"Stand down, Daredevil." Captain America states calmly as he removes his shield from his arm. He takes it in his hands - a weapon - a tool like no other he has known - the sole companion he has had all throughout his many years. "We all go home or no one goes home." He looks to Rasputin. "We get her clear and then we get everyone. I'm going to get Glory and any other stragglers." He looks at Tabitha. "On my mark, phase and get clear."
Captain America readies the shield. Goodbye, old friend. You did your duty, and no one could ask for more.
"MARK!" The Sentinel of Liberty drove his shield into the gap created as Tabitha phases.

As the shield came down, Cap could feel the momentary resistance as Ghostsabre's arm as she wait until he made contact before phasing out of the way. She cradled her hand, but showed no sign of being pain.
"Foolish girl and your stupid risks." Rasputin scowled before opening another portal. Tabitha responded with a snarled response of perfect Russian laced in profanity that made Mikhail blush but say nothing. Tab made eye contact With Cap, then leaned against Daredevil, her adrenaline waning.

Blink's portal opened up to find find a exhausted looking Hawkeye leaning against a battered Iron Man minus his helmet. Stark looked at the new arrivals," Well, you look like you're in better shape than the last bunch."
"Where are the others?" Hawkeye asked in concern looking past them.
Above, Glory guided Aura back to land between Wolverine and Spiderman. On the way they had seen several Sentinels heading towards the fortress but were able to avoid detection. Glory patted Aura on the shoulder in thanks, then looked at Blink, "Where's Hornhead and Tabby?"
Mikhail's portal opened behind Stark and Hawkeye, reuniting all the Avengers.
Tony smirked, "Are we going to have a moment?"

As the rest teams began to check in, Meltdown smirked at Gabrielle, " How is it every time I take you in a fight, you come out of it without a scratch?" The former X-Force leader however could not say the same, and looked lucky to be standing. She patted Gaby on the shoulder and walked off, presumably in search of help, but it was the strange gathering of heroes beyond that caught her attention. She knew Glory and had been friends with other X-Brat Ghostsabre for years, but it was the others that caught her attention. Most of them she knew were supposed to be long dead, yet they were there gathering and much younger than they should be.

Cap simply looked back to the base, where his shield rested, and gave a short salute.

When Meltdown asked Gabby how she comes out of fights without a scratch, Gabby grins underneath her mask and replies, “Who has two thumbs and is awesome at fighting?” Hitching her thumbs toward herself, Gabby answers her own question, “This gal!” Waving as Meltdown walks away, Gabby turns her attention to the more interesting group that's caught her attention. Surprised to see Tabby, Gabby's mind races as she tries to figure out how Tabby could be alive. She also wonders how the rest of the group looks a lot younger than they should.
She's alive!?!?! How is that possible?
Weapon X!?!?! Fountain of Youth!?!? Clone!?!
Let's go ask!!!
Gabby yells out to Tabby, before running over and crushing Tabby in a bear hug. "HEY TABBY!" Releasing her from the hug, Gabby asks, "How long has it been?" Before Tabby can answer, Gabby continues, "Wait, should I count that in RL time or game time? In RL time, it's been YEARS! Not sure about game time though." Shrugging, Gabby adds, "What happened to you!?! I thought you were dead!"

Seeing the portal open Aura takes whoever is with her and starts to head inside to see if she can help the others especially her closest and really only friend on the team. Once she is through she looks around to see what form of aid if any she can provide.

Spider-Man adheres to the closest vertical object and checks out his webshooters. "These dimensional excursions are hell on the wrists! I've gotta get checked out for repetitive spider syndrome over here!"

"you old guys are a bunch of wimps." Tabitha replied as she glanced up at Spidey, then smiled as Aura came to her side. With a look at Daredevil, she put her arm around Aura before being tackle hugged by Gabrielle. "Gabby! Ow... calm down. Good to see you too."
Glory scoffed, "As if things couldn't get any crazier. " She walked over to Cap, clearly in no shape to even be standing, and uttered, "Can we talk? Alone?"
Stark winked at Blink and then patted Wolverine on the back, "Why don't see if that trick sniffer can find us where Mikhail stashed the beer?"
"Come on Web Head." Hawkeye said, motioning for Spiderman to join in. "Quick Avengers lesson. When Cap isn't there to keep everything milk and cookies, follow Logan to find the beer." He smirked.
Blink found out why Iron Man had smirked as two clawed paws grabbed her from behind and pulled her into an embrace. "I'm glad you're safe kiddo."

"Sabretooth?.." she blurted out once confirming it was him and not the alternate sabretooth adds, "Ya I'm fine, but I nearly had a heart attack. And I'm glad your okay too. And Stark..I so owe you for that distraction..." she returns the hug to sabretooth with and a grin at Stark.

Aura happy at the situation is later confused at the person that is hugging her but decides to let it pass as all things will be explained she is sure in time. Until then though it is just in her place to smile and nod.

Gabby looks a bit confused when Tabby tells her to calm down. "What are you talking about? I am calm!" Looking around at the others, Gabby wonders what is going on, so she turns back to Tabby and asks, "What's going on?" Gesturing to the others, "I've heard talk of dimensional hopping? Which dimension are we talking about?"
Have you noticed, she never answered our question?
Oh yeah! If she doesn't answer, maybe she is a clone! Or a different Tabby from another dimension! She may not be the Tabby we know!!! We should ask again!
Gabby fold her arms under her chest as she asks again, "So, what happened? I thought you were dead?"
