Realizing Blink wasn't with them, Cap gets on his communicard. "Any Avengers present? We've got Ghostsabre wired to the self-destruct. I could use Blink down here to teleport components away. Copy."

DD "looks" at the device GhostSabre is battling. He closes the distance and comes up beside her and tries to examine the crysatls and whatever is holding them in place. If he can he will reach out and touch the device and the arms or connectors for the crystals to try and find a weakness. "Hey Tabby," he says smiling, trying to lighten the mood. "See what happens when you run off alone? You know you don't have to do that anymore."

While he talks in as a calm a tone of voice as possible he is still trying to find a weekness in the device.

Spider-Man replies to Blink while walking up the outside of the tower. "Put an image of... I mean, I can try. I'm not Stark over here! But first, get us inside!"

"Right, A way in. Since I'm guessing cutting a door will take too long." opens a portal inside, "Stay frosty and be ready for anything." she spoke as her eyes glowed and a portal appeared.

"Save the lecture for later Daredevil." Ghostsabre replied tersely, " It was either this or we all ended up in orbit. Cap, I think if we can find something to jam in place the moment I phase, it should keep them apart. If we break them, it might set off the bomb. Either that or get everyone out and then I phase and we let it go off. I should be okay."

DD could tell the crystals were delicate and designed to shatter when pressed together.


Blink's portal into the control room appeared just as Cap's call came through.

"Alright people, let's see if we can find something to jam." Cap smiled. "I've got it. Blink, Daredevil - get me Militant's shield."

Aura having heard the call and missing the portal turns around with those in tow and starts to head back to see if she can make it to the portal to join the rest before it vanishes. "Sorry all I guess we go back!"

"Spidey just get there radars to see something that gets the Sentinals off planet. Nothing to fancy. And if you get this right I'll boast about it to Stark and make ya famous." she nodded with a grin going through with a pair pins at the ready.

Spider-Man steps through Blink's portal and begins looking around for any sort of computer interface that he might be able to use to control or confuse the Sentinels. "Hey, don't tell Stark, tell Jameson!"

If he finds a computer interface, he'll get to work telling the Sentinels' sensors that there is an incoming threat. He thinks outloud "Hmmm... Nova Corps? Silver Surfer? Stay Puft Marshmallow Man? All three? Don't mind if I do!"

As Spidey began to work his magic, he found he had worked with the same program before. It was more intricate, but it was a simple tracking program used by the control system to monitor the Sentinels. The bigger the threat he entered, the more Sentienels were returning. Oddly, it was the unknown entity of Marshmallow Man that seemed to get the biggest reaction and by the time he was done, there were nearly three thousand Sentinels on route to their location from around the world. The display showed they would start returning within the next ten minutes. It was then Cap's transmission came through..

Hawkeye's voice came over the indenticards of everyone. "I don't know what you guys did, but you have a world of hurt coming at you. All of Overlords forces are retreating and converging on that base. Get out of there!"


As Aura was returning to find the others, she saw one of the injured had disobeyed and somehow managed to stay behind. Glory looked at Aura and tossed her the old battered shield Bucky had been carrying," About time someone came by. Get this to Cap." She said before sitting down, her injuries taking hold. The portals had already closed.


"Cap, we don't have time. Take Daredevil and get out of here." Tabitha said softly. "I'll wait until I get your signal and will phase out. The blast should take out all of the Sentinels. I'll should be okay while phased."

"Stupid girl, always taking too many risks." Said a heavy Russian voice DD recognized as there was a flash of light. Mikhail Rasputan stepped through. "Why do you want to die, Tabitha?"

"I don't. Not any more, but we are running out of options." She replied.

"Then let us go before the Sentinels arrive." He opened another portal.

Aura not sure what to do at this point catches the shield and then debates on the next set of actions. As such she grabs the downed Glory and with the man in her other hand and then heads back in the same direction to see if she can catch up with the others.

"I'll tell both of them once were home, Webhead. Lets get out before we get blasted to smithereens too. I'd hate to lose anyone now...just when I'm getting used to you." Blink grinned as she reopened a portal and went through after the last of her team went through. She may not have been team leader but Cap trusted her to keep this crew safe.

Spider-Man finishes up his last few key strokes at the computer and runs for Blink's portal. "I can't believe that worked! Let's book it!"

[Dome]

DD put a hand on Tabitha's shoulder, "if you stay I stay. I'm not letting you go now," he says to her before he hears the Russian.

He pulls out his billy club, "think this may work," he asks jerking his head towards the crystals.
