"Jeezbus! There's a lot of em!" "We can't hold'em off for long!"
Caleb hears the voice of the evil mage above him. "Invisibility will not protect you, fool." Caleb begins to hear a chant that is cut off the loud snap of bones. You hear Augustus voice as he grabs you. "Alright buddy, time to pull back."

Caleb responds "I can't see, I'll let you lead" and follows Augustus as best he can.

"The blind invisible man? Well, ain't that something?" Augustus laughs as he drags you away.
It's a few minutes before you regain your sight, by which time your invisibility spell has faded. You are now back in the small basement where you first met the Mayerts brothers. Augustus smirks. He holds out a small gold charm on the end of his necklace - a pendant of Thoth. "Seems we each got some secrets, huh? What say we try this again? You first this time?"

"Uh yeah, I know a few spells which is why I was looking into the Zombies. I prefer not to advertise and keep what I do with them on the down low. I found the zombies with astral projection, and was planning on outing them before I met you and knew the extent of the problem since I mostly work with illusions, and didn't exactly show up packing enough ordinance to shoot up half the town".

Augustus smirks. "Illusions eh? We've had our share of run-ins with those; reckon you're the first that's been on the side of the angels. Alright, magic man; we're just brawlers, you got a plan to get to the bottom of this?"

"My best idea was to try and leave a zombie hanging for the authorities to discover and hopefully deal with.
While I was astral projecting before I managed to find one of the mages, who could see me, without too much trouble. I suppose I could do it again, and try and be a bit more careful since I know they can detect me. Once I know where one of them is, we might be able to set up an ambush of our own, and hopefully capture the guy. Assuming we can make him talk, we will hopefully be able to come up with a better plan from there".
Assuming none of the Legionaires have a better idea Caleb (who is hardly a master planner) will return to astral scouting and see what he can find.

The Legionaries all nod in agreement as Caleb enters his trance again. (roll your prowl and perception please)

Caleb doesn't prowl or have much in the way of perception (very limited skills being what he is)

Caleb manages to see the dark mystic energy flowing towards a central source in the sheriff's department.

Caleb tells the legionaires "Well, I scouted the area astrally and it seems like most of the mystical energy is flowing towards the Sheriff's department. That could be a tough place to get into, and I'm not sure how I feel about fighting the authorities directly, especially if not all of them have been corrrupted and don't know what's going on".

Augustus simply shrugs. "Then we sneak in and if we get into a ruckus, try not to hurt'em so bad then." He slaps you on the back. "Come on then, let's get a move on."

"Sure, I do need to stop by my hotel room first though if that's possible. If not I suppose I can wing it".
If he gets a chance he'll retreive his costume and some spare ammo (he wasn't running around with tons of bullets in his normal identity and the legionaires aren't packing guns).
Otherwise when he's ready to go he'll say so, and approach the police station with the rest of the team. When he gets close he'll get Armor Of Ithan up and try invisibility again, if nothing else it will hopefully get him past any normal cops, and if they DO spot him they will see his costume so he can hopefully keep Caleb L'angelle off the radar of the police if he IS spotted by any normals.

The brothers look at you carrying your guns. Augustus gives you a strange look. "You seem to pack a lot of hardware fella."
As you go invisible, the others scatter into the shadows.

The Scarecrow is only carrying the one .45 (I'd imagine he didn't bring the BAR with him for a trip like this, though feel free to correct me, since I'm sure he'll use it if he has it with him). He just retrieved his costume and more ammo. In response to the comment though (if something along those lines) he'll say:
"I'm pretty much a farmer despite the time I did in the military. I don't do all that fancy hand to hand fighting stuff, and illusions only go so far. Thus, firearms".
When invisible he'll follow the rest of the group to the police station, unless someone has any better ideas for entry he'll suggest rather uncreatively "Maybe we can open a window or something, I might be able to sneak in through the front door while invisible when someone else opens it, but I'm not sure how that would work for you guys".

"Suit yourself. We had our fill of guns in the Legion. Men in our family prefer to fight with our wits and fists." Augustus responds before he moves into the shadows. "You go on in, we'll meet you inside."
