AVENGERS MANSION - MANHATTAN Captain America sits at the conference table in the Avengers meeting room. Each of the chairs is has a decal for the individual members. Spider-Man - the Spider-logo on the front of his costume. Daredevil - the "DD" logo (not that he'd notice) Wolverine - three pairs of crossing claws She-Hulk - a Green gamma symbol (the greek letter) Aura - A blue-white halo Hawkeye - a bow and arrow Songbird - A pink musical note X-23 - the number "23" in red. Cap gestures for everyone to sit. "Apologies for the late start; I was just informed that Hawkeye would be spending time on the West Coast, so they sent over the esteemed Ms. Walters to fill-in. Good to have you back, Jen." Cap smiles. Songbird waves before starting. "At this point, I recognize Captain America as Chairman and call the meeting to order. Chairman, you have the floor." "Thank you, Songbird." Cap stands as a holo images emerge from the table showing footage of the battle with the "Masters of Evil" in Hell's Kitchen. "I think it's time we addressed this newest incarnation of the Masters of Evil, and their leader, a new Baron Zemo." Cap's brow furrows as that statement. "To that end, I've decided to bring in some consultants. I believe some of you have already met them. " A trio of figures walk in. .png/250px-Fixer_(comics).png) "ooh, the big table. And with a Kree holo-imager. Can I get the specs for that when we're done? I think I could put Cameron out of business inside of a week!" The thin man rubs his hands together. Cap shakes his head. "I'm afraid not. This is Mr. Paul Nor-" "Fixer, Cap. Please. I took my name for a reason. My real name suuuucks." Fixer smiles as he takes a seat and swivels in it a few times. "And most of you have already met Erik Josten, formerly Goliath and now Atlas. He's applying for Avengers status and currently serving as a consultant with the Commission for Superhuman affiars." .jpg) The big man stays at 10 feet tall as he walks in. "Uhm...hey. thanks for the help back in the Kitchen." He gives an awkward thumbs-up. Cap looks at the crew. "Songbird, wasn't there one other? Mr. Jenkins." Songbird sighs. "Yes." A long pink tendril of energy reaches out into the hall as nervous man with dark black hair slowly comes in. Daredevil can hear his heart pounding like the proverbial jackhammer and Spider-Man immediately recognizes the face that was normally behind the armor of his old foe - the Beetle.  "uhm...hi." He says meekly. "Mr. Jenkins currently serves as a joint technical consultant to Stark Enterprises and the Commission. Mr. Jenkins, it's good to have you. Now, let's begin." |

DD sits in the chair that was assigned to him. He had run his fingers over the chair while waiting and discovered his symbol on it. As he sits, he wonders where Tabitha was and why she wasn't here. He was also wondering if he should stick around and stay an Avenger. He wasn't a fan of all the pomp the Avengers seemed to put behind everything. He understood the need for information gathering and research, but a huge conference table with engraved chairs was a little much for him.
He sits and listens as "The Chairman" starts the meeting. Matt Murdock does his talking in rooms like this. Usually when he is wearing his costume, as DD, he was taking action. He shifts his weight in the chair, obviously uncomfortable. He thinks, 'man sitting in this leather is uncomfortable.'
He was in costume as up till now he had not revealed to any who he really was.

Aura sits and just watches the people realizing that unlike most in the room she still does not recognize a single person that just entered, but realizes that this will be the norm until some time is spent with education. Still it is true she is meeting people.
While waiting though she does contemplate her symbol which the more she thinks about it the more she likes.

"Glad to be back, Cap." Jen Walters said. The Sensational She-Hulk, the emerald amazon and cousin to the Hulk. She was in her familiar leotard and fitted slacks to match her size. "I heard you were facing stiff opposition and needed someone to help knock it down."
Jen raises a brow at the new comers entering the room. They weren't unknown to her, mostly by reputation. Things must have been bad to bring them here. She waits though, hearing them out as she observes them. Like a good lawyer, she wasn't going to voice her opinions, yet.

Knowing she was running a little late, Tabitha rushed in to the meeting room, phasing through the door insteadf of stopping to open it. As she did, she stopped quickly at the sight of two strangers and the guy that had helped them at the bar fight, though she couldn't remember his name. "I'm sorry I'm late"" she said, offering no excuse as she took her seat, dragging her fingers acrossed the symbol on the back, a stylized G with the tail formed into a saber. She had to remember to thank Jarvis again for his help coming up with the design. She looked across the table at another new arrival, this one she couldn't help but recognize and offered a nod to She Hulk. "If I had known we had company coming, I would have made sure I was on time."

Kitty had been a little surprised to be brought into the meeting, not being an Avenger and all. Even more surprised when she'd been asked if there was some sort of symbol that could be put on her chair, to indicate her seating position. Eventually, she settled on an inky-black silhouette of a stalking cat that was solid at the front, but seemed to fade away towards the rear.
Settled at that seat now, she sat through the 'introductions' quietly, watching the three enter with some curiosity. Like Daredevil she wasn't feeling particularly comfortable, particularly with the formality, being used to the more relaxed (by comparison at least) setting of the School.
As Ghostsabre enters, Kitty offers her a smile and a nod of welcome, before turning her attention back to the Captain.

The three erstwhile Thunderbolts take seats across from the Avengers.
Cap shows the holo-image the new Goliath. "This was the first one we encountered - a former actor with a grudge against Simon Williams. We don't have any idea if his powers are based on Pym particles, Ionic energy or some combination of both."
Atlas chimes in. "Probably Ionic. I could almost smell it on him."
Cap nods. "Duly noted. Then there was the robot that accosted Vision in Las Vegas."
The Fixer smiles. "Ah, the Techno-bot. Someone must have reactivated it and used a download of my brain patterns to make up for the lack of my consciousness driving around."
Songbird shakes her head. "Paul, that will never not be creepy."
Fixer shugs. "Hey, don't knock it' till you've tried it. But yeah, that's a Pym-style mental imprinting on my old robot form. Clever stuff really."
"And then there's this new Beetle." Cap looks at Abe, who is rubbing the back of his neck.
The former Beetle speaks in a worried tone. "Yeah, that's one of the Mark II models. Looks like they added in some of the features I never got around to - vector thrust, EMP sheilding. It's all my work, and none of the credit. Typical." He spits out. Songbird gives him a short look and rolls her eyes.
"How dangerous is it?" Cap asks.
Abe responds. "Well, depends on your benchmark. But depending on what they did with the frame? I'm thinking a top speed at around 300 mph with vector thrust capabilities to let it turn on a dime. Sonic weapons in addition to the heavy blasters. Probable lifting capacity around 4-5 tons, and full spectrum optics and ECM."
Cap nods. "Thank you. Then we have Joystick. Noted criminal hitter. She's the part I can't quite understand-"
"Jolt." Atlas interrupts.
"Jolt?" Songbird raises an eyebrow.
"Sorry Mel." Atlas looks embarrassed. "Mel - uh, Songbird and I were talking after the last fight. She mentioned that it looks like this team was meant to resemble the original T-bolts line up, and that would have to include Jolt. So they've got this super fast agile fighter girl-"
"Good theory. Thank you, Atlas." Cap gives a small smile. "then there's Screaming Mimi."
Songbird folds her arms and scowls, so it's Fixer who responds. "Easy enough to develop the same implants Songbird used to have for someone else."
"She can fight too." Songbird adds.
"And that leads us to the last two on the list - Moonstone." All four of the former T-bolts cringe. "...and this new Baron Zemo."
Fixer tosses off a grin. "yeah, it's not Helmy, I'll tell you that much. Helmy never liked mixing it up as much as this guy. And I'm thinking Karla - Moonstone, that is, has him wrapped around her finger."
"Thank you for making this even more unpleasant, Paul." Songbird adds in. "OK Cap, so that's all we got. Do we have a a plan to go after these guys?"
Cap looks at the assembled team. "I'd like your thoughts first."

"I have no input of any value I do not think." Aura offers but just for most part sits there mostly dumbfounded and hopes maybe Tabitha will help sort it out later.

"I don't know about the rest of the Thunder Bolts, but Moonstone can be an epic pain in the butt." Shulky says.
"I mean can't she pick a side that doesn't involve her going back to prison every time."
She shakes her head and props her chin up with her hand.

Captain America pauses considering the words of the others. "So, in that case, the new Zemo is the biggest mystery, and there's only one way to resolve that."
Songbird frowns slightly. "I'll prep the Quinjet."
Captain America nods. "Avengers, get ready for a trip to Germany. Castle Zemo is our next destination." He turns to Fixer, Abe, and Atlas. "Thank you all for your time."
Abe, the former Beetle, nods nervously. "Sure...can we go now?" His eyes never stop looking at Spider-Man.
