Alice starts to reply, but stops when Mac hangs up before she gets a chance. Hanging up her phone, she puts it back into her pocket and gets up to look for Jason to talk to him and pass on Mac's message.

*Sierra looks back at Kristien and takes a deep breath and seems to be counting first*
'yeah. i will be now. i'm just happy you're moving about. i just grabbed you and copied you and then Avi had to tell ... and i'm repeating myself'
*she gives a half smirk and then nods* 'i was thinking that .. well worried that whoever it was made his choice and i suddenly realized it was me. then .. i'm not planning on playing in the water. its too big and scary'
*she then moves the cookies out of Janey's reach with a simple 'watch out or you'll get fat ... ' *then looks at Kristien and seems to calm down even more* 'its just that when i get woried or nervous i cook. i was even thinking that the freezer could do with more goodies. maybe some brownies next time .. ' *then she closes the eyes and does a simple pallm slap to the forehead* 'sorry .. blabbing again. it's just i'm so relieved you're okay'

" I'll take my chances ." Janie said as she rounded the corner and was out of sight. Kristian, took sierra's hand to try to calm her. " Hey, relax. everything is okay now, or it will be when I can sit flat." He smirked. " Come here." He said and pulled her close to kiss her. " There, you made me thank Avi, but now I get to thank you my own way."
As Ashley and Isamu stood outside the garage door, something hammered against the wall, causing Ashley to flinch.
Alice rounded the corner, and Janie nearlty walked into her, consumed with the cookies she was munching on. She was about to say something, butcovered her mouth long enough to finish the mouthful she had. " You okay. Allie? you seem down in the dumps. " she offered a cookie, a remarkable gesture considering how much Janie liked her snacks.

Alice smiles weakly at Jane and replies "I'm ok, I guess. Just got into another fight with Jason and need to talk to him. Have you seen him?" Looking surprised, she accepts the cookie and says "Thank you."

" He's in the garage I think. " Janie replied, and smirked," Why you put up with that hot head is beyond me. All I can say is the make up sex must be good." she giggled.
" You won't hurt me. I have faith in your control." Kristian smiled. He held her close. " So did anyone figure out what happened yet?"

*Sierra carefully puts her arms on his shoulders and moves closer.
'yeah ... i know i sensed a Meta in the water ... just at the edge of my range .. and by the time i started on the cookies to calm down, the others were in the room upstairs.
'seems someone was guiding the shark to attack. we're just not sure as to 'why' ... '
*she smiles and feels much more relieved that he's up and out of immediate danger.

Alice blushes a little as she admits "Actually we.. well, we haven't gotten that far yet." Almost looking defensive, she adds "It's just cause he's been recovering from major surgery and we hadn't really known each other very long before the surgery. I'm sure it'll happen when the time is right and we're both ready."

'i'm just glad you're gonna be alright. really glad. i was thinking of trying to lure the shark ... but then i realized ... i can't swim .. so it was a bad idea ... and gave up on it.
'besides, the cookies would burn .. and chances are Janey would eat hte cookie dough instead of cooking it' *just carefully leans against his body and inhales the smell of him. she just nuzzles his head and hair, content to just be near him.

Hearing the thump, Isamu runs into the garage and takes a moment to assess the situation. As he does so he says, "is everything all right, we heard a noise." He purposely leaves out the fact that they were seen arguing through the camera.

* a part of Sierra knows something is happening beyond the kitchen walls, but now? .. her attention is focused on Kristien and his pressence in her life.
* she leans closer and then whispers something in his ear and then grins before giving a kiss to his stunned face and moves to deal with the cookies in the over .. saving the dough and rolling it up in waxed paper to freeze until later.
* she wraps that log in foil and then stuffs it into a bag before popping it into the freezer for baking later. she grins at Kristien over the shoulder and starts on the dishes so that something is finished.

As he entered, Isamu felt the crunch of the remnants of a cellphone underfoot, apparently meeting it's demise against the wall. " Everything will be fine, Is, as soon as Avery keeps his noseyness to himself, among other things" Jason replied, jogging on a treadmill.
" I'm trying to keep you from killing yourself. You can't overdo it, Jason." Avi replied, turning to Isamu. " It's too soon for him to be using his powers, even just to test them. You talk some sense into him, I can't. " Avi looked at the mess and scowled, and you owe me a phone."
" Bill me." Jason replied curtly, the treadmill speeding up.
Shaking his head, Avi left. Jason grinned and turned his attention to Isamu, " So what can I do for you, Is?"
Janie looked almost disappointed. " You haven't...? Girl, you're slipping. But there's always a first time. " she winked with a grin as she continued on, heading towards the warroom and eating her cookie.
Kristian simply lets Sierra go, leaning on one elbow as he grinned while watching her. Once she was finished, he finally spoke," You know I hate to admit it, but you're the best choice to play bait. Let's face it, there's no way that fish could hurt you. " He had a look on his face that said it all. He didn't want her to agree.

'IF the others thought it would work, i'ld do it .. but i really don't want to. i'ld have better luck copying the Meta out in the water. besides .. what could i do? .. grab that fishy thing and throw it on the beach away from the water? ... '
'but i don't know how to swim, so if he's faster than me and i'm out there chasing him and he gts out of range? .. being tough isn't gonna mean squat'
*she just shrugs and then moves to sit on a stool beside Kristien and carefully rubs his back as she rests her head on his shoulder* 'i would have done something like that ... if .... well ... if you didn't get better ... '

Alice found Ashley standing outside the garage, not looking impressed. " They're into it again. I wish I knew what set Jas off at Avi so bad." She explained. " Isamu went in to try to settle things."
The door opened, and Avi stepped out, looking frustrated. " Hello ladies. Alice, maybe you can talk some sense into that man of yours. Or just let Ashley here use those claws on him."
" We'll work something out, Si." Kristian said comforting as he put an arm around her. " Avi said something about catching this guy at a club. Did you get a good enough feel of him to recognize him if he's there is he comes into range?"
