Spider-Man looks at both MJ and Blink a little confused. "Uhh... Yeah... Sure. Next week sounds great. I'll talk to you then?" After he hangs up the phone, Spider-Man shakes his head. "Well, this is weird." Walking over to Cap, he says "Steve, it looks like you're going to have to be the bait. She's expecting a call from... 'a cutie' *ahem* and won't see me until next week. You're going to have to set up a date with the Black Cat. And then we'll just be the 5th through 9th wheels, I guess?"

MJ supplies a smirk, as Steve rubs the back of his head. "Alright. I guess."
The Wasp buzzes up to Blink. "Yes and no. We can work with law enforcement, only so long as they feel like cooperating. It's...complicated."

"Right, You and me put on our best diplomatic faces and do what we can to get to that crime scene. We need to know what exactly what they were after and for who." Blink said. If it was a simple theft by Black cat then this would be easy.
"Can we get shield to twist arms for us?" she asked Wasp. It was curious how a law enforcement group like the avengers did not have real police powers.

Janet (The Wasp) has her driver bring around her limo. "Alright Blink, we ride in style tonight." As she motions you into the car.
Hawkeye puts his arms around Spider-man and then Cap, as the latter is making his call. "Boys night out it seems." He smirks.

It impresses people I'll give you that, Janet." she smiled as she stepped in to it, "Okay, spidey, you take of care that and Wasp and I will get to that crimescene and any info on what went down and meet up later. If either of us needs help use the card. No need for anyone to get in trouble or injured needlessly." she adds with a nod.
(Once in the limo and travelling)
"This a standard Avenger perk?" she grinned, "Now I need to remember who that investigating officer was..Bill mentioned a name...Solomon Blake. A recent transfer from jersy." she spoke.
"Bill, anything special about Blake we should know before talking to him?" she asked via th card.

Bill Foster responded on the communicard. "I don't have much, Blink. Mid-40s. Divorced, two kids in joint custody. Oh...he's a Bugle fan."
Wasp rolled her eyes. "Great. So we'll be dealing with one of JJJ's dittoheads. We might want to ask Webhead how to deal with those."
Hawkeye smiled. "I would hate to take your money that easy."
Cap put down the phone. "Meet is on."

Any tips we should know?" Blink asked. Inwardly she was bothered concept of 'anti-metahumanis' thinking. It was impractical and only created more fear of what they were afraid of. Spidey picks up his communicard to respond to Blink. "Ummm... Don't let them buy your pictures for less than they're worth? Avoid being called a menace at all costs. If they have a funny mustache, point it out to them in as many ways as possible."
After Spidey hangs up, he turns back to Hawkeye. "You can't take what I don't have. You think Iron Man would give me a small loan of say... $150? I've gotta make some more webfluid. This stuff ain't cheap y'know. Kinda like an arrow with a net on the end."
To Cap: "What's the plan? How're we doing this?"

Captain America responded. "We approach her and...ask her...about the crimes?"
Hawkeye looks at Spider-Man. "You really have to forgive him. Greatest Strategist of our time - has no idea how to deal with bad girls. I think we should make the plans here, Webby."
"I don't deal with the papers, except the fashion section. You should come see me about a new costume. I inherited my fortune. Crimefighting has its perks, but this isn't one of them." Wasp responds.
You pull up to the police station, and there's a police officer. The man has thinning blonde hair, long sideburns, and dressed in a maroon cardigan with a white button up shirt, charcoal slacks and wing-tips. "Solomon Blake, Major Crimes. How can I help you?" He smiled.

"I'm here on behalf of the avengers..we're looking into a theft by someone were possibly both tracking down. If so some sort of co-operation would help both of our respective cases get solved faster. If your willing to help us, we can return the favor. To be honest you have more familiarity with crime scenes than I do and I would not want to ruin your effort bumbling around so your guidence and assistance would help greatly us." she said careful not to make any slur or comment about conventioanl law enforcement and smiled back offering a hand to shake. MJ cleared her throat. "Coffee? At her place?" She looked over at Peter in a mixture of amusement and disbelief. "Oh really?"
"Does that mean something?"
MJ opened her mouth for a moment, but said nothing.
Hawkeye couldn't help but chuckle.
"You can look at the security footage we've obtained, if that's of any use. You mind telling me what's got the Avengers interested in a B&E?" Solomon raised an eyebrow.
