*Sierra grins at the comment* 'i think you need to work that off. but its cool. another time i feel worried, i'll probably bake again. maybe this time the cookies will last longer than the ones in the freezer did? don't worry .. i know there was at least one other dipping into them, besides me.
*she laughs at the outraged protest of Dimitri that time, and gets back to shuffling the cookie sheets. 'i'll show you how to bake next time J. have you all decided on the next action with the shark out there .. ?

*she turns from the sink where she is and watches Janey and Dimitri. 'cause i am thinking about being the bait ... but i know Kristien will be mad if i did. and probably all of you others .... so i won't. but still .... i really wish i could have thought better than i did when it attacked.
*she looks towards the hallway and goes quiet, before turning her attention back to the trays of cookies and gets the next batch ready. unlike most people, she makes sure to wear little plastic gloves for the cookie dough

" Don't count on it, Sierra." Dmitri said. " Janie won't be happy until they're all gone." He laughed as she scowled at him, her mouth full.
His laughter faded," Hold on. You can't go out there swimming to try to lure that guy and his pet fish in. That's crazy."
" Hello Miss Weatherby. Sorry to disturb you, but I was informed Jason was discharged today and was trying to reach him but his cellphone is turned off. " Dylin MacColter said monotonely. It was the first time he had called since Will's disappearance. Avi had said it wasn't uncommon for Mac to give his people some space when they needed it. " I wanted to speak with him to see if he's up for a little field work. I have a job that suits his talents. I don't suppose you know where to find him?"
Ashley's flirting was interrupted by a sigh as she glanced at a monitor. " Crap, those two are into it again. We better go stop them." She tapped the screen that showed Avi and Jason in a heated exchange in the garage.

* Sierra looks at Dimitri and sighs* 'i said a part of me is thinking that. a lot of good i'ld do in the water. i can't swim. so while i might want to go out there, i can't. unless .... ' *she frowns as she looks out the window briefly* 'nah, i would have to practice the power a couple of times .... so i can't help that way. but i should let you know that i did sense someone out in the water ..... he was at the edge of my range, so that says that HIS control over the shark has a range ... right?'
* she turns back to look at Dimitri's still shocked face and comments 'you know Janie's mouth will attrat flies hanging open like that. besides i'm not THAT crazy. i had bad luck with large water already ... i got changed into this .. then K ... Kristien got attacked .. so big water and me just don't get along.
* she turns her attention back to the cookie sheets and the cookies on other cooling racks. planning on freezing these ones for later.

" Oh crap..." Dmitri slapped his forehead. " When I did my flyover, I saw someone walking up the beach out of the water. That might have been our guy."
Janie finished her cookie. " It's not your fault Dim. You were looking for a fish, not a swimmer."
There was a pause on the other end of the line. " Yes, I'd appreciate that. Is there something wrong between you and Jason? He gave me the impression you two were meant for one another. your tone when I mention him suggests otherwise." mac's uncanny ability to read people reared it's head as he asked.

*she's succeeded in getting more bagged for the freezer than Janie realized. she's slipped the almost full cooling rack and replaced it with one that was empty just in time for the next batch coming out.
'i think he's figured out which one he wants .. just has to get his choice away from the others. so that means everyone is going to be attached at the hip with their ... oh. god i hope it isn't me .. ' *the look of shock at her own words has totally confused Sierra

Alice sighs quietly over the phone as she replies "It.. it's just that Jason and I argue a lot. We got into another argument not that long ago. Sometimes I wonder if we really are right for each other if we fight all the time."

*Sierra looks like she's about to say something, then closes her mouth and goes back to the cookies.
* she's worried that it was a set up. get rid of one boy and make hte girl vulernable. well now Kristien is sort of vulnerable and she's technically without a boyfriend. maybe that was the idea.
*she shakes her head and gets rid of the gloomy thoughts, but somewhere in the back of her mind it holds on for a while longer. then she focuses again on the cookies, as she doesn't want any to burn. and wonders if the freezer could hold any more of those lemon loaves? .. her need ot occupy her mind is growing now.
'maybe make a couple of lasagna's? .. and maybe cook up a chicken with the works for dinner and get some soup started afterwards with the bones ... and get a pot of chili started. that would be good'

" You know if this hero thing ever goes under, you should open a resturant." Janie grinned at sierra and the talk of food. After a moment, movement in the doorway grabbed sierra's attention. With a hobble, Krisitan took an empty seat gingerly, " It smells too good in here to lay in bed."
Ashley stopped at the doorway, and looked at Isamu, " You better go in first. I'm just as lukely to gut the pair of them with my claws as I am to talk reasonably. " she looked like she was forcing herself to remain calm.
" It's not my place to give advice, as I've never been good at choosing between work and life, but is Jason really trying to pick fights?" Mac replied with a paternal tone," I'm sure Jason is at fault for instigating, but is he really trying to start something or is it just his fiery personality getting in the way. I've known him for sometime, and he has a gift for getting to people. It runs in his family. My only suggestion is to sit him down, tell him to shut up and listen and then tell him how you feel. I've done it myself several times. " He paused. " It works much better than slapping him around no matter how good it would feel."

*Sierra turns to look at Janey and then starts to laugh at the thought. 'well that would be keeping under the radar i guess ... '
*she looks to the doorway and nearly drops hte bowl of batter and then the biggest smile crosses her face as her eyes light up. 'here .. have some more ... i was going to cook some more ... maybe some chili ... and rost chicken with the works and some chicken soup and maybe lasagnas ... but that can wait ... are you okay?' *her eyes are on her sleeve as she refrains from reaching out to help Kristien move.
'can i get you something? .. milk? .. iced tea? .. ohmygoodnessthecookies ... ' *she rushes over to the stove to deal with the cookies before they burn and then puts the next tray in to bake. she looks back and her cheeks go scarlet and her grin shows as she deals with the hot goodies. once the cookies are cooling, she leans over and gives Kristien a peck on the cheek*

Alice chuckles weakly "I'll have to try that sometime." Sighing, she replies "I guess it's just that he has the ability to piss me off in less time than it takes for tea to steep. I should try to be more patient too, I suppose."

The longer you wait to set him straight, the harder it will be." The line went statically for a moment." Pardon me, I have another call." After a moment, Mac came back on the line," i'm sorry Alice, but I need to take this call from Ryne. Please have Jason call me, and take a moment to talk to him. Goodbye." The line went dead.
Kristian blushed a bit," Relax Sierra, I'm okay, if a bit sore. You and Avi did a great job healing me."
Janie and Dmitri looked at each other and left, but not before Janie swipped two more cookies, causing dmitri to shake his head in disbeleif.
Kristian smirked," Are you okay? you seem agitated."
