He pauses at the door of the cargo hold. He hits the pad for the door to open. He turns to her and smiles, "just checking. You know, your even cuter when your surprised," he says winking.

"Ass." McKenna chuckled as she folded her arms and waited for the door to open. " Keep it up, fly boy, and you'll see my grumpy side." She strutted past Flip, intentionally swaying her hips a bit more than usual as she approached the freight.

Flip watches her walk by and doesn't hide his stare. He says, "yours is excellent." He walks up towards her but stays behind her. "So is there a manifest we are checking against, or are we making our own count of this stuff," he says as he looks around the cargo hold.
He says to her, "you know why I wanted to help you right?"

"I was just doing a hard count. Captain never said whether it is legitimate cargo or not, and if it is legit, each crate should be identified. If it's a little underhanded, there won't be any list in case we get boarded. You don't keep it in the computer either if it is on the level, since that gives any pirates with a good slicer an easy look at a desirable cargo to hit." McKenna explained as she turned to Flip, brushing her hair from her face. "I assumed you wanted to help a friend and didn't mind spending some time with me."

"Actually my first thought was spending time with you. Alone time, just you and me, with no sign of the mechanic stopping in mid conversation," Flip says stepping closer. "I also wanted to help, and had nothing else to do until the boss gives me something. I mean I fly the ship and the ship is parked."
He reaches over and moves some hair behind her ear, "seems we never did get to finish our conversation, you know the one that has been hanging over us pretty much since we started this cruise," he says to her.

Jessica then heads to the engine room to let Mensk know that they would be headed out shortly. Once she finds him, Jessica tells Mensk, "I've just talked to the Captain. He wants you, Foreman and myself to head out to get some of the stuff on the list you gave hi mand to try to scare up some reputable passengers. We're leaving in 15 minutes. Get ready and meet me in the galley." Jessica adds, "If you see Foreman, tell him to meet me there as well in 15 minutes." Jessica waits to see if Mensk has any questions.

She assumed the packing info is on the shipping crates, or that it is in the computer. Both are probably wrong, but being formerly governmently employed, it is how she would expect to find them] McKenna looked at Flip, biting her lower lip as she touched her face," And which conversation is that?" she asked softly. The same sensation that had come over her when they had been trapped without gravity together. |

"understood, I could use a little social time probably." he nodded and took off the work one piece suit and put on a jacket and followed her. underneath the one piece suit were his ussual black shirt and black pants, with hiking style shoes (full Safety toe heel and shank of course), "This outfit should do..its fairly clean." Mengsk followed until a way to galley came up or they found Foreman which ever happened first. |

Flip runs his hand from her ear down her shoulder and down the back of her arm, "you know the conversation I mean. The one about us. The one we never finish," he says reaching her fingers.
He smiles, "how's your racquet ball injury? You know that day, turning my back was the last thing I wanted to do, but my mom raised a gentleman, and I didn't think Jess wanted me there."

As Flip touched her fingertips, McKenna couldn't help but slide her hand into his. " Flip... I, ..." her voice trailed off as she merely looked at him. "Hell, I wish the two of you could get along long enough for me to drag you both back to my quarters to have my way, and wouldn't make me choose between you. Not that the captain will ever let anything happen on his ship." She could only stand there. " So call me greedy, but I don't want to have to choose."

Flip shrugs, "know what? I'll take whatever I can get. If I have to share you, just to get some time with you, I'll learn to live with that."
He picks up her hand and kisses the back of it, "your right though, the captain is very particular about what happens on his ship. So while I would love to take this further, for now, lets get this count done, ok MJ? Cause what's running through my mind right now, is not something we should even think of doing in the cargo hold on a clients cargo."
He lets her hand slip from his, and says, "we can work and talk though right?"

"I agree," said Tawfeek.
"McKenna, you'll need this." He put the cargo list in her hands.
He turned and looked Foreman dead in the eye. "And Foreman, try not to kiss anything else, huh?"
With that, Tawfeek left.

"Uh, that's captain." McKenna accepted the manifest," I guess everything isn't labelled like what I'm used to then." She blushed a bit and as she watched Tawfeek leave, she shook her head," That man has to be twins the way he gets everywheres." She turned on Flip quickly and gave him a quick passionate kiss, then backed up and held up the manifest. " Captain said for you not to kiss anything, but didn't tell me. Let's get this stuff inventoried before we find anymore rats."
