punisher matched stride for stride as they raced down the corridor. The lone door opened to a massive chamber easily the size walls on the surface. Inside were dozens of robots, and dozens more in various stages of construction.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't Magneto tear this place and everything in it apart with a blink of his eyes the moment he came to?" Castle said. "This is not adding up. Especially that."
A lone projector played a press conference with Norman Osbourne played on one wall, which looked like the displayed image was regularly used for target practice.

"Good question. I imagine we'll get an answer shortly." Cap responded as he moved forward, eyes alert.

Captain America managed four steps before being drove sideways by Castle behind a stack of crates. As he did, one of the patrol robots from the surface appeared in the doorway behind them, stepping beside the doorway.
A faint German accent came over several loudspeakers, giving it an echo, "Gentlemen. I have no quarrel with either of you despite doing considerable damage to my facility. Please be on your way and mind your own business."
"Please? He did say please, right?" Frank could not help but ask, "Who is this chucklehead?"

"Let's find out. He's definitely the kind that likes to talk." Cap walked forward, using the momentum of his stride as he swung his shield to decapitate the guardbot.

He projected his voice. "Nice offer - here's my counter; your unconditional surrender in exchange for not tearing this place apart. Now, why don't you introduce yourself?"

There was a delay as the robot was destroyed with ease, but at the same time, an echo of servos echoed through the massive chamber.
The speaker cleared his throat before replying, "My name, not that I expect either of you to know me, is Doctor Mendell Stromm." A screen flickered on, revealing a strange cyborg with the head of a bald older man and the body of a skeletal robot. "Now, I have done nothing wrong, and it is you that is trespassing, Captain America, so please Take your friend and leave before you damage any more of my property."
"Your friend?" Castle seemed a bit offended. "The best I get is your friend? Wait. To his left," Punisher pointed at the image, "on the left, edge of the screen. Magneto's with him."

"It seems to me that kidnapping people is wrong. Unless you're about to inform me you're a SHIELD Agent or some other government operative. In that case, I'm going to need to see some ID." Cap shot back.

" A SHIELD agent?" The cyborg cackled in amusement, then turned to the man seated by him. "He thinks I kidnap...," he began cackling.
"I can see his misconception." A familiar voice spoke up. "Your androids did put on a commendable performance. Perhaps more were watching than we believed."
"No! That location was chosen specifically to prevent that from happening." Dr. Stromm countered, then turned back to the monitor, "Go away, before you ruin everything."
Castle turned his head and muttered lowly, "You know, I'm half tempted to do as he asks because anyone that is willing to use robots and make deals with Magneto has got to be batshit crazy."

"Sorry, but I'm going to need some clear answers before I decide not to ruin something. Because what I'm seeing here? I'm not a fan of." Cap responded to Stromm. "So you can start explaining yourself, or my friend and I can continue until we turn this place into a crater. Oh, and by the way." He held up his communicard. "You'd need to get some jamming equipment."

As he held up the card, Captain America felt the card in his hand crumple by some invisible force, followed by the release of a little puff of smoke.
"Your precious shield could be next, Captain. Or perhaps one of your cohorts grenades." Another, familiar voice joined the conversation. "Which pin should I pull, Mr. Castle?"
"This does not seem like your sort of part, Magneto." The Punisher responded. "Nazi robots should offend you more than anyone here from what I'm told."
"Oh, yes, my counterparts designs are far from appealing, but they served the purpose. And unlike the buffoons that had the misfortune of crossing my path earlier today, Dr. Stromm is not a believer in such symbolism. Merely a flawed designed for shock value lost on myself."
"And to think I called you because I was worried about Mags well being." Castle sputtered
