Issue 22: Overlord

"You really want the kind of trophies I keep?" Creed smiled, letting his fangs show. "Look Clarice, things will be fine. Trust me, you..... good lord, that have a female Deadpool." He said, motioning towards Daredevil and the junior members of the Avenger's team. "That could almost be amusing, if you can survive the migraine it would cause. Be almost as bad as the time Beak and Morph got into those happy pills." He chuckled. "You may not have any souvenirs, but you have a lot of memories to hang on to, this wild bunch will surely help you get a bunch more. Be safe kiddo." He muffed her hair, then walked to where Lockjaw sat waiting for him and was gone in a flash of light. At the same time, Deadpool was suddenly turning and walking towards Blink.


"Uh Daredevil, shut up." Tabitha said as her face flushed in embarrassment. "Let's go find the others and get out of here. I saw Elixir around here earlier, I can get him to fix me up enough to get home. And before anyone says it, this isn't home anymore. I want to go back to the mansion." She saw the odd expression Aura was giving her," What's wrong?" As Deadpool turned away," Beer? You... actually, that sounds like a good idea." She stood up and put her arms around Daredevil and Aura and started to follow Gabby. "Wait for us."


"No of course not." Clint replied defensively. "I just don't want to have to show anyone up that thinks they're as good as me." He flashed a cocky grin before opening his own beer. "You know Cap is going to have kittens when he catches us, right?" He then started drinking. "It's just the way they all keep looking at us. Spidey I can understand, but everyone likes me and Wolvie." He teased.

"No." Glory replied sharply, and it was clear she was insulted. "You don't want it, fine, Bucky can have the damned thing back. I just thought since, I mean...," she took a moment and composed herself. "Dammit, I want to be my own person, not just have everyone know me for my parents." She turned and started off towards where they both could see Spiderman, Logan and Hawkeye, doing exactly what he had done countless times as she dug down deep to conceal her injuries as if nothing was wrong.

"No, no, it's fine." Cap responds. "I just meant I could show you a few trick throws you can do with your own shield. After all, Buck's fine, and I know Hawkeye might know a few things about trick shots...but..." he grins. "When it comes to knowing how to use a shield, I know a few things I could probably teach you."

He'd be fine..she knew it. Even if she did it still made her worry. Right now he was right she did have a lot of opportunity. Finding Silver Samurai and getting proper training from a real samurai and other skill upgrades would be good. Given the Avengers would be gentle and that could be harmful to any training.

"Welcome aboard," Blink smiled. A Deadpool? well, the conversation should be interesting she thought as the female neared her.

Aura turns to her friend even as she helps her up and follows, "Nothing really wrong. Just an odd feeling of confusion and lost in thought." She says answering but realizing something is off in her and wondering if she truly belongs in this team as she often does. "Just be happy for some down time I think!"

Gabby simply waves in acknowledgment when Tabitha mentions that she wants a beer first. All she says out loud is "Last one there is a rotten egg!" Gabby then teleports closer to where the beer is, not wanting to lose out. As she grabs a couple of beers, Gabby nods at the girl who welcomed and says, "Hey, how's it going?"

'Who is that?'

'I don't know, but play nice. She might be Tabitha's third BFF'

'Oooh, good point!'

Opening the beer and taking a sip with a satisfied sigh, Gabby waits for the trio to catch up to her. As she waits, Gabby examines the trio, given the whole dimension hopping story she had just been given. Tabitha and DD she knew, but the other girl, Tally was a different story.

'Who the hell is she? She better not take any of my beer! Wait, is she even old enough to drink?'

'Not even close, according to her character sheet.'

'Ok, good.'

Gabby looks around the room, Gabby brightens when she sees Spiderman and instantly teleports over so that she's next to him. "Spidey! How's it going?" Gabbys demeanour suggests that she knows Spiderman even though the two have never actually met.

DD nods, "ok, lets go," he says as he helps Tabby follow Gabby. "So you two go way back huh," he asks nodding towards Gabby. He leans close and whispers to her, "think she is going to come back with us?"

" Oh....," Glory's face flushed as she hesitated," I thought you wanted me to keep it. Uh yeah..., if you're going to be here long enough for that, I'd appreciate a few pointers. Shit, you better go, Mom is here." She pointed towards a group returning, including Ms. Marvel. "She got a little weird when I told her I met you, I can't imagine if she runs into you. Maybe we can try later, I'll distract her." She paused again before starting to walk towards the new arrivals, "and thanks."

Something grabbed his attention, and he saw his team was assembling, with others.

As the team assembled, with Deadpool joining them to drink their beer, Hawkeye gave her an odd look, the glanced a Wolverine, "Spidey is making friends. "You're clearly not Wade, there's more than one Deadpool here?"

Tabitha gave Aura a bit of a squeeze," Hey, if you didn't belong, we would have let you go with your family when they came calling, right?" She chuckled, but decided to let Gabby answer for herself. She looked at Daredevil and nodded, "Most likely. Blink, the old grump leave you with us for now?" She smiled, being one of the few that had met her Creed, before picking up a beer of her own, taking a drink before offering it to Daredevil.

Spider-Man stands adhered low to the wall drinking his beer when Gabby teleports next to him. "Ummm... Let me guess. Nightcrawler with one of those gizmos that makes him look less blue? The Hood's sister? Deadpool 2.0? Wait, you don't talk enough to be Deadpool." Spider-Man gives Gabby a hi-five and then says "But really, I'm not from here... who are you?"

Captain America nods. "Take care, Glory. Keep things safe." As he goes to meet with his team...

"Hawkeye, didn't know you had a man crush on the merc."

"Ya, I guess so. Even parents need a break from their kids now and then." she answered with smile.
