The Absorbing Man rose even as Gabby's shot bounced off his still metal form. "Listen, I got a rep here; I can't just go spilling the beans to the first Dame Avengers I run into." He charged at Tabby again, but going straight through her form. "What the - that's a new trick - you some kinda girl Vision or something?"

"Vision? I don't think so, Crusher. The name is Ghostsabre." Tabitha replied before becoming tangible as she lashed out with a kick for his midsection ( strike zuNW9Q3r1d20+2 damage if hits 2d4+25 1d20+2·2d4+25

Gabby sighs when Creel gets up and attacks Tabitha and rolls her eyes at him. Shaking her head, Gabby says, "Look there's only one way this is going to go down. You're going to get the crap kicked out of you and then you're going to give us the information we want. No matter what you do, the dice will eventually roll against you. So why not save us some time and just tell us what we want to know so we can all get on with our evening?"
Nodding in satisfaction when Tabitha connects with her kick, Gabby says, "See? What did I tell you?" Aiming her wrist blaster at Creel, Gabby finishes with, "You might as well just tell us."

Tabitha smirked as she followed Creel out into the street. She stopped out of arm's reach. "Whoever you came for is long gone, so you might as well do as my friend says and come clean and then get lost. I mean the alternative is you get up and keep getting your ass kicked by lady Avengers, and I'm sure you weren't offered enough money for that, right?" She folded her arms to appear confident, though her mind was wandering to wonder if Matt got Foggy out safely.

Gabby smirks as she follows Tabitha outside, making sure to stay out of arm reach as well. Gabby adds on to what Tabitha is saying "Listen, pal, I could keep threatening to shoot you all day, but I'd like to get back to my date now, so I'll make you a deal. You tell us what we want to know and I won't go around telling everyone I meet on the street about how we kicked our ass. I mean, you wouldn't want that to get out, would you? It's gotta be pretty embarrassing for you." The truth was that Gabby was going to brag about her and Tabitha's kicking Creel's ass to anyone who would listen and anyone who wouldn't by putting a bullet in their leg so they couldn't get away from her.

The Absorbing Man chuckles as he gets up. "I ain't telling you who hired me. Here's my deal: We both walk away, before someone gets hurt real bad." His body changes from metal to brick as he rises. "What ya say?"

"Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but your tail is the one between your legs, not ours. I think we get to make the deals, not you." Tabitha replied, feeling confident as she leaned against Gaby. " But let's think about this since you don't know us, but you know our parents. My mom is Shadowcat, so you can't touch me unless I let you, and her Dad is Deadpool so you can't hurt or shut her up. Sorry Gaby," she smirked. "How can this possibly go well for you?" Even as she taunted Creel, Tabitha went intangible again.

Gabby puts an ‘aw shucks’ look on her face in a failed attempt to look modest as she nods. “It’s true. I am related to Deadpool.” Gabby’s grin widen as she adds, “Hey, remember that time DP was transported to Battleworld and you two fought? You tried to absorb his powers but got his… shall we say extras? So I guess fighting isn’t really the word I should use. More like, you tried to fight him and then ended up whimpering like a child.” Gabby shrugs as she adds, “Have you noticed I haven’t touched you at all, just shot you.” Grinning, she says, “Sure, shooting you is fun but I don’t have all day!" Waving her hand in a dismissive manner, Gabby says, “But I’m getting off topic – tell us what we want to know and we can all walk away happy. If you don’t, well,” Gabby waves her blaster, indicating her intentions, before pointing it at Creel's left leg, “I mean, why shoot something once when you can shoot it 46 more times!?!”

"Naw, ya see, you're thinking too simple. It ain't just 'can ya get me?', it's 'can ya get me before I hurt some civilian in the way?' So I'm thinking, we just both agree to walk away, and ain't no one else getting hurt - us or the upstanding citizen variety." Absorbing man starts spinning his ball and chain. "So, what's it gonna be?"

"Yes, but you aren't understanding either." Tabby smirked. "You can't touch me unless I want to let you. So think about what happens if I take hold of you? Then you can't absorb from anything." She let her threat sink in. "Just think about it, unable to absorb anything until I let go of you. You know what happens if we pass halfway through a steel door or maybe some concrete and I let go? Both halves of you can absorb it while we change your name to humpty dumpty." She was doing her best to hide she was only posturing, if push came to shove, she would let him walk to protect the civilians.

Gabby rolls her eyes at Creel's posturing and sighs. "You heard her." Gabby gestures to Tabitha before adding, "Do you really want to be stuck in a steel door? It doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me." Sighing again, Gabby adds, "This is boring!" Brightening, Gabby says, "I've got an idea!" Disappearing again for a moment, Gabby reappears with a sledgehammer. "I know! Let's play a game! It's called Punch for Truth! We ask you a question and every time you lie or refuse to answer, I punch you with this!" Gabby gestures to the sledgehammer before turning to Tabby. "So, stick him in a wall already! I bet I can get the most points to win the game!" Gabby turns back to Creel with a devious look on her face, showing that she wasn't bluffing and she was looking forward to starting the game.

Gabby rolls her eyes at Creel when his shot misses by a mile. "Did you really think you could hit ME with a natural 1? That's just embarrassing..." Gabby grins "for you, anyway." Shaking her head, Gabby continues, "I really think you're losing your edge, Creel ol' boy."
Gabby raises the sledgehammer as she demands, "Tell me who you're working for! Don't make me ask you twice!" Pausing, Gabrielle adds, "Well, I guess, technically, this will be the fourth time you've made me ask. Or is it the third? Or fifth?" Shrugging, Gabrielle says, "Oh who cares? Just tell me!" Gabby then swings the sledgehammer at Creel's midsection.

While her friend moved out of the way, Tabitha never batted an eye as Creel missed wildly, safely intangible. "So the safest place to stand when Crusher is trying to hit you is directly in front of him. I'll have to remember that. I've got another solution Gabby." Tabby suggested once Deadpool swung her hammer. Still intangible, she stepped forward and stuck her hand through Creel's chest. "Now if I read my history lessons right, you like to touch things to absorb their traits, right? So what do you think will happen if I suddenly materialize with my metallic hand in the vicinity of your heart? I mean I bet even if you can copy it, your old ticker won't work too long encased in metal even if it survives my hand splitting it in two.." Tab was bluffing, but she laid her bravado on thick, "Now if you think I'm bluffing, consider this. I was raised by Wolverine and then my Uncle Mikhail. Both of them have called me a brutal little bitch, Gabby can attest to this. So one last chance. Spill your guts or I go for the squeeze play." She gritted her teeth to add to the act.
