"OK. Just one second. Everyone move away from the shaft, please." Charger says. When everyone's clear, he'll set As much of one of the support beams/ladders/ventilation ducts as he can charge to blow with a timed charge. "Everyone get as close to the hanger as possible and stay away from this shaft." He says, authoritatively.

"If there's helicopters on top of that floor, Captain, then we're best blowing a door." He sounds happy at the prospect of trying. "I'll be blowing out the door's hinges, if anyone needs me."

With that, Charger runs along roof towards the hanger, pausing with glee at the sound of the timed charge going off. Then will run to the top of the door, using his grab-ity plane power, to get to the top and blow the guide wheels, only touching them with the tips of his fingers, if he has to. In true style, he'll ride the door as it falls when the supports are gone... that's the plan, anyways.

Dante grabs the knife, "this should only take a second," he says, closing his eyes and opening his mind to read the object. (Object Read = ISP6, Impressions 62% roll = 07%, Images 56% roll = 22%, duration = 6 minutes(2d6))

"The heavy fighting will be inside, not outside, no one goes in alone." Tiger responds to Wind Chill. She then looks to Shroud, "Cover us, but stay close. I don't want you out here still fighting when those things get back to the top."

Dante gets the following impressions: (The last owner is technically Wind Chill, so I'll skip those parts). It has been used by supernatural forces and is unholy, magic, but not sentient. The knife isn't overwhelmingly evil but using it will irritate any good person though the distaste of using the evil weapon probably won't grow over time. More like a vegetarian eating eggs - it just feels wrong. Images: The knife was used on people, and brutally so, and when the wolf owned the knife, it frequently devoured its victims after killing them with the knife. Not a pretty picture.

Jeckle traces the phone number to a pay phone inside the city airport. There isn't any code in the message, and even the words used ('your brother') suggest the sender knows of her brother but isn't him. She also realizes that the caller has her phone number on the encrypted phone Tiger handed out. How did they get the number?

As Charger opens the hanger door, bullets and lasers start to rain down onto the roof from about six different sniper positions. Shroud and Tiger return fire, Tiger launching grenades from her under rifle attachment and blowing apart pieces of the nearby buildings, "Go! Get moving!" Tiger shouts to everyone except Shroud, even as she moves slowly backwards towards the blown door herself.

The hanger door is bent open. Right after Charger blasts it open, Patriot charges in.

Dante reaches out and hands Windchill back the knife. As they start running he explains, "its laced with dark magic. It was used for some bad things. I would be careful with how often you use it. It doesn't seem like it could become a problem, but from the things I've heard about unholy magic, I suggest you be very careful."

As he runs, Dante pauses to reach down and grabs the collapsible night sticks out of his boots. He extends them as he runs preparing to fight hand to hand whoever they come across.

Charger watches the door bend and crease, disappointedly, hoping for a whole-sale crash. "Oh! The locks! Duh." As the firefight continues, Charger merrily heads over to locks on the big doors, blowing them, then pushing the doors aside for the helicopters to escape. "Fly! Be free from this oppressive prison!" He calls encouragingly to the Whily-birds.

Miranda follows the others and takes the knife back from Dante. "thanks for the tip." she replies, and then adds smirks, "No pun intended"

Inside the hanger, once the others follow Patriot in it is hard to tell who or what is inside, although it is very easy to tell that the hanger is very well defended.

Just inside the door Patriot stands with his guns out. He is looking for something, searching the darkness and stretching out with his powers.

When Dante gets inside, a Minotaur leaps towards him. He realizes instantly that the Minotaur is no more than an illusion, indeed, the rest of the team doesn't appear to notice it. There is also a lack of sound from the illusion.

When Wind Chill enters, Patriot spins and says, "Here they come." He points his guns at a spot a few yards in front of Wind Chill and freezes, standing stock still. He doesn't pull the trigger, remaining motionless as the unseen force that only Patriot could see punches Wind Chill in the face. She can't see her attacker at all.

As Charger enters he finds no apparent enemies in his way.

Jeckle arrives and immediately a circle of flame surrounds her. She is in the center of the circle, which is about thirty feet wide. The flames are thirty feet high and five feet thick.

Tiger and Shroud are still exchanging fire with the snipers outside, and have not yet entered.

*for Jeckle, the information from the call about her brother being close to facing the second fire surrounding her .. she reacts with a simple gasp and then dropping to the knees and covers her head with her arms and rocks back and forth. her mind TRYING to figure out what's going on.

[ ooc - anychance of her brain clicking over its a game in her mind? .. if she's not feeling the heat burning her she'll figure it out soon enough .. i hope .. =p ... ]

O.O.C.: Only Dante is facing any illusions, the rest of the attacks are real, nothing one can save against. The circle of flame is plenty hot and would cause real damage to anyone touching it. Unlike Dante's illusion, it makes noise, shows up on thermal and it real - though it is obviously controlled by someone and not a "normal" fire.

Stunned by the unexpected punch in the face, Miranda gasps and immediately reacts by showering her immediate area with ice, hoping it would help her determine approximately where her attacker is in the hopes that he/she can't get the drop on her like that again.

*Jeckle can barely think clearly now. all she can do now is relive the horror once again. relive the pain and the slow recovery. she gives one cry of distress ... "nooooooooooooo" ... and then collapses to the side and curls up in a ball and shudders from time to time.

*she's lucky in the fact that her clothing will protect her body, just her head is exposed but covered by the arms at this moment. she worries about her brother, and how he'll react to her death. would he even care? as her mind shuts down from outright fear, her last coherant thought is ...o0(i'm so sorry Heckle, so sorry)

Ignoring the illusion, Dante calls upon his psychic powers one last time to bring up his pcychic night vision which should allow him to see around them. (isp 4 Range 600, Duration 40minutes)

Wind Chill is able to understand that the creature she has dropped snow on is around ten feet tall. At the same time another one pushes her in the back - there are two of them. While is being shoved the first one dives off into the hanger and disappears from view.

Dante is unable to see the creatures attacking Wind Chill, nor is he able to find the person creating the Minotaur illusion.

When Shroud and Tiger finally retreat into the hanger door, still exchanging fire with those outside, two figures appear to attack them. A cloaked woman steps out of a shadow near Shroud and blasts lightning at him using a wand.

The one who appears to attack Tiger simply materializes out of thin air. He already has out unusual looking weapon, huge and with lots of style. He looks a bit surprised as Tiger shoots him first, but the smiles as he shots do no damage - hitting a faint glow about him as if he were armored.

Charger finds there is an invisible wall in front of him, dividing him from the rest of the team, when he walks into it.

Oh my god! No! I'm a mime! No... wait... that can't be right... I'm not wearing a tuxedo... Let's just feel around until the wall ends. If it's too wide, I'll just go over it." He thinks to himself as he tries to figured out how big the wall is. I wonder if they can hear me from this side of the wall.

[Dome]

"I cannot find our attackers even with nightvision. Windchill, put out the fire around Jeckle if you can."

Dante then thinking that maybe those attacking are using invisibilty, quickly reaches into his coat and puts on the sunglasses Jeckle handed him when they met. He puts them on and switches to infrared.
