Aura takes a look around and overhears Tabitha say kids and assumes that means she is included and happy to tag along and moves along side Tabitha. "I am cool to go and explore this creepy castle."

"Are you two going to knock holes in walls, or knock walls down? I just wanna know, cause I usually run across rooftops and if too many walls come down, eventually those rooftops will too, and well, I'd like to know what to look out for," DD says with a smile.
"So are we really just gonna go meet with him like he said, or should we all split up and ask questions our own way," DD asks to the group.

There is an audible sigh over the radio. "Captain, please inform your Avengers how radio and communications systems work. It will do you a world of good in the future." A few seconds later, you see this figure emerge from the castle. (NOTE: He appears the same as in this picture, with a single glowing stone instead of two. Those of you whom encountered the other Zemo in Hell's Kitchen realize this is not the same guy - the one you fought stateside was taller and thinner).  "Greetings Captain." There is a hint of venom in his words to the Captain that are not present when he addresses the rest of the team. "and to you, Avengers. Please, I mean no harm and wish no conflict with you, but I ask you not to damage my family's home - restoration services are very costly these days." Atlas and Songbird are tense and unmoving in Zemo's presence. Daredevil can hear their hearts race, especially the drumbeat of Atlas' enlarged heart. "Melissa, Josten - it is good to see you again and in good health." He makes a slight bow to the two before looking at the rest of the team. "A mighty assemblage, Captain - you are to be commended. Now, I understand you have questions. I will be a good host and answer them, but please, let us go inside - not all of you will be comfortable with the autumn weather in this region and I have prepared refreshments." |

Aura just leans over to Tabitha, "I have a strong feeling that this is the bad guy we are to face. He seems to be wearing a lot purple and what is it with spandex on men. I mean I don't care about their, their, um, package. Yes saw that used on tv so must mean something." Trying to keep quiet so not to interrupt the grownups.

"Autumn chill? I'm from New York, this is nothing," DD says to the man.
He walks up and puts a reassuring hand on the shoulders of Atlas, and Songbird. He says nothing, but from the sounds of their hearts, he can tell they need some reassurance.
He wants to say more to the criminal, but he knows being an Avenger, he has to let Captain America lead the way, so he looks to them.

Tabitha couldn't hold in the snicker at Aura's comment. " We're gonna have to fix that opinion." She said lowly, looking at the Baron. " That's not the guy you fought before though, is it?"

Kitty is a little taken-aback by the events, frowning a little in response to Baron Zemo, then glancing to the Captain for some guidance.

She wait till they move out, following along, but keeping her eyes peeled. Just because everyone was acting all nice doesn't mean everything was okay.

Captain America pauses for a moment. "What's your game Zemo?"
"Game, Captain? I'm trying to be a good host here and offer you something after a long trip. I am not interested in simple brawls over slights or agendas. I know why you are here, and I do have some of the answers you seek. I am even interested in providing them. For a price. " Zemo steps inside the castle.
Cap and the others follow. Atlas shrinks down to normal height to make it through the castle corridors. Eventually, the team reaches a main hall where Zemo ascends a set of stairs to sit on an intricately carved wooden throne. "Ah. Nothing like guests to entertain. Please, make yourselves at home. I believe I can have chairs fetched for you."
"What's your game, Zemo?" Songbird barks. "Or are you too busy enjoying your 'Lord of Manor' game?"
"Ah, the Songbird finds her voice." You can almost see a smile beneath the purple hood.
"Very well, I will state my case. I am bored, you see. I am a Zemo - a man meant for greater things. While I have tried many times to impress this upon the world -"
"You mean trying to take it over?" Atlas interrupts.
"Ah, Erik, you're finally learning to speak your heart." The Baron claps. "Are you free of that life of doubt and bad decisions? Have you learned to live with your ghosts as well?"
The big man steps back.
"I will take that as a work in progress then, my old friend." Zemo continues. "I do not wish what my fathers had - they were good men, great even for their times. My father, Heinrich, for example." Zemo pauses and you can see Captain America tense up. Zemo lets the moment drag on. "was the Reed Richards of his day. He built wonders, or horrors, I won't lie - World War II was not a pleasant time. His work was world-changing. But the world has grown too small for me, and too obstinate. I do not wish to settle for endless battle with wills strong enough to stymie me and minds too small to appreciate to me. So, I wish to leave - to find a new world that will...appreciate one such as myself. And here you are, Captain, with an extradimensional in your presence." He shifts his gaze to Tabitha.
Melissa's eyes widen "How did he-?"
"Probably the same doohickeys he used to find me, Mel." Atlas grows an extra couple of feet, his fists clench.
"Get to the point, Zemo." Cap's words are daggers.
"Very well, Captain. I propose an exchange - my information for the opportunity to run some tests on your companion to find a means to live this reality and find another. What say you?"

Tabitha couldn't say she was flattered with the idea, but she knew they had to get the information. "I doubt a few simple tests will tell you much, but if that's what it takes then I want to know what sort of tests you are proposing?" to be honest, she didn't understand how the Timekeeper had brought her to join the Exiles, but she did know there was nothing to do with her that would explain how she had come to this world to join the Avengers.
"As long as my teammates are permitted to supervise and I know what to expect, I'll consider going along with those terms."

Aura still nearby talks to Tabitha, "Are you sure you want to be tested. I mean who knows what they can lead to but I guess it is your choice after all." Shifting so her back is to zemo and she is looking eye to eye with Tabitha.

Ghostsabre smiled lightly and patted Aura on the shoulder," It's okay, I won't say yes until I know what the tests are, and I know the rest of you won't let him do anything to harm me. We need this guys help to figure out who is behind the new MAsters of Evil so we can stop them. "
