The wolf fell, losing his grip on the ledge. "You're welcome." Tiger responds to Shroud.

Tiger calls to Charger to help them up the wall once the flames die down and soon the entire team is on the roof.

Now that they have a chance to look around, everyone can see four helicopter pads, a huge hanger door on a taller, connected building which rises another fifteen stories. Both buildings are wide, giving them much more interior space than the surrounding, taller buildings.

Tiger gestures to the rest of the team, "Patriot, Shroud, Cerebrum, Jeckel, Wind Chill and Tiger." She says to Charger, pointing each team member in turn, including herself. "Though you may continue to call me Captain." She says with a smile.

"Now, it won't take very long for those werewolves to climb up the shaft and it looks like we are terribly exposed here." It is true, the surrounding taller building all afford numerous vantage points to target them.

"My guess is that there is an ambush inside the hanger door and snipers outside who will start shooting us in the back as soon as we manage to open said door." She thinks for a moment.

"Wind Chill, can you extinguish chemical fires, like the grenades the wolves were using?"

Miranda nods in greeting at Charger and says in response to Tiger's question. "I think so, I haven't found a fire yet I haven't been able to put out though I'm not 100% sure I can use snow or ice to put out a chemical fire."

Tiger thinks for another second. "If you can't put out the fire right away we'll be sitting ducks. These grenades burn underwater. Charger, can you use your power to make the whole hanger door or a big section explode?"

At that moment, Jeckle gets a text message on her phone. [Your brother is at the Century Station airport.]

Miranda shrugs "I can go in on my own since fire doesn't hurt me. If I can't put out the fire, I'll come back out as quickly as I can. If I can, everyone else can follow me inside."

Charger's voice brightens. "No harm in trying, now is there?" Turning to Windchill, he adds, "Why do they call you winchill if you control fire, too?" Grinning, he adds, "You know what would be really fun, though? Imploding the door." Turning back to Tiger, he says, "I'll need a physicist, a research grant and Bob Dole. Or... failing that, I can blow off the guide wheels or something."

Upon making it to the roof, Dante makes his way over to Jeckle. "Hey there, the fires all out. How are you feeling," he asks while reaching out to grab his over coat from her. "I told you everything would be ok, didn't I?"

Turning to the group he says, "was anyone able to do more to these wolfs then just throw them off the building? I unloaded a few shotgun blasts, and that just barely slowed them down a little. Then I hit him with his own grenade and it just seemed to piss him off. So anyone ding these guys at all?"

* Jeckle just nods at Dante's voice. she's staring at the phone, and then checks to see WHO sent her the text. this doesn't seem to be her brother's actions.

*she goes back in her mind to see if there had been a code for something like this and hopes it wasn't a message about a body. right now? she figures its a way to get her away from the team. she knows her borther would have called her by JC or called himself as JD. this, has her worried just now, even if every instinct is to go run to the airport.

To Charger, Miranda replies with a shrug"I started out with the power to control ice, so I came up with a nickname that described that. The fire power is a new thing, and I'm still learning how it works. I tend to gain new powers every few years."

"Oh, hey. Upgradable. Nice." Charger says. "I didn't do any hurt to them, no." He looks around, trying to ID sniper spots. If I were a sniper, where would I be? Well, besides home in a cozy chair. And, using his skills, looks around some more. (Intelligence 56%/ rolled 51% pass; Surveillance 55%/rolled 23% pass, Undercover Ops 60%/ rolled 58% pass (barely )) "Captain, have you given any though to coming up through the floor?"

Khris nodded to Charger when introduced. He turned to Dante," No luck here. dumped a bloody magazine into one and he just blinked. I suggested ordering some silver bullets, but Tigger thinks it's a waste of money. Bosskitty," he turned to Tiger," want me to go up and play rifle tag again while the rest of you find a way out?"

[Mierin]

Realizing she'd completely missed Dante's question, she turns to him and replies "Actually, I did have a bit of luck." Holding up the knife she'd taken from the were, she continues "I stabbed one of the were's with his own knife and it actually seemed to hurt him. It felt weird when I stabbed him, and even just holding the knife feels unnatural." If anyone tries to take it away from her, she'll snatch it back and chide "Hey! You see with your eyes, mate, not with your hands!"

" Calm down woman" Khris snapped back as Miranda pulled the knife away. " Bollocks, just because your powers are hot and cold donna mean your personality has to be." He cracked a smirk to show he was onlt teasing.

[Dome]

"Really? You have a weapon they were carrying? I pretty weary, but maybe if you let me hold the knife, just for a moment, I can pickup more information about them, and why this particular knife was able to do damage," Dante says as he points at the knife.

He does not try to take the knife, instead he extends his hand palm upwards and waits to see if she will hand it to him. He says, "I will only hold it as long as it takes to read it."

He replies, "They got out of the way of my disc, but I never connected. That knife seems to be the only thing." He looks at it curiously, he too wants to find out what it is.

[Tiger]

"I don't want to rush anyone, but half a dozen indestructible werewolves are at this moment climbing back up here, and I'd like to be through the door and much farther away before they get here."

She turns to Charger, "That is a great plan - can you do enough damage to come in through the floor? It will be cement and girders - strong enough to hold the weight of a few helicopters."

[Mierin]

Miranda glances over at Shroud and chuckles quietly at his remark.

Looking curious Miranda nods at Dante and hands him the knife, wondering how he was going to accomplish this, and wondered if it would give them any information on the werecreatures that had attacked them. "I don't want to be her any longer than you do, but you never answered my question about me going in ahead of the others.
