Gabby sighs at Tabitha’s reply and looks bored with the conversation. “I’m not yelling.” She says quietly. “And I’m not jealous of Tally.” Turning to Foggy, Gabby explains, “You see, when I met her friend Aura, I said ‘Hey Aura, nice to meet you.’ Tabitha took that to mean that I was jealous. Now, I’m no lawyer, but that seems like specious reasoning to me.” Gabby just shakes her head at Tabitha’s question that she thought they were characters in a Choose Your Own Adventure book. “No, I don’t think that.”
’Choose your own adventure book? Lame. It’s OBVIOUS that we’re in a pbp game now!’
’I know. Poor Tabitha, blind to the truth.’
’Should we tell her?’
’No – at least, not right now. Let’s wait until a more festive opportunity presents itself.’

Gabby takes a sip of her drink as she waits for a response from Foggy.

DD estimates the distance as being on the second floor, just above where Osborn and Sharpe are sitting....
Foggy smiles. "Uhm...I do think the logic on that is jittery. Can we move to dismiss and get back to dinner maybe?"

Tabitha scowled as Gabrielle took the high road, but held her tongue at Matt's request. "Sorry, guess I got a little carried away. So what is good anyways? I uh, don't know what most of this stuff on the menu is." She frowned slightly. She looked at Matt, and noticed he was not really paying attention, " Matt, I said I'm sorry."

DD shakes his head and reaches out and takes Tabby's hand. He brings it up and kisses the back of it, "you have nothing to apologize for. But I think I have to make apologies. I got a feeling dinner is going to be cut short," he says thumbing over his shoulder towards Osborne's table.
"Something or someone is coming in on the floor above, roughly right over Osborne's table," he says

"Why tonight?" Tabitha half whined as she set down the menu, annoyed. Then she looked at Gabby and smirked as her voice took a mischevious tone," Matt, why don't Gabrielle and I go powder our noses while you and Foggy sit tight?" From what she had heard, it sounded like Foggy knew Matt's secret, but doubted he knew all three of them were Avengers.

DD didn't catch on right away, "you're going to the bathroom now," he asks before realizing what she meant. "Um... ok sure we'll wait here," he says standing up while Tabby and Gabby get up for the bathroom. He then sits back down at the table and says to Foggy, "sorry about tonight, Foggy."

Gabby perks up, obviously curious to know what is above DafOsborne's table, looking up at the ceiling. When Foggy asks if he can see her again, Gabby beams and says, "Absolutely! I'd like that!" Grabbing a napkin, Gabby quickly writes down her first name and phone number along with a couple of x's and o's and hands it to him with a wink. "If you don't call me, I"ll find you!"
When Tabitha suggests they power their nose, Gabby briefly looks confused as she says, "Right." Understanding flashes across her face and she grins and gently nudges Tabby "Riiiiiight!" Standing up, Gabby says, "Be right back, boys!"

Foggy beams. "I think I'm in love - what are you talking about, Matt? Now, I think you need to go take care of that call, right?"
Gabby and Tabitha leave the table together.

Once they were alone, Tabitha turned to Gabby, "What to think, stairs or Ghostsabre Express? I'd ask if you're armed, but I know better."

Gabby doesn't hesitate in answering "Ghostsabre express, once we're out of sight." When Tabitha asks if Gabby is armed, Gabby looks down with a smirk before looking up. "Where exactly do you think I would have hidden a weapon with this dress?"

Matt looks at Foggy. He isn't sure if he should let him in on what the girls are really doing. "I'm listening closely Foggy. I think I'll give it a few minutes, see if maybe its my imagination or something more. I mean if we can save dinner, then why run off right," he says while listening to see if he can pick up the girls location and what they were up to.

"I know you can get pretty creative." Tabitha shrugged as she looked to make sure they were out of sight before grabbing Gabrielle in her arms before going intangible and leaping up through the ceiling to the next floor, letting her go once they were in a clear spot . She considered going metallic, but decided to wait for a few minutes to see what Matt had heard.
