Jessica nods at McKenna with a smile and says, "I'm sure we'll be picking up supplies while we're on the planet if we get the chance." Jessica looks up at the sound of Tawfeek's announcement to go see him in his quarters and stands up and says to McKenna with a sincere smile, "Thanks for the food. It was great."
Jessica then heads to Tawfeek's quarters and, once she's entered the room, asks, "You wanted to see me?"

"Don't know about great, but better than plain old tomato soup." McKenna smirked as she was starting to tidy up. Hearing the captain's page, she waved," Have fun." then made sure the soup would was secured in case the landing got rough, or they didn't stay long.

Flip continues to push the craft towards the landing zone, "this is so much fun. Avoid the soup, watch out for the thicker soup, land on the dots."
Flip Guides the craft towards the landing lights hoping to touch down safely without any sudden impact.

Everywhere
Despite Foreman's best work, the atmosphere wouldn't allow a smooth landing. The ship shook and buffetted as it flew towards the landing platform.
Tawfeek's quarters
As the door closed, Tawfeek sat on his couch, as much to keep from falling as anything.
"The others are going to be restless," Tawfeek said. "I want to keep McKenna on the ship with me, until the deal is done. Can I trust you to take Foreman and Mensk on a field trip?"
He grinned. "I mean, without a repeat of what happened on Mars."
In Engineering Whatever Foreman was doing, the micro-adjustments to attempt a steady flight were taxing the systems a little.
With the atmospheric propulsion kicking in and with the buffetting, it was hard to hear anything but engines.
In the Galley THe shaking made clean-up a lot harder than usual. At least the food was secure.

McKenna glared around the galley at the mess being created by the landing and scowled,"Next time, everyone waits until after we touch down to eat." she sputtered as she fought a losing battle

Flip tries to fight the pounding the ship is taking, he toggles comms, "going to put her down. Hold on everyone."
He pushes the ship for the landing platform and brings her in for a landing. Doing his best to put her down in one piece.

Bridge
At the very last second, Foreman caught wind of a gust (heh) on his sensors. However, he tragically overcompensated, causing the ship to lurched sideways.
Gomez Adams "Lurch!"
Everywhere Everything moved suddenly to the left, including floors, consoles and counters. Dishes and pans and light objects not nailed down were excluded, having, by some unseen election, chosen to move firmly to the right. McKenna's soup changed it's mind, moving left, afterall. Then right... then left, and jiggled before stopping.
Bridge
"Galaxy, re-align, you're off centre! Galaxy, Re-align to starboard, you are off Centre!" Stated a firmly concerned voice in the control tower."Repeat, Galaxy, re-align to starboard, you are off-centre."

("You Rang?")
McKenna sputtered and tried to hang on as the ship began going through maneuvers. She looked at the mess being created and sighed," Well, I know what I'll be doing while everyone else gets to go out while we're planetside. It'll take that long to clean this mess up."

Seeing as the flying was not working Mengsk looked at the settings and set up a balanced thrust to slow down the ship and level the flying. He was going to give the pilot a chance to settle it first as his figures were off. Since the last thing he wanted to do was interfere with anyone and show anyone up...But he would be ready and make sure he was not going to make things worse so awaited to see how the bridge handled it first while he redid his figures.

Flip cringes as the ship lurches to the side, he grits his teeth and tries to compensate and then set the ship down in the pad. He doesn't spare a moment to answer the tower, apologize to the crew or anything as his eyes flick between the sensor output and the piloting computer while his hands remained locked on the controls.

Tawfeek's Quarters
Tawfeek stood up, just as the ship landed with a safe, satisfying thump.
"Just get them out. Find us paying work, reputable passengers - if there are any," Tawfeek headed for his door, handing Jessica a truncated version of Mensk's list - mostly lower-priced, common supplies. "And let our engineer see what the seedy underbelly looks like."
He stopped before opening the door. "No-one gets harmed, or arrested, unless they screwed up, got it?"
He then left.
Bridge
"Landing complete, Galaxy" said the voice in the control tower. "Well done. De-activate engines and prepare for seal and quaranteen."
Even as the voice spoke, Foreman could see the ship lowering into the sealable bay.
Galley
As McKenna started cleaning up the galley, she could see the encroaching darkness as the ship was swallowed by the landing bay.
"What are you doing?" Tawfeek asked, quickly bending down to help her pick stuff up. "You should be memorizing what was in those crates. Go."
Engines
Mensk could sense that the ship had landed, and most likely landed safely.

Flip powers down the engines, "Control this is Galaxy. Engines powering down, we're all yours."
Flip shuts down all the systems and then leans back and stretches. "Nothing like landing in soup."

"I should be what?" McKenna looked up at Tawfeek. " What the heck are you talking about?"

Taking the list, Jessica follows Tawfeek out of his quarters and replies, "Understood."
